The church has been given instructions on what to do with those who continue to be in disobedience to God’s Word.
1Cor 5:11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man this is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortion; with such a one no not to eat.
1Cor 5:12 For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?
1Cor 5:13 But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.

When we allow those to remain within the congregation who are willfully disobedient to God’s Word then it starts corrupting the whole lump. And those who are weak within the faith are lulled away from the truth. Remember a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump? Are we not seeing a lot of people who claim to be Christian saying to other Christians that God made me this way? This is a ploy of Satan plain and simple.
How many times on this forum have we seen those who say they are Christian defending those who commit such things? And how many times do we see threads like this one being discussed when God’s Word is very clear on this matter?
To allow those who defiantly disobey God’s Word to remain within the congregation the church becomes blemished. And if the church becomes blemished then how is it to be presented to our Lord a glorious church, holy?

Homwardbound do you believe that those who continue to be in willful disobedience to God’s Word should remain within the congregation after they have received the knowledge of truth?

God just love you and all the same, no respect of persons as anyone better than the other.

and walk righteously

I know that the Lord does not accept homosexuality. He tells us many times not to engage in homosexual behavior.

All scripture below is KJV

Lev 18:22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination. (Here the Lord is speaking to Moses)

Lev 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. (Again, he is speaking to Moses)

The Lord has told Moses twice now that it is an abomination. Him saying a law once is important, but Him telling it twice shows it's very important that no one defile the law with the iniquity of homosexuality.
