Anyway, it's sad to think that all these women out there, like Angela, are all DISOBEDIENT TO GOD because they are A WOMAN CALLED BY GOD to pastor a church.

YOU just have to see it as the Lord's leading, yes, that's right it CALLING on their life. YOU only THINK you can read God's mind, regardijng this women preaching AND teaching men in the church, only THINK you know . But, you don't. :(

The LOrd ONLY knows a person's heart, the Lord ONLY speaks to a person's heart.

And, I'm not immature to have requested to not speak with someone that doesn't agree with me like someone else did on here, I take what people say as the Lord's calling on my heart to tell them of the truth if what they THINK is a ministering to others by God through them....

But, there ministering is not that, not at all.


But, I speak from my heart in all I say on CC, and, it's fine for others to have opinions of doctrine isssues like women preaching and teaching in a church to men, like so many have been called to do, I just WILL speak out against it as the Lord leads me, I will not stop, until the Lord tells me this person's divisiveness is beyond my calling to diffuse/change/deal with.

The Lord leads, indeed, we MUST follow Him for His calling our life, and, what we are to do, in spite of what we THINK is the proper order and words of Scripture.

God will bring fruit out of a church led by a woman pastor that was producing no fruit when a man pastor was in charge, just He will, that's God, that's how He works, that's how John 15 speaks, too, which is application for both the individual follower of Christ and also the body of Christ (church) :)

Where in the Bible does it give you authority as an UNMARRIED MALE to have authority over other married men's wives and teach them this? If you are an elder in your church and unmarried you violate the rules.

If you are not an elder and persist in the expectation that women should adhere to the prohibition and you exert influence over them like you do other women here, you are wrong.

Being teachable is not at issue, your unmarried status is. I will ask again for you to disclose your marriage status and if you are an elder of your church.

You cannot teach me anyway because I am not under your authority and neither are any of the women here on CC or your own church, you are unmarried and attempting to fill the role of a husband, by teaching married women on the chatboard.

If you are an elder and unmarried, disclose it and do the right thing and step down. You have zero authority over me, so spare me the your are unteachable speech...whats next from you? The dreaded internet chat room REBUKE!?!?

Seems like an unfair request.. You don't need to be married to interpret the bible or comment on the role of women in the church. Consider that the verses under discussion were written by Paul, who was not likely married, and neither was Christ.

In 1 Cor 14:4, Paul talks against speech that has an unclear meaning, a babbling, in verses 5-13. The subject was about this chatter that was causing confusion and disruption in the church at Corinth, Paul was addressing that specific situation, he wasn't seeking to take away the right of Christian women to participate. Paul writes, "For you can all prophesy one by one, so that all may learn and all may be exhorted" (1 Cor 14:31). So imo, Paul was prohibiting talking in regard to disruptive speech. Consider that Paul also told males to keep silent too; "But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church" (I Corinthians 14:28).

" chatter " in church. I agree on one thing; open up your Bibles and study.

Ludicrous basis for initiating an argument. Paul the apostle was not married and gave instructions to women, so your argument starts at that point. There is nothing in being married or unmarried vis-a-vis authority. The only thing that counts is the ability to understand the spiritual things of God, and foremost in that is God's hierarchical concept of power listed in 1 Cor 11, which defines the order of creation.

Yes, if you want to be led by a woman, then what does it make you? A kindergarten kiddie. Nothing can be expected from such a "church." Look into it and you'll find every heretical church starts by elevating women to a position of equality with men.

Well said tell oldhermit that As much as I understand that women are not to preach this chapter has nothing to do with preaching

This is exactly why women (flesh) and women (spirit) should be silent in church. God knows exactly how he made us and if we don't follow in accordance with his word... we breed confusion.

Now, I would just ask that each of you go home and take what I have said to your husband (Christ) and let him show you whether or not what I have told you is true.

Hmm!!!!!!!!!!!!!! when from God's sight, viewpoint, advantage there is no:
Galatians 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

So how do we fit that into your discernment?
