Sorry guys, but all the 'before after' posts made me think of this weird TLC show,
the best proof that using too much make up (etc) can be an addiction girls learn at a young age.

That's one disturbing show...

I wear make up everyday(except when I'm at home) but sometimes I don't feel like wearing one. I usually wear a light make up. A dab of tinted moisturizer, loose powder and lip gloss will do. I need to put to wear make up because my work demands so. I can go out without any make up on but i would look like a tomato. Hahaha. I'm not really fond of putting any eye shadows or eyeliners but when the occasion calls for it then I dont mind. There's nothing wrong with putting any make up on as long as they don't overdo it. Sometimes girls wear makeup to enhance their features and some don't have perfect skin. :p

You, know, beauty isn't skin deep. It's really not about the make up or the fashion, but about the light in the eyes, the curve of the lips, and the confidence of the steps we take. Beauty is an INSIDE job.

Rainin :There is foundation with 50+ sunscreen that is good for all skin types including aged skin as it protects and moisturises.
Added light eyeshadow and mascara.
Tiny bit blush if wanted and voila.
Just keep it natural makeup and careful with powder.
I dont use powder now but use liquid foundation with sunscreen applied like a moisturiser.

I did a short makeup course and the make up took longest time to apply was the "natural looking" one "clear beauty".
Getting the eyeliner so thin it looks invisible and like natural part of eye.
Strange but I am not so good at applying makeup but truly wish I was more passionate about it.
Saw eye art and some youtube clips amazing.
Such art, passion, skill.
Wish I had it.
Maybe some day.

I wear makeup maybe once a week at least.
Often foundation , shadow, blush and mascara and sometimes eyeliner.
I wear a brownygoldy colours but would love to invest in some more vibrant colours for special occasions.

Make up does not always make me feel beautiful although it often makes me look more beautiful.
But looking and feeling not just look good feel bad.

I feel beautiful when I am playful, feel loved, cared for, have my spirit and feel united in who and all i am.
I feel beautiful when I am naturaly me and not so troubled, bullied or abused or "distant".

When it becomes immoral then i am apposed.
Truly evil things people do to feel and look beautiful and although they feel and look it if it is stolen and comes from evil doings then nomatter how they feel or look it aint beauty or true beauty for true beauty would not be made by such actions....
I bought cheap makeup few times and had pigfat and yucky stuff in it but expensive ones can have even more immoral things in it that crime to make and stolen etc. blackmarketin...

Inner beauty is relevant but how strange people can and do cheat on that department also. lol

Nice have husband do makeup for you and hair and clothes... lol
That is if he better at that also he be creative and talented and interesting exciting see what one look like and he can make you more beautiful than you can make yourself.
Trust him and leave yourself in his hands.

Make up can echance and even be healing to some point and was combined with medicine practice in some places in the "olden days". strangely enough. :)
Many interesting and good ingredients can be found were used in beginning of makeup.

All occasions makeup ok as that is individual choice.

It is sad when woman obsess.
One woman would not go to bed without makeup when she slept with her boyfriend she slept with makeup and got up 4 am to re apply makeup b4 he saw her.
That is sad she did not want him see her natural.

When a woman to much make up and it look cakey and over the top thats still her business and choice as long as she not crime for it.
We may think it ugly applied but what the reason for it?

Make up on males?
On stage it can look awesome.

This reminded me of a friend when we have our reunion and went for 2 days outing. First thing she did when we wake up in the morning was grabbed her purse, and put makeup on her face. I was just smiling with surprised watching her while she was doing it. She's a sweet girl but I think she really is obsessed with makeup. And then she said makeup is what makes her happy, oh well... and she's married now maybe she's still doing it and yes you can tell she's high maintenance, but it's okay since she married a businessman. :D

Yeah, that's Honey Boo Boo. She's pretty much a minor celebrity here. Sad.

Not at all Rach, at least for me. Perhaps there are some that put it on to the point where I can't tell......but if you can't tell and it doesn't make a difference.....why put it on anyway if it doesn't look any different than without? Your one of those women that look good either way but I have seen you with less on than at other times.....The less you have on, the prettier you are from what I've seen.

And na, same thing with "corrective" makeup.....There's no such thing IMO.....I understand some people are really insecure about pimples, blemishes, freckles...etc... and that's why they put it on so I get it. Still yet, like the examples grace posted......Who doesn't like a cute ginger with freckles? The only thing I like better about the second pics makeup picture is that she has her hair down vs. up in the other one. That black stuff she's putting around her eyes just diminishes the beauty they already had. Freckles aren't a bad thing, not sure why people with a lot of freckles think they are.

Speaking of Gingers, I do have to concede a point to Jules......although I really don't like makeup at all.....that doesn't translate as far as "I like hairy armpits"....lol, same as far as tooth brushing goes. That's not natural but I wouldn't want a non brusher either.
