Of course, one can pray directly to Jesus Christ as well.

I think this thread has proven the point of my original post. I am a believer and hopefully everyone else that commented on this thread are believers also. We as believers are the woman. I, as one woman, was trying to teach you another women ,a spiritual truth but you guys could not see it and argument and confusion took over this thread.
This is exactly why women (flesh) and women (spirit) should be silent in church. God knows exactly how he made us and if we don't follow in accordance with his word... we breed confusion.
Now, I would just ask that each of you go home and take what I have said to your husband (Christ) and let him show you whether or not what I have told you is true.

If a person perceive the scriptures by the letter (Physical nature) they'll believe that the scriptures is referring to the physical woman, and which they are consider to be weaker than a man, but if a person perceive it by the spiritual nature, they'll perceive it as the ones that are weak in spirit, but not strong in the spirit.
As Jesus had said that a person will not gain no understanding, because His word is written in the spiritual nature. That's why He made a statement saying, "For those whom, has ears, let them hear". If a person keep on perceiving it by the physical nature, They will run into many contradictions and lead that person to death like becoming a non-believer. And remember it is written that there's no male nor female, so how come Paul is distinguishing them? It is all about how one perceive the scriptures.

Of course he is talking about the physical woman. He proves this in the illustration he provides. "For it was Adam who was first created, and then Eve."

These stress the physical woman who is capable of speaking, exorcising self-restraint and bearing children.

Didymos I didn't exegese anything. I simply read the verses. A true believer in Christ is referred to as the woman and Christ is the husband. You see the husband and the woman in this verse as an earthly husband and wife, and I agree, but there is also a spiritual husband and wife. Does that make sense? There are 2 meanings to this passage, the earthly woman should not teach, the spiritual meaning explains why the earthly woman should not teach.
1Co 14:34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law.

I see how my point was totally ignored. YEs CHrist is the church and the church are his bride, but KJV1611, dont use Christs parables and imagary and apply it to what is just a letter to the Church in Corinth as to how to keep their church in order.

The more you post, the less sense you make. Surely you are intelligent enough to see that the gospel of Thomas is nothing more than a collection of nonsense.
I'm sorry Agricola I didn't mean to ignore your point. This goes way beyond the church in Corinth, this is a theme throughout the bible.
Adam was a type of Christ, Eve was a type of the church.
Jacob was a type of Christ, Rachel was a type of the church.
Boaz was a type of Christ, Ruth was a type of the church.
Thomas has spoke directly about the things that were going on between him and the other disciples. He was a guy that doesn't play around, he takes things seriously. That is why he has asked for proof of the resurrections, because he was more detailed of a person. So basically, he has written the exact words in detail that the holy spirit had reminded him that had happened and what Jesus had said. Thomas basically was paying more attention to Jesus, to see if he could find some flaws in Him. By him being a skeptic had made more attentive what Jesus said.

We have no issues with Thomas himself, just the 'lost' false gospel attributed to him (that was written well after Jesus time on earth).

In the first 3 verses of Romans 7, Paul is giving the earthly example of how a woman is bound to the law of her husband as long as her husband lives. If the husband dies, then the wife is free to marry another. All of this is an Old Testament shadow of the real thing to come in Christ.
Rom 7:1 Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth?
Rom 7:2 For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.
Rom 7:3 So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.
