Is it wrong that I am incredibly amused that people still walk into a public forum, plant a flag in the ground (Izzard reference) after two whole days, decide that they have the authority to set rules. "This is my corner of the sandbox! You have to do what I say here!"

Uh, no we don't. It's not your sandbox. It's not my sandbox, either, so neither of us have any authority to decide who gets to play where.

It's really the threat of being reported that REALLY tickles something fierce, though. Nothing makes me giggle quite like watching someone who has never even seen the banhammer dropped here threaten an established veteran, as if vets don't know where the line is. "You're totally getting banned when I report you!" Yeah, because in a thousand previous posts, I've never ever been too blunt or too snide or too sarcastic, so THIS time I'm totally getting banned, unlike before.

Of course, I would find it completely hilarious, too...if Stilly, Oncefallen, Nanners, Bridget, or even Robo read this and decided to drop the banhammer on me just as a joke. ^_^

New update.

Cristen (MissCris) just had a bit of a breakdown. She's ok, but the fact of her fathers death had sunk in, and her kids went wild and other problems at home all hit her at once. She's got a lot of issues going on surrounding all this that i won't give details about. But she needs a lot of prayer right now. And over the next few days or weeks even.

My 8 year old son makes me laugh. He asked me how old my Mom is. I told him that she's 75. He said, "Oh, well she's younger than Tony DePalo, he's 79, you're younger than him too." I did have to ask who Tony DePalo is, he is an children's author. I was relieved, I thought maybe he had watched some new Italian reality show or something. lol

OK another funny kid story. My Daughter who is 7 has this habit of eating things with her fingers. This includes Jello and mashed potatoes. My husband and I joke about this a lot, like, I hope she does this on her first date. Tonight she had some Jello and later was eating a freeze pop, the kind that are all wrapped in plastic and you have to push it up. Well I asked her what it tasted like. She pushed it up to give me some and it flew in my face along with some left over jello that was on her hand. My husband thought that was hysterical.

lil christian I love your avatar.
Why thank you, haha. I decided to put up something silly for once, instead of people seeing me being all stoic (though honestly it's that look for when I'm focused).

And if I change my avatar any time soon and people decide to dig up this forum, this is what my avatar looks (or looked) like at this point in time. :D
