Dont tell anyone about obeying God's word! I read how you responded to my sister in Christ, when she asked you questions.

practice fellowship and love, lead others to Christ then come back and share your thoughts on obedieance to God.

If we love God we will be obedient not to recieve salvation but out of love and love alone. To be obedient out of fear of damnation is no big thing, anyone can follow the law to keep from being in trouble. I don't speed cause I don't want a ticket, not because I love the courts and their law.

Be obedient to God out of love for Him. Salvation however is by His grace not by following His laws.

Hello to all my brothers and sisters in Christ God bless you all and peace be unto Okay so I have been looking at this thread and one other pertaining to this very topic, which seems to be about The Law(Ten Commandments), and from my brief overview it seems to be two mind sets, one agreeing that the Moral Law aka Ten commandments are still set in place, meaning God wants us to obey them, and on the other hand, or other mind set, the Law, that is the Moral law, is done away with and we are freed in Christ. Is this correct? and if so it is a simple way to have a conclusion among the confusion, Gods Word because it is truth! amen to that, so what I would propose is that Each persons from each mind set present evidence based upon the word of God and we all come together collectively guided by the Spirit of truth to see what thus saith the Lord, I only speak because I would like to learn and grow as a christian but when we all are not on one accord we cannot walk together

Christ many times says He is the way to heaven one example is John 6:14

Again we should obey Him out of love not fear.

There is nothing done in Christ that is evil and nothing should be done without following His lessons.

All the don't listen to God if God gives law people!!! You can't even read and think about the law, it is appalling.

When Paul was given the commission to teach the gentiles, he was told that the thing to teach was law first, not gospel first and Paul really got upset. But as upset as Paul was, he did not say never listen to God!! Yet, here you guys are doing just that.

Josh, especially, and even wonderful young Alexis! It is as if you guys are at a dinner and you say if I have this part of the dinner, then that means that this other food item must be thrown out!!. God gives us spiritual food. It is all the same dinner. But it has to all be included. Christ is our main dish, but we are to fit every single one of the other foods in.

no one said the law is horrible, but for us the gentiles we are born to a sinful nature and God realize this so he send his son Jesus to died for us to find a different way for us to get connected to him.

I delight in the Law. But, how to fulfill it is the question.

I feel like I have been bullying my poor brother in Christ. He upset and was rude to my sister. I'm sure he has blocked me by now. I don't take back anything I said but should have said it nicer. Lesson learned, when Jesus says young lady chill... I handled it wrong.

I agree with you. We have the Spirit of adoption, not the spirit of fear.

We, in reality, follow Him because He is our Shepherd on the path leading to God.

He knows the way. So let us die to our flesh for our righteousness and become alive to our spirit, so that through His Spirit, we can walk the path He has set before us, the path of love. The same love which He Himself showed while on Earth.
