Could someone anywhere tell me in all the threads about the law in Bible discussion what law are they talking about  The Ten Comandments ? Or all the OT laws from the part of The Bible which the Jewish faith calls the Torah?
Hiya Buckeths. The firsth five books of the bible are called the Torah and they were all written by Moses - well exthcept for that lasth one, Deut....Deuther.....Deuterono......Deuteronomy (have trouble with that one) which talks about Mosesth death which, of course, would have been a little more difficult for Moses to write (can't really put it by him though if you know what I mean ). Anyway, Genethsis which means "in the beginning" followed by Exodus which means "names" which of course is where the 10 commandments were esthablished, then Levi....Leviti.......Leviticus which means "and He called", then Numbers and justh when you think you know what one of these books mean, you're wrong! because it means "in the wilderness" and finally, Deut....Deut....well, you know. Thoooo, basthically, you're correct! The OT laws in their very basthic form do originate with the Torah through the 10 commandments and derivatives thereof. Priestly laws and rituals and tho on are esthablished in Levi....Leviti...........Leviticus.....whew.

I really should get up and get ready. I have lots of fun errands to run like getting my oil changed, laundry, more laundry, rearranging my mother's living room AGAIN because the woman is almost impossible to please.

Forgive me for whining. I'm uncaffinated.

There's a reason that I used to write in a journal so frequently. I had thought I was done with that "nonsense" (not that I think it's really nonsense, I was just having a um...you know, moment), I had thought I didn't need that kind of outlet anymore...but apparently, if I don't let the words out often enough, they just burst out anyway, at bad times, to the wrong people.

Anyway, so last night, in a rare moment all by my big girl self in the Jeep, I heard a song I never really cared for in the past, and the words kinda really caught my attention...and imagination...

I am unwritten, can't read my mind, I'm undefined
I'm just beginning, the pen's in my hand, ending unplanned

Staring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words that you could not find

Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your inhibitions
Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
The rest is still unwritten

Oh, oh, oh

I break tradition, sometimes my tries, are outside the lines
We've been conditioned to not make mistakes, but I can't live that way

A few thoughts:

I was pretty upset last night. I mean, I washed the dishes and didn't dance. :p It wasn't so much the fact that this particular guy doesn't like me in that way. He's a great guy and who he's interested in is who he's interested in and I shouldn't fret about that. It was just that this is how it goes 100% of the time, and yet every time it starts over, I let myself go there. I just gotta nip it in the bud, in a non-bitter-but-still-open way.

Oh my goodness you people on CC (especially your message, MissCriss) are great. Your messages are very touching, and I treasure them. :) Thank you all. Pipp, that's how I feel, and then I had a little bit of a conversation last night with God that went something like this...

Me: I hung out with prettier girls yesterday and I saw who the guys looked at. It was high school all over again. I am not beautiful.
God: And who told you that?
Me: Well...no one said it. I can just tell.
God: And? Do they know you like I do?
Me: Well...no. But-
God: I am telling you that you are beautiful, loved, precious and My daughter. You don't believe Me? You believe people who don't know you?

So, yeah. It was pretty...direct. Eye-opening.

Going for another massage tonight. I don't know what's up with my body, it's all out of sorts. Perhaps I can trade in for a newer model

I did some Christmas shopping at the mall, I hardly ever go to the mall, so when I go there is always a store that has closed. So most of the store at our mall are new to me. Except for the standby's like BonTon, Macy's, JcPenney, etc.

A very interesting store caught my eye today, AS SEEN ON TV!!!! Holy cow it's the mother load of all the crap I want to try. AWESOME... I think it's just through Christmas, but if I want to I could buy a Chillow, Plaque Buster (for cats) a Wax Vac, an amplified hearing product. A Comfy Cushion, something that picks up pet hair, a Tummy Stuffer, something for arthritis. Oh the stuff I could buy. I held back, I love trying stupid stuff advertised on TV.

Have you ever noticed how people in infomercials cannot perform the most basic tasks?

Yes I have Servant Strike. In the nineties there was this infomercial for some device that helped you tie your shoes. I doubt they sold many.

Did you know that cat meowing is solely directed towards humans and not other animals? They communicate thru scent and language with other animals, but not meowing. That language is for humans.

Cat language:

Short meow or mew: Standard greeting. “Hello!”
Multiple meows or mews: Excited greeting. “Great to see you!”
Mid-pitch meow: Plea for something. “I’d like to eat.”
Drawn-out mrrroooow: Demand for something. “Open the door. NOW.”
Low-pitch MRRRooooowww: Complaint of a wrong you have done. “Hey—why’s my bowl still empty?”
High-pitch RRRROWW!: Anger or pain. “That’s my TAIL you just stepped on!”

YES.

"Oh NO! I can't figure out how to use this blanket and read at the same time!! If only it had SLEEVES"
This was funny
:)

But seriously, blankets are highly technological devices... show some love.

Thanks for the rebuke, Maxwel. you're right. I'll.. I'll go pray about my pride and try to be more compassionate to those who struggle with all the challenges presented by blankets. ( ._.)

I don't have anyone from CC on ignore. I don't really fall into drama much. I did once, but the person was gone within a few days. Is it odd not to have anyone on ignore?
