OK - didn't go to church...had a coughing fit, been fighting a cold for several days. Had a coughing fit during the performance yesterday which was kind of embarrassing...my only tacet, the Arabian Dance....lots of cool double reed stuff....the quietest piece in the entire ballet...except when that idiot french horn player who forgot his Ricola is hacking up a lung..,

Gonna make myself some oatmeal and lemon tea...maybe more chicken soup. :(

Going to church, then the final Nutcracker performance. I checked in during an intermission of one of the shows yesterday and got upset because I was missing a music geek discussion on augmented 6th chords. Oh well, another time, I suppose. :D
I got schooled. :p Though it was VERY interesting to read what Shour had to say. And he wrote it in a way that wasn't completely confusing! Yay me! :D (Sorry, when I know I'm being a blonde, I like to act like London from the Suite Life of Zack and Cody)

Just got around to watching this. It was very lovely. :) Wonderful job! And I don't just go around saying that. They truly do have potential, I think. :)

I wasn't sure what to expect, since I'm still scarred by my local high school's Chamber Ensemble ATTEMPTED to do "Call Me Maybe." *shudder* Everything. Was wrong. Tempo was too fast, one or two of the violins' were sharp, and I couldn't even watch it the entire way through. >.< I won't put the link out here because it was so bad.

Ugly Christmas Sweater season - The time where you can say, "You look hideous!" and not feel bad about it....and the person will reply, "Thank you!"

And if it makes you look fat, the sweater is doing its job.

Hmmm, maybe, going to school for music is the wrong idea, you should put your skills to work in a little different way, littleChristone :)

Apparently, despite being a drop-out, I am invited to my class reunion in August.
*sigh*
I think I'm actually gonna go.

In other news...isn't it supposed to be like...fun...to decorate for Christmas?

You're a lot of fun, mizcriss and that time will be a lot of fun for all had :)
I've been to mine and they are always a time of reflection and things, and, God works, too, which is the best of all fun reasons to go to class reunions :)

The Lord leads.

I don't know what exactly brought you up to say that (and I am pitch perfect. The movie was awful.), if it's wrong for me, then I guess I'll have to figure that out when I get to college. But right now, I do believe it would be best to further my abilities, and I want to do music ministry. It's been a goal of mine to go into it since I was 15. I feel like I'm almost there, and I'm not stopping now. Not until God tells me to stop.

I'm saying you would be a good judge for a show like The Voice, littleChristone; do not pass 'go,' go straight to the big-time because you have a good ear for judging the sounds of music, milady :)

Hmm, that reminds me, there's 'The Voice' and now 'The Sing-off,' so, I wonder if there would be some new show like 'Band-off' or something. I'm not sure if the average tv viewer could delineate the sounds of a band , but, I don't understand all the nuances of 'Dances with Stars,' and, that shows gone on forever, so, wouldn't surprise me if that becomes some new network music show.

So, if you like music shows, that might be one more cool way to do one :)

Sorry that I said that all last post confusing, littleC: I was totally complimenting yuh :)

pitch perfect was not a great plot, good, maybe. I agree, could have done more with it.
But, the music part of it was good, the best part was when that girl did that song with the cups here :)

I'm sure, ya can do that too :)

Oooh okay. :) Unfortunately, you have to be someone well-known to be a judge on the Voice! Boooo...
