You Faith isn't some kind of Capital you can spend in the dating world.

Its not like God owes you anything. Being a Christian and having a relationship are about as far removed as taking a shower is from getting a good deal on a 6 pack of mountain dew.

I don't know who told you that being Christian means that you are a good guy and therefore, you should get women. I would ask for a refund.

In relationship terms, you are everything that you bring to the table. Right now, If I was a girl, I would see you as a project. Cause this whole pity angle thing, tells me there's a lot of work that needs to be done.

You need to give people a reason to want to be with you. You need to convince someone that they are missing out on the time that they spend doing other stuff, when they could be spending it with you. No girl is going to want to be around you if your whole ethos is about unfair "the system" is.

All you have is the hand that God dealt you. Now you can cry about it, or talk about how the good guys, ie YOU aren't slaying the hearts of every girl you meet OR you can make the best with the tools that you have.

Because this, this thing you are doing here has to stop. No woman is going to want to be with you because they feel sorry for you. You are not some puppy left out in the cold. You are a man, now quit feeling sorry for yourself and start acting like a man.

Still ... still being pretty vague there, buddy.

Its not like God owes you anything.
And I'm not saying that He does. Where did you get this idea?

Being a Christian and having a relationship are about as far removed as taking a shower is from getting a good deal on a 6 pack of mountain dew.
I disagree. Being a Christian means living and everyday, normal life with the Lord Jesus, in contrast to living a normal life without God. Since the Lord Jesus is the Lord and Master of the Christian, and since His Book (the Bible) is His will for us to know and live by, and in that Book He reveals Himself as He that desires to have our cares, for He careth for us; and in that same Book we know that we are loved by Him, and are led by Him, and should always pray and seek Him everyday, and in every situation and for ever decision, which includes us getting into relationships (now it is evident that God approves of love relationships and marriage for His children, seeing as there is much discussion of it in the New Testament)-- we cannot ever say that anything that we do in our lives is ever separated from our relationship with the Lord Jesus, which is what Christianity is.

I don't know who told you that being Christian means that you are a good guy and therefore, you should get women. I would ask for a refund.
No one told me this. You've invented this. In fact, I have no idea as to what I should do with this.

Right now, If I was a girl, I would see you as a project. Cause this whole pity angle thing, tells me there's a lot of work that needs to be done.
haha Pity angle? What pity angle? And if I am anyone's project, I am God's, for I have committed my entire life in His hands, since I have acknowledged that only He can perfect me. You can keep your pathetic pity, Liamson; but if you would be of any help, then simply pray.

You need to give people a reason to want to be with you. You need to convince someone that they are missing out on the time that they spend doing other stuff, when they could be spending it with you.
Honestly, I see this as ridiculous. It is not in my mind to ever think this way, nor ever will I think this way. I will try other paths than this.

No girl is going to want to be around you if your whole ethos is about unfair "the system" is.
Well, then, what can I do about that? My life, my circumstances, are what they are; and since much of it is beyond my control, then, again, What can I do about that?

All you have is the hand that God dealt you.
There we go. Now you're getting somewhere. God is sovereign.

Now you can cry about it, or talk about how the good guys
If I cry, I cry out to God, and I refuse to accept anything else but the facts. I will not simply put on a happy smile and begin to think positively. It does not work!

YOU aren't slaying the hearts of every girl you meet OR you can make the best with the tools that you have.
And this is why one cannot give out any helpful advice online, without really getting to know the person they're "trying" to help. If you knew me, you wouldn't say this. I know, I know, ... you're already beginning to form all forms of insults and arguments from reading this statement, but unless you get out of your own head, and try to know another's life, then you'll just be spewing hot air.

Because this, this thing you are doing here has to stop.
lol What? I actually agree! How do you think I feel?! LOL I want a completely different life altogether! But I can't stop this, unless there is a complete solving of this. But I will tell you what you can do: if you have such a problem with what I post, then click that handy Ignore button. It'll help you.

No woman is going to want to be with you because they feel sorry for you.
True, and I wouldn't want them to be with me because of that.

You are not some puppy left out in the cold.
Ah, those metaphors of yours lol. But you'd be surprised how much I relate to this puppy! haha

You are a man, now quit feeling sorry for yourself and start acting like a man.
Oh my goodness ... this is about the DUMBEST thing I've ever had told to me. Be a man? Men that act "like men" are incapable of feeling sorry for themselves? haha You make no sense right now. That's it, I can't speak to you anymore.

You have a great day slaying the hearts of those girls LOL.

Is not that they aren't capable of feeling sorry for themselves. It's just that real men, and real women, do something about it. Maybe they can't change the thing itself, but they can change their perspective on it.

Adults who wallow in self-pity go back to their childish roots of "But that's not fair! I should be the one getting that job/car/girlfriend/raise/whatever else!" like a toddler throwing a tantrum. And yes, prayer is incredibly important. But God's not a genie and we are not Aladdin, and He doesn't let us just sit back and wait for Him to fix everything. It takes effort on our part, effort to grow from it and not stay in it and feel sorry for ourselves. I think that's more Liamson's point, there.

"When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me." 1 Corinthians 13:11

Perspective ... perspective? ... perspective, wow. Rachel, I personally feel that you, I hope, are trying to help (?), but in this comment you're cherry picking; I actually addressed this idea of perspective in my reply. Please read the whole.

Adults who wallow in self-pity go back to their childish roots of "But that's not fair! I should be the one getting that job/car/girlfriend/raise/whatever else!" like a toddler throwing a tantrum.
Again, I referred to this in my reply.

