Interesting comment regarding god and the devil considering god is responsible for over 2.5 million deaths in the bible (not including the flood) and satan is only responsible for 7 deaths.
Actually, Satan, Who brought about sin and destruction, by doing what he did to Eve. Is the indirect cause of every man woman and child who ever dies.

since our God says that He is God of the living even about those now deceased it might be wise to check scripture on the ressurecction since no one is really dead to Him in that sense. all will be raised at the resurrection of the dead and it is appointed once for man to die. this is part of the process. this is why God is able to forgive even murder. even His only begotten son Jesus was brutally murdered. But God allowed it and raised Jesus from the dead to prove that He has the power over life and death. job13:15 job declares that even though He slay me; yet will i hope in Him
He also has the power to kill those who are incorrigibly wicked...

Rev 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Which destroys the body and soul and leaves nothing but ash...

Mat 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

Mal 4:1 For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.
Mal 4:2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
Mal 4:3 And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts.

Rev 20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
Rev 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
Rev 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Not life in some other place, death for all eternity. God does kill people who rebel against Him.

God is God regardless, and He is sovereign, you can kick against God all you want, and go to hell deserving, and burn to His glory if you want - I prefer to humble myself and submit by His Grace and know that I didn't deserve anything but got everything.

count the cost of our choices and be prepared for the consequences - good or bad

It is about time that a poster actually recognizes that the law points out what kills. Posters point out that we need the HS and that is a protection for us, that the law is love, that God is always waiting and wanting to forgive. But if anyone points out that you can't bring sin to heaven with you, you can't live in this world with both sin and God running you life, then many posters raise their arms shouting false, false, false.

I have heard that any instructions against sin is only for those who sin (who doesn't?) or God got rid of anything Moses said, that if we tell any sinner this they may not accept Christ's forgiveness, that they are exempt from listening because God forgives them through grace, I could go on and on.

I go to my loving, protective Lord with fear and trembling of life without Him. God's law is part of that protection. Life without God means death, and I understand that.

What really kills is sin...

Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

[h=3]Ezekiel 21
[/h]King James Version (KJV)

21 And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
[SUP]2 [/SUP]Son of man, set thy face toward Jerusalem, and drop thy word toward the holy places, and prophesy against the land of Israel,

[SUP]3 [/SUP]And say to the land of Israel, Thus saith the Lord; Behold, I am against thee, and will draw forth my sword out of his sheath, and will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked.

[SUP]4 [/SUP]Seeing then that I will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked, therefore shall my sword go forth out of his sheath against all flesh from the south to the north:

[SUP]5 [/SUP]That all flesh may know that I the Lord have drawn forth my sword out of his sheath: it shall not return any more.

With all due respect, who designed those parameters?

It was God who decided 'My spirit will not contend with the mortal man always, so his days on Earth shall be 120 years'

So it would seem that God himself is not confined, but he designed the parameters that led to our confinement, even if mankind did undertake the action that would be the causality for those rules to be put into effect.
1Jn 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

Whatever happens to man, life or death, blessing or punishment is a result of his/her choices.
God is crystal clear on that. Going back to HIM and asking HIM why HE did that? well it does not really matter to a child that is obedient....

Job 9
[SUP]19 [/SUP]If I speak of strength, lo, he is strong: and if of judgment, who shall set me a time to plead?
[SUP]20 [/SUP]If I justify myself, mine own mouth shall condemn me: if I say, I am perfect, it shall also prove me perverse.
[SUP]21 [/SUP]Though I were perfect, yet would I not know my soul: I would despise my life.

[SUP]22 [/SUP]This is one thing, therefore I said it, He destroyeth the perfect and the wicked.

He is the author of sin...

Joh 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

He sinned before man was created...

Eze 28:15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.
