I get frustrated when...

1....After waiting for so long... I finallly get the mic!!!!! ... but then I realize that I waited that much that I forget what to say :P that's really frustrating!!!!. :O

2. People I just met ask me very personal questions... :S
3. pwoplw dont explain me things clearly and then get upset with me.... grrr lil
 
I get frustrated when............... I ask a woman out for a date and she says "With you? I'd rather eat 50 pounds of dates and die of date-poisoning!!!"

It's weird how many women give me that same line. It must be the "in thing" to say right now!!!
 
The first one is very frustrating lol, getting the mic then suddenly forgetting what to say!! This usually happens cos you are so focused on getting the mic that everything else goes out of your head including the reason why you wanted to get the mic in the first place which was to express your views on the topic being discussed in the room.. sometimes you wait so long though, that even if you did remember what you wanted to say, it is no longer relevant by the time you get the mic! Number two on your list Martha - that hasn't happened yet lol - I would just refuse to answer them lol, number 3 do you mean they get upset with you cos you don't know what they're trying to say to you? I don't think anyone has gotten upset with me cos I didn't understand them, they'd just need to keep repeating themselves to me lol, which is probably annoying but most of the time I know what ppl are saying to me lol

Wow, what kind of women are you talking to? O.o, if it was me.. I'd probably feel a bit awkward but then just completely change the subject & start talking about the weather instead! lol

Petals, the only time women talk to me about the weather is when I'm flirting with them, and all of a sudden they tell me I should head home right away before I get struck by lightning. I'm not sure how they know what the weather will be like, but perhaps I coincidentally meet a lot of aspiring meteorologists!!!

Also when I say I love you and people take it as some kind of physical love type thing..

Also when I have this smooth plan to talk to the cool kids... And as I approach my stutter increases... I suddenly realize I'm sweating and best of all the cool line becomes... "ummmmm hi" read that with a stutter so it takes like a minute to complete

I have the same problem Alexis. For example, I tell strange women on the street that I love them, and all they do is call the police on me.

Yes, it really is that bad, Petals. Which doesn't make sense to me, because we hardly get any rain here in Canada, so I don't know where all these lightning forcasts are coming from!!!

I get frustrated when:

I see an old jalopy on the road with a bumper sticker that says, "Jesus loves you.":(

I can't tell my Joshua "I love you" because he immediatelly translates this as: "my father likes me" or "my father wants me".

If I say my daughter: "I love you, Joy" she would translate it in another way (I don't know) because Latin-Hispano culture doesn't match "LOVE" with a purer affection, but with sex and its intercourse (at least as I see it in my own sordid Latin mind).

So English gives you freedom to say "I love you" to whomever YOU REALLY LIKE. Spanish has two ways to say it:

"Te quiero" or "Te amo", and the last is proper to people opposite sexed.

I'm not frustrated with the use of these, but these are ways where culture frustrates people.

Yikes! If I added to your frustration, I am completely sorry! I know what you mean when you say "I love you" and meaning it in a Christian love kind of way, but I never miss an opportunity to make a joke....it's my niche!

You know, my best friend growing up had a horrible stutter. He couldn't get by any word that started with an H - he'd run out of breath. He could stand up for himself but I always got so infuriated if anybody made fun of him (besides me! If I made fun of him, we were both ok with that). Anyway, he ended up going to a "special" school and not the public school we were both in. Turns out this "special" school was a private school for gifted students. I thought it was a school that was going to help him with his stutter. While the school may have helped him, his stutter wasn't of paramount importance and now he's a medical doctor starting his own practice. Hhhhhhhow's that for a turn-about! All those guys that made fun of him are saying yes ssssssir right now!

OOOHHH I also get that a lot... I want to say one thing and end up saying another thing... some people get upset and I feel like... WHA!!!??!!! LOL it's really frustrating... Specially because I have to think in a different language, by the way my first language is Spanish..

You could never add to my frustration lol you made me laugh...

I meant that about my peers at school teasing me when I tell people I love them..

I my I stutters ad but not when really calm or when I sing. Honestly as I'm getting older it's funny. I will start stuttering and then get to laughing and well lol it's great.
I meant all this pretty light-hearted though it is sometimes frustrating it is not something I'm worried about. Especially the cool kids ;) hey I am one lol jk...

Always be you and joke with me, I have a pretty good acceptance for all joking and even sarcasm... It's a cool niche to have naughtier brings joy to the heart. This I'm sure pleases the Lord

SO true!!!!! tramo is a very strong word in spanish... and yeah it frustrates the usare of te quiero or te amo :S
