Don't know what the connection to "end times" is, but I would ask: Is John 3:16 literal? Or any of the other Scriptures throughout the NT that say Jesus is our salvation? Guess it depends on IF YOU BELIEVE.
Peter addresses the crowd 17 and it is in the last days it shall be, God declares, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh your sons and daughters will prophesy , visions, dreams 18 men and maid servants will receive holy spirit and prophesy. 19 And I will show wonders in heaven above and signs on the earth beneath , blood and fire and vapor of smoke; 20 the sun shall be turned into darkness and the moon into blood before the day of the Lord comes the great and manifest day. 21 And it shall be that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

15 .) For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.
16 .) But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;

Seems clear to me Peter was speaking of that present time, believing that he/they were living in the last days.......

All of the prophets viewed the future through a lens that flattened depth perception. Everything was viewed on a flat canvas, so to speak. Context and the spirit of GOD form the hermeneutic lens that brings everything into perspective.
thank you. yes I agree he was speaking as if it were the last days. But he still understood what the last days were to be like. I was wondering specifically verse 21 (with him still understanding what the last days would be like).

The judgments in Revelation are locale specific IMO. Not every one on earth will curse GOD.

It is literal and also if you name the name of Christ you have to depart from iniquity.

I admit Revelations leaves me a little confused at times. the way I understood it was 6 th seal seems to be the time Jesus brings his people to save from tribulation, and the 144000 sealed . then I thought those who were left (tribulation) rather than turn to God curse him.
now as to vs 21 in acts 2 2:21 blood moon etc. . is this Gods way of saying even until now if you call on the name of the Lord you will be saved.
