Your view on this subject is spiritually unbalanced and myopic to say the least, you take 2 Scriptures (1Cor 14v34,35, 1Tim 2v11-15) out of context (they are dealing with a domestic context, NOT church practice, for Paul says in 14v26, "everyone of you hath..." 1Cor 12v7 "the Spirit is given to each one...", 1Cor 11v5 also clearly teaches that women can pray and prophesy in a church meeting, and so forth) and table that as ALL the truth on this subject that the Scriptures has to offer!
You also disregard the fact that Priscilla taught Apollos (whom Paul says was an apostle) the way of God more accurately...Acts 18v26

I have noticed that when someone gives an exegesis of a text that disagrees with someone else that exegesis is regarded as "out of context." Thus far, I have made no comment about either passage. All I have done is simply present the text as they are written and you accuse that of being out of context. Interesting.
Not correct. The teaching about "when you come together as a church" starts at 1 Cor 11;17.
Women and men don't need to go to a meeting of the saints to pray or prophecy. That, at least, should be self-evident. See Act 21:9.
As for Priscilla teaching Apollos, that is permitted outside of a church meeting where there is a need to be met. Thus there would be no strictures on women teaching Hebrew grammar etc.

I've been called in the preaching ministry for over 30 years..... I'm just curious if you saw that.
That's not bragging, mind you, but just making the point if you "discerned" by the Spirit of God that you know who I am, seems to me you shoulda' known something about that too.

I see no contradiction with these scriptures to I Cor 14:35-36 or I Tim 2:11-12.
What is all boils down to is whether you want ot do what God says or be accepted in this politically correct society. My choice...
