The verses forbidding worship of trees clearly points to the worship of idols carved from wood, not Christmas trees.
if you were a part of Yahweh covenant ratified in Yahshua's blood you would have Yahweh's TORAH/LAW/INSTRUCTIONS in your heart.

So, Mary wakes up one day pregnant while still pure, her fiancé doesn't give up on her even though he is not the father when women are stoned to death for being unwed and pregnant; when Mary meets Elizabeth, the babies know each other without a single birth taking place yet; Mary and Joseph travel by donkey to Bethlehem, and there isn't a single place to stay; three men who don't know each other, who happen to all be following a star meet at the stable; then there is the fact that someone wants to kill this baby, already; but the little family escapes this after Jesus is born. And you don't want to celebrate THAT?

celebrating that is beatiful, but I will not do it with babylonian religion pasted over the top of it,, especially when it (this exact babylonian practice) is condemmed in Scripture.
No I will not worship or celebrate the Messiah the way satan tells the world to, I will do it the way Yahweh tells me to.
Yahweh has ordained 7 Holy Days the 100% lay out the entire works of Messiah Yahshua 1st and 2nd coming.
but im the one who is wrong in PEOPLES MINDS, crazy world, but im ok with that.
With pagan symbols and practices that are an affront to God? Why doesn't He tell us when He was born? Why doesn't He tell us how to celebrate His birth? Why doesn't the Bible even mention the Apostles celebrating xmas?
Yet He devotes a whole chapter telling us what to celebrate, Lev 23 and how many celebrate the Feasts of the LORD? The days He celebrated and tells us to?

Barring the bit about there being a donkey, three wise men, and them meeting at the stable (those are traditions, nothing more), this post is very good!

Every church I have been in has put on a Christmas production, pageant, or play in which the main objective is to preach the gospel. I have sung in these productions, and played in the orchestra. I have seen many people go forward and accept Christ as a result of these Christmas celebrations, properly tied in with the pastor explaining the meaning of the gospel.
I also taught Christmas carols in public school, and then taught these children (many from pagan religions) what the words meant, and who Jesus was. I always ended by reading the Bible story to the kids. Just planting seeds in this case, but better these children, who I found out do celebrate a hybridized Christmas, learn the truth of the gospel.
(Example: Sikh children who go to temple in the morning, then come home and open their presents under the Christmas tree. These children were 10-12 and did not know who Jesus was, or what the meaning of Jesus coming to earth was about. Sad to think it probably isn't allowed these days, even in Canada!)
If we are to fulfill the Great Commission, Christmas to me provides amazing doors to preach the gospel, especially to those who literally have never heard the name of Jesus before.
The legalism on this thread is really inappropriate and I pray God convicts these people of the great harm they are doing for the cause of Christ.

I never said I celebrate Christmas or any other Holiday. I celebrate Christ's finished work for me, and I do not stand in the way of others
And yes God is only worshipped in Spirit and truth. nom flesh can ever please God and I know this, not everyone else knows this, and each of us has their understanding and many times mine and others truths are changed into God's truth that sets and keeps then free
Fro the truth sets one free yes? so error any error puts one in bondage correct?

not from the tribe of Levites where the Law of Moses was given, and no priest was to be from any other tribe.
So either we believe God through Christ that God did send Christ for us to redeem us and by the death we are redeemed and saved by the life the resurrected one in the Spirit or not
