In the assembly, when the congregation was being directed in prayer, the women were charged to cover their heads as a recognition of submission for the man is head over the woman. Likewise, the men were commanded to pray without their heads covered remembering that they too are in submission to Christ who is the head over the Church.
I gotta disagree here, the subject is HAIR, not some type of covering or cover (oorah)...

1Co 11:4 Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head.
1Co 11:5 But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.
1Co 11:6 For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.
1Co 11:7 For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.
1Co 11:8 For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man.
1Co 11:9 Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.
1Co 11:10 For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels.
1Co 11:11 Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord.
1Co 11:12 For as the woman is of the man, even so is the man also by the woman; but all things of God.
1Co 11:13 Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered?
1Co 11:14 Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?
1Co 11:15 But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.
1Co 11:16 But if any man seem to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither the churches of God.

Yes. That is the whole point. I was not suggesting a veil covering.

Sorry, misunderstood. Some teach a woman must cover her head with a hat or cloth or shawl. The subject is plainly hair. OK, sorry, back under my rock.

Nobody has any idea what you're talking about, even the people supporting your thread.

What's going on with you that's got everyone so confused, Imperfect?

1 Cor 14:33 For God is not [the author] of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

Praus, one word.

Schizophrenia.

Might also explain the misogyny and homsexual obsessions.

Your question was a good one and one that is much misunderstood I think. I am not sure I understand all that is involved in this but, the issue is clearly that of the woman's hair in contrast to that of the man.

obsessions?

is this thread not about women and teaching in the church?

and theres a homosexual thread on the main page, maybe even 2, i dont know. and i have 1 post in both of them and i went in there 1 time to make the post.

obsession?

i make the comparison in how homosexuals and women act toward the subjects that pertain to them.. which is pretty clear why they act similar.. i mean, they both have similar hormones**Giving benefit of the doubt and correcting spelling** in them and all.... the comparison is pretty canny when you are not a female to be able to look at the situations from outside the box.

Good point.

I have a question....... if the beginning of a thing is corrupt, what will the final outcome be?

A tree is known by its fruit....... & cannot produce 2 types.
we are talking statistics. statistics will tell you all day that single mothers raise the most convicts. you think im wrong? prove it.

James 1:26 If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this mans religion [is] vain.

Evil spirits are very consistent in that they just can't stop cursing on CC.

Matthew 12:36
I tell you, on the day of judgement people will give account for every careless word they speak

Proverbs 10:18
the one who conceals hatred has lying lips, and whoever utters slander is a fool

Psalm 101:5
Whoever slanders his neighbor secretly i will destroy. Whoever has a haughty look and an arrogant heart i will not endure.

James 4:11
Do not speak evil against one another, brothers. The one who speaks against a brother or judges his brother speaks evil against the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge.

That is why i am asking it does not make sense any woman praying or prophesying thats speaking to me then it says keep silent
If the basic command in this matter is for the women to remain silent and refrain from speaking, then every question refrain the woman's participation in public worship must be governed by this standard.

The context says nothing about it being in a church setting. However we do read this...

1Co 11:13 Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered?

And we know we should pray in private.
