SNIPPETT: Christian’s keep asking me and crying out to me on the internet and telephone, why am I still alone? Why hasn’t the LORD sent my husband or wife yet? Is there anything I can do to have GOD send a person for me to marry so I don’t have to live alone any longer? I have heard this over and over again from Christian’s in many different countries. We have to ask ourselves, why would the LORD have so many of his saints living alone at this time?

Interesting and some was very encouraging, although I wouldn't say I agree with all of it. Some of his reasons were very good and quite possible, but I personally believe every situation is unique and we cannot really bulk everyone into the same category and say this is why all of you are single. And also, there are many sold out, on-fire, in love with Jesus, married people I know, so I wouldn't agree that God always wants to keep you single if there is a strong call on your life. Often God will bring you together with a special person who will benefit you and His kingdom in taking part in fulfilling that call. But all that said, I do agree that if we are looking for a spouse to fill a space God is meant to fill, than He will probably make us wait until we have developed a deep, intimate relationship with Him. And if for some, they are meant to stay single to fulfill a high call, then we need to be open to His will, but I honestly think this is more of the exception to the rule. From my perspective, more people get married than stay single. What do you think?

twilght....I agree....but being single is awsome!! and In found that very encouraging. Some people I know think it is strange that I am single, Im attractive and young and it is completely by choice. But no one could ever love me like Jesus! Why be distracted by a guy? You are freer to pursue your work, and God when you are single...i know there a quite a few happily married females in my life, and I definatly have more time. It is amazing what God can do for you, and I cant imagine giving up any of the intimate glory filled moments between me and my God who loves me! And anytime I am feeling left out for whatever reason, He is right there to remind me how loved I am. Jesus and art....what more could a girl want?

Semiazas...that is sad!! God has been helping me get in shape...pray! God cares about that stuff...It feels soooo good to be in control of your own body. My body does what I tell it to. Your physical self is one area that is pretty easy to control, actually....what doesn't make it to your hand doesn't make it to your mouth. Replace bad habits with good habits...and your body will reward you greatly!! If you really want to loose wait God will help you!! pray for desire to be healthy if you need it.....grealy boosts your confidence too...girls like that kind of srength as well, but a lot of us respect people who overcome,....so the obsticles are a blessing! an opportunity to grow, and improve.....you would be surprised how much more energy you have when you eat right!! May God bless you and help you have the determination to have the amazing temple he wants you to have!!

Not always true. One of the guys I know that's best with the ladies is in worse shape that a lot of us. He's confident and assertive, however, so gets waaaaaay more attention from the ladies.

As for me, I'm super picky, and only like to show interest in girls if they're marriage material. Also, I don't get out much, and am reserved when I do, until I get to know the people around me.

I cant see how a woman wouldnt want to date a man who dresses doggies up in costumes. That dog looks miserable

Well I wouldn't mind a gal who has a black and white polka dot mini skirt - she can wear it monday to friday and the dalmation can borrow it on the weekends.

but what will the dalmation wear monday through friday??? Certainly not the nun outfit. He looks awful. and not to mention sorta like my nana.
