If you two had no relationship history or marriage of any sort then there should be nothing wrong with being friends; especially with the population we have. Now, if you have kids or you were once married that is when the confusion comes in. I think you may be in too much of a rush and from my experience rushing into relationships or physical encounters is really not worth it in the end. So I say move on and make use of that new friendship you made.

To add, maybe God has not given you your true love yet because there are still things you need to change or fix about yourself.

This friggin' takes the cake, dawg

This ends it all.
GreenNnice, don't you turn on me too! haha ;)

M'kay, okay. I think I'm getting there.

All three :) Just the kind of guy I am.
I'm not turning on you, artyiste, not in the least bit, just speaking the Truth, and, namely, what the Truth would do. And, maybe, the pictures like the above are true of girl's personality, as a whole, toward 'nice guys.' And, i'm not saying they are true, I'm saying , if they are and it IRRITATES you, just go to God for answers, bro. :) A girl categorizing you should be of no concern to you, although, sure, the Earthly consequence of that given situation may be that you don't get that girl. And, good, God has someone else for you, do you want someone who is not liking you in a way that you want to be liked ?

No, you don't want that kind of girl for your personality, you want a girl who likes Godly guys.

Don't care about those things of 'nice.'

Because.

Because, that's not what Jesus would care about. And, He wouldn't do things to disparage women, in any way, shape, or, form. Pun intended.

God loves you and you follow Him in your life and don't worry about the occasional rejection from a girl that comes your way cuz you're too nice, cuz. Cuz, God will, eventually, give you a girl, IF it's His desire for you, that is. And, delighting yourself in Him will lead you to be getting the desires of your heart, even BETTER desires than you can conjure in your own mind, for He knows the plans for you. Seek Him. Jer. 29:11 Psalm 37:4 The Lord leads. :)

I completely get where you're coming from, and appreciate what you have to say.

I do have to respectfully disagree in one of your statements, though.
And, He wouldn't do things to disparage women, in any way, shape, or, form.
Unfortunately, this is much of the philosophy held by men and of course by women, for women tend to be very prideful creatures. If you will look carefully, I never, in no way, ever disparage women and good femininity; what I am against is bad behavior, sinful habits, and grievous attitudes which seems to be in the minds of every single woman today, so far as I've noticed. But when I read my Bible, I read of a different woman, a better lady, a more wonderful female, which I desire with all of my heart.

I personally feel that there is an unfortunate culture of unwise women in this generation, and this foolishness is deeply rooted.

I'm still hopeful, though, as I've said; I know that there must be a remnant, and I want one of them; as jewels among gravel, I desire God's best for my life, and I've been assured of His love for me, to provide for all of my needs, and He promises to give me the desires of my heart.

God bless you, my friend!

No, Jesus didn't say any things in Scripture, ever, to disparage women, in any way, shape, or, form. He does not want us to do so, therefore, either, artyiste.

Sure, you are trying to get women to recognize nice Christian guys, and, proposing they take a good look in the mirror for putting great 'friends,' who take their time getting to know you, into the dreaDed friendZONE! I get that.

But, when the ladies begin to get mad at you in your thread because you are either hitting to close to home or just plain stereotyping all ladies this way and they reject that, then, I guess, the Lord leads, but, you have to decide if you want to continue to disparage them or do what Jesus would do.

What Jesus did on Earth was simple, regarding women, He Loved them, adored them, cried, even, when one accosted Him for letting her brother (Lazarus) die. Jesus cared deeply for women, and, there reactions to His work was extra-ordinary, recorded in the pages of the bible. This, by the way, is where shortest bible verse is, 'Jesus wept.'

Women are 'the weaker vessel,' per Scripture, so, treat them with respect, care, and, most importantly, Love, as He would want you to do.

It's OK to state an opinion, that is truth, of that sex/gender, in some respects. But, be compassionate, don't keep on keeping on berating their kind, that God made them like they are--women--, with non-stop posting of pictures, and, also, this is not a salvation issue, but using the word 'friggin,' is an un-Christian thing to do, bro. Regardless of context, it's just never a word that you should be seen with, so to speak; remember, you are His and you are a witness of His . OK? :)

Re: "Now Ladies, Make Sure You Put That Nice Guy That's Interested In The Friendzone!