And I never said that He was a genie, neither in real life nor in my reply to Liamson. Please don't put words in my mouth, especially when they seem to accuse me of holding a ridiculous view of God's character. Please study my reply more closely.

It takes effort on our part,
Don't disagree with that.

effort to grow from it and not stay in it and feel sorry for ourselves.
This Reply of yours is becoming rather confusing to me, because it is a result of cherry picking from a larger source, and its focus is somewhat biased because of that. You're beginning to make assumptions about my perspective on life, and how I view things; please, Rachel, don't, because you, in fact, do not know me very well, and would not say these things if you knew me.

I think that's more Liamson's point, there.
I know perfectly what his point was, and it's foolish and childish. Shouting "Be a man!" "Toughen up!" "Stop being a wuss!" "C'mon Nancy, get with it and stop your complaining!" is really brutish, and an unBiblical way to reprove, rebuke, and exhort.[/QUOTE]

"
(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)" ~ Ephesians 5.9

Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so alsodo ye. And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatsoever ye do in word or deed,do all in th
e name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. ~ Colossians 3.12-17

Uh...none of that post was directed at you and only you. I said "we", "our", "their", "adults", "us" in my reply. I was elaborating on my own point.

When you don't understand someone else's words and then think that you've somehow gained the upper hand in a conversation (in which there is no upper hand to be had), that's when you really need to step back and think about things a bit.

The soft pitch approach wasn't working, so yes, some one played hard ball. It doesn't discount the message. Do not cling to brokenness.

I'm astonished to see how fast threads become derailed in ChristianChat.

And what I'm saying has nothing to do with any doctrine from the Romish cult known as Catholicism. To say that would be historically ignorant and patently absurd. Even if you ask any priest who HAS TAKEN his vow of celibacy, they themselves admit that it is their choice; in this topic, the predestination is from God, and not of our own will. They consider it a sacrifice in order to serve the Lord; in being predestined, in spite of how much we desire to be with someone, it cannot happen for various providential reasons. This is the general point of this thread.

But since associating what I'm saying with anything the Romish cult has their priests do is basically an opinion, it unfortunately must remain.
Tell me, if you see a horrendous Vatican's heresy in a thread,
would you stay silent about it and just let it go ?
Would you also stay silent about the great spiritual concerns our brother mykim asked himself,
and who are directly related to your thread ?
Do you feel comfortable at the idea of living as " immortal eunuchs " whereas Jesus never meant that ?

I never meant what you said had anything to do with the false doctrines of the Vatican about forced celibacy of priests.
They say " it's their choice ", but it's not. As you know it so well, the Vatican is a cult.
And there is no free will in a cult, but there is brainwashing.

The Lord gave us free will, and Paul was never " predestined " by God to be celibate,
though God knew in advance Paul would have made this choice.
For God gave us free will, and it was Paul own's choice to remain celibate all his life,
in the opposite of the other 11 apostles who had a wife each one of them !

Not everyone has the gift of celibacy.
You cannot remain celibate all your life if the Lord didn't give you the gift of celibacy,
and you didn't make that personal choice.

I read what you're saying, and I'm thinking, That picture is very appropriate LOL. How I felt when I read this.

And so what I've said to Liamson, I say to you.

What is also appropriate is the source of the picture, Troll.me ...

Please, don't be a troll.

I'll guess I'll have to keep in mind where I get my pictures so the message doesn't get lost in translation.

I said it in plain English though the first time: "Do not cling to brokenness."

I also follow natural health and I know what causes my health problems. The problem is that the special diet and herbal remedies that are required are a bit too costly. Organic produce costs an arm and a leg, so I am just hanging in there.

That's a bit mind blowing. I thought the sons of god mentioned in Genesis were angels.
Try to produce your own remedies or try to find local farmers and local gardeners who would sell you at a great price all that is required for your special diet and herbal remedies.
Also, the brains are very sensitive to toxic chemicals, so toxic chemicals like fluoride, lead, and aluminium contained in tap water can have a very bad influence on your immunity system and the normal behavior of your body; I suspect your health problems are directly related to your intoxication from fluoride, lead, and aluminium from tap water.

Also, fluoride in tap water conditions sadness and depression, and could lead you to think these depressing thoughts you have about being celibate for life, whereas it's not your choice, and you would be very happy to resolve your health problems, to get a job, and to find the Christian girl of your dreams you would get married with !

No, Sons of God are not angels, but they are living beings, and they are humanoids made at the Image of God.
For centuries,
The Vatican brainwashed the whole world to believe we are alone in the Universe, but we are not, for God is Life !
Only living beings made at the image of God could be called " Sons of God ", and angels are not made at the image of God !

I'm absolutely sure, for what Adam said when he saw Eve for the first time, that Adam and Eve became one flesh literary, in the Garden of Eden , before the fall. Also, after the fall, God told Eve that He would increase her pains during birth.
Increase ? So that clearly means Eve conceived and gave birth to children in the Garden of Eden, before the fall. Otherwise, there would be no need to " increase " anything ! And God is not a liar !
I suppose that God separated the pure sons and daughters Adam and Eve had in the Garden of Eden,
and transported them to live on another planets in the Universe, and called them " Sons of God ",
since Adam was also called " Son of God " before the fall, and they are not under the curse of Adam and Eve and all their sons and daughters conceived after the fall.

Stay clear from toxic fluoride and toxic GMO food, stay clear from the brainwashing dictatorship forced worldwide by the Vatican, heal yourself physically and spiritually with natural food and natural remedies( for body and soul ) and uplifting thoughts, discover new uplifting perspectives and job opportunities in your life you never saw before, and you will find the Christian girl of your dreams soon enough !
Guaranteed !
