Do you think we will bath in the kingdom ?
do angels bath ?
Does God bath ?
What is this madness? I don't know. It doesn't matter. There would be no need to bathe but maybe we would because it's refreshing. You're like a female version of Isdaniel.

If you want to argue, perhaps start your own thread where you can use your weak argument. This was a positive thread up until you chimed in.

I swear, its like some Christians think you have to make people unhappy to look spiritual.

i never twist the scripture telling persons to wera makeup to feel beautiful is insecure
sin has cause all this

does make up nourishes the skin or just a mask ?

This logic is priceless. With this logic, you're saying that it's bad to have something on earth just because it won't be in heaven. Newsflash: cars won't be in heaven either...but it's not a sin to own them. Animals won't be in heaven...but there is no sin to own a pet.

I'm done with this thread...I don't know why I started. Some of the logic processes of some people are just...I don't understand.

Invading, thriving, ascaris whittles away

My poor, poor thread...

By the way...
If you ("you" being anyone that feels this way) personally feel that wearing makeup goes against scripture, then hey, guess what, don't wear it.
Out of respect and regards to the idea behind this thread could we return to the topic!

If people wish to start a thread about the Biblical points on makeup and caring what you look like feel free.
just my opinion but it's kinda rude to discuss that here where people are posting and being open about there concerns with looks.
i checked three times and this thread is not in the Bible discussion forum.
rember what Christ taught us and be mindful of others with love.

Sorry if this came across as rude but I have people I care about here who have posted pictures and opened themselves up. They don't need to hear anyone misquoting scripture to say why they shouldn't wear makeup.
the scripture doesn't say that and it's blasphumy to say it does. Don't think you can change God's word.
if you want to debate it go start a thread where that belongs.
everyone on CC can look back I'm considerate and nice when people discuss scripture but I'm not going to be when attacking my sisters with false doctrine.
if you feel God tells you makeup is evil I suggest you don't read about it either and get lost.

All those who shared openly your before and after pics disregard anyone who abuses scripture to justify their intolerance

Jesus sees you with or without makeup.

Jesus sees you at your best, and at your worst.

He knows when you sleep, and when you rise. He knows your heart and where it's at.

And He loves you regardless.

God doesn't care about the looks, He cares about your HEART, and your relationship with Him.

I'm not giving this as an excuse to neglect your looks or personal hygiene (because, ew), or to dress immodestly.

I'm saying because I know there's insecure ladies on here looking at this, and that there's also ladies on here who are looking at this, believing that makeup is against Scripture (Rightly or wrongly? Don't care). I want it to be crystal clear, God loves you with or without makeup. There's no condemnation for those who wear makeup, or those who don't. Because in Christ Jesus, THERE IS NO CONDEMNATION. :) If God convicts you about wearing makeup, then simply stop wearing it.

For those in Christ Jesus, the love of God is not limited.

We might not need certain things in the Kingdom of God, and there definitely won't be certain things in Heaven, such as internet, or TVs, or pastries. Does that make them all bad? No, not necessarily. But if you do wrong with these things, such as look at stuff you shouldn't, watch an evil show, or overeat, these things do become wrong, and a sin.

It's all about whose hands these things are in. :) If they are in one of an evildoer, they will do evil. If they're in good hands, they too can be used to glorify the name of Jesus.

And people can do a whole lot worse in this world than putting on a little gloss and mascara.

I highly doubt there are baths in Heaven. Remember that it is a spiritual realm, not the physical realm which we're so used to. It would have different rules regarding temperature and such.

Estée Lauder, Mary Kay, Avon Resume Testing on Live Animals
Expanding their brand in China means these cosmetic giants must resume painful animal tests.

-> Estée Lauder, Mary Kay, Avon Resume Testing on Live Animals | TakePart

"The grim underside of the so-called beauty industry is exemplified by the draize test. Endless rows of white albino rabbits (although other species, including dogs, are used) are restrained and fully conscious as so-called "technicians" pour test substances into their eyes, or apply them to raw, shaved skin. These chemicals are left in the eyes or on the skin for a set amount of time and then rinsed or removed. The animals, however, remain imprisoned for up to two weeks as their reactions are recorded. Hemorrhaging? Adema? Blindness? Ulcers? It's all in the name of perfume, mascara, and other products of human vanity."

Ps 119:37 Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity; [and] quicken thou me in thy way.

Prov 30:7-9 Two [things] have I required of thee; deny me [them] not before I die: Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me: Lest I be full, and deny [thee], and say, Who [is] the LORD? or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the name of my God [in vain].