It's funny, you say I'm the one deceived yet I'm not the one whining in three different threads about how its impossible for me to find a woman, because somehow the 3.5 billion women in the world just don't see me for the shining paragon of masculinity I really am?

Get real, the reason you are single, is because no one wants to date someone who desperately clings to the lie of being a nice guy when in actuality you're desperate and probably a door mat. If you were 'nice' you wouldn't have a problem. But you're probably creepy is more honest. "hey uh, excuse me, but I saw your boyfrined just broke up with you, need someone to talk?, like on a date?" This is something I can imagine you doing.
It's funny, you say I'm the one deceived yet I'm not the one whining in three different threads about how its impossible for me to find a woman
haha And deceived people don't tend to "whine", because they're in a blissful ignorance.

because somehow the 3.5 billion women in the world just don't see me for the shining paragon of masculinity I really am
I'm sorry that you've misunderstood me. I will not take the time to correct this false view, though, because I see no profit in doing so.

Get real,
Okay; I'm real now.

the reason you are single, is because no one wants to date someone who desperately clings to the lie of being a nice guy when in actuality you're desperate and probably a door mat.
Aww haha You are deceived! You believe so many lies about me. A niceguy life is lived, and not talked; this is an axiom of mine. And if I'm desperate, I'm as desperate as anyone else who sees no future with any girl because I'm labeled a nice guy by them, and etc. And I don't really consider myself a doormat, only because I tend to struggle with submitting to authority and submission. I'm doing really good when it comes to this, though. Plus, I really feel more like Job when it comes to all of this; and, now, would you call him a doormat? If you would, then let me know so I can Ignore you.

If you were 'nice' you wouldn't have a problem.
False.

But you're probably creepy is more honest.
I'm sorry that I had to read this. You, sir, are not wise; you are a scornful man that wishes to tear me down, and now I see no reason to continue.

May the God of all mercy give you wisdom, and renew your mind.

Sure, I completely agree. In no way am I holding manhood as superior in morality and intellect (as I've seen commentators do), and both men and women are afflicted with the influence of sin.

You repeat yourself, so all I can answer is that I truly wish for you to look back to my answer from before.

I'm glad that you have understood what my intentions have been. It has never been my intention to hurt, but, as you've said, if I have hit them close to home (I like to use the term, hit their blind spots), then any soreness that will serve them to repent is perfectly acceptable. To answer simply your second charge: I was not stereotyping all women, but merely bringing in what I viewed was wrong in women (spoken in general, and not including every single woman alive).

What Jesus did on Earth was simple, regarding women, He Loved them, adored them, cried, even, when one accosted Him for letting her brother (Lazarus) die.
This is very true, and I will begin praying about what you're telling me here, and seeking more knowledge about this.

Jesus cared deeply for women, and, there reactions to His work was extra-ordinary, recorded in the pages of the bible. This, by the way, is where shortest bible verse is, 'Jesus wept.'
Yes, this is very true. The truth is, He cares for all unconditionally, whether man or woman.

Women are 'the weaker vessel,' per Scripture, so, treat them with respect, care, and, most importantly, Love, as He would want you to do.
This is very interesting. I must treat them as the weaker vessel ... huh.

It's OK to state an opinion, that is truth, of that sex/gender, in some respects. Please, I never berated anyone; all of my actions were directed towards incorrect attitudes which I have noticed. If this was in the part of the men, then to the men would they be directed. God commands that we should not show respect of persons and genders.

And so I completely understand you, and agree with you, but I will ever be relentless towards what I hate to see in women, and in men. I will attack it until I feel that I'm in the wrong in continuing so, or until my knuckles are too bloody to continue.

The wife is the weaker vessel in a marriage relationship per 1 Peter 3:7, artyiste, that's what I meant, plus, it's well known that Eve was deceived by the serpent, which was a sin. But, sin did not enter the world until Adam willfully sinned by taking the fruit from Eve when he was not deceived at all, he was simply smug and thought that she'd already take the blame for eating the apple and he's be off scot-free. Weeel, that didn't happen, did it? When the man blamed Eve, it was then that God carried out his condition for man, woman, serpent, in Gen. 3:14-19.

