This is true, when we are born we are not with the Holy Spirit, we simply have the breath of life and our OWN spirit
However, when one becomes His, that is, accepts Christ, then, one CAN receive the Holy Spirit who will ENTER into them.
So, true, Adam did not have the Holy Spirit when he was made by God, but, you can be certain, just like for David and all the rest of the people in the bible, including Paul, Barnabus, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, ALL having the inviTation to accept the Holy Spriit into their life, their 'Helper,' who is a helper unlike any other they've ever had.
God provided Himself as the Holy Spirit in the Old Testament and once Jesus was on Earth and was going to be going to Heaven, the disciples were saddened greatly by the fact of Christ leaving but Christ told them that they need not despair, for He would be with THEM and it would be via the Holy Spirit ENTERING into them