I didn't repeat myself either, I said that Jesus didn't disparage women, THEREFORE, YOU SHOULD NOT EITHER. I ADDED something :)

Yes, true, God loves everyone, in fact, he "Loves" everyone, with a love that we should strive to obtain in our own lives, because loving someone in a human way is not with the spirit, it's with the flesh. Thus, we should be crucified with Christ, seeking to implant His 'Love' with others. Are you loving the ladies on c.c. by continuously lambasting them with this 'nice guy' mentality gripe ?????

If we can house these 'Love' philosophies in our heart, which is where His Spirit is in us, per Scripture, then, we can then, and, ONLY THEN, begin to understand what kind of gentleness God wants us to have toward women in our speaking out about their tendencies when choosing which men to date. A nice guy or not a nice guy, well, a Christian girl is going to consult God, this should be your hope and prayer for them, artyiste.
Your words can be a little edgy , as that is OK for a POST OR TWO, it shows girls on here that you care. But, when you become accusatory and saying that you 'hate' that trait in women of liking nice guys for friends over and over, it's nothing more than disparaging.

it is just going to both dismay them, not to mention, turn them off more and more and, pretty soon, you will so much of a troll in their 'book,' that they will see your threads as a bridge with only ugliness underneath and won't dare "cross" into your waters.

But, be certain, I WILL, and, I will butt you but good, if you continue to disparage miladies on c.c. too much more.
By the way, your biblical way of starting out a relationship is a good thread idea.
Like rel said, you seem to be an 'intelligent' guy, so, us your talents for his glory and bloodying your knuckles of a topic that just makes women feel bad and worse and worse is not anything more than abusive. You don't want to be abusive, do you :(

... sigh. I actually thought that we could be friends, but it seems that I'm all alone on this website. haha It's alright! I've always been alone when it comes to fighting for what's right, and I will persevere with the help & the grace of God!

Now then, to answer promptly: I find your use of the Adam and Eve account to what we were discussing as irrelevant. And I must say that I somewhat disagree with your interpretation of the account of the fall. It's a very interesting view, but I disagree with it, and your use of it here.

I didn't repeat myself either, I said that Jesus didn't disparage women, THEREFORE, YOU SHOULD NOT EITHER. I ADDED something :)
And I never did either; I've made it clear that I came against what I viewed as unfortunate behavior on the part of women (of course, I could never mean all women, and anyone who thought I did thought so to the purpose of holding me in a bad light); I've already made it clear that, in men and women, I will always be against what I view as wrong, and I there should be no respect of persons with my judgment.

Are you loving the ladies on c.c. by continuously lambasting them with this 'nice guy' mentality gripe ?????
Now now, this is quite the loaded question. But I answer that I never personally lambasted any woman here, and that my view that nice guys are finishing last is not a personal rebuke to anyone; I never targeted any woman here, yet if any felt sore or grieved because of it, then they can answer for themselves, as I am not responsible for their emotions. If I helped any woman to give up the belittling of nice guys (when it comes to them seeking a husband) for the "bad boy" (of which I've spoken of in my other threads), then I am content with all that I've done. My conscience is clear; I have not sinned against any.

If we can house these 'Love' philosophies in our heart, which is where His Spirit is in us, per Scripture, then, we can then, and, ONLY THEN, begin to understand what kind of gentleness God wants us to have toward women in our speaking out about their tendencies when choosing which men to date.
I understand, but remember, none of what I've said was meant for any of them personally. Now, if any woman had reached out personally and desired my opinion of the matter more perfectly, then of course I would be meek, as every Christian should. Except, I did not meet with any such disposition in the women, but only the harshness of which you accuse me; many of them insulted me, spoke little of me, foolishly analyzed me (their intention was to poison the well), and were quite mean; not all, of course; some were very nice and respectful, considerate and kind (my favorite kind of gal); to these did I reciprocate the same, and to the others I answered directly but respectfully.

A nice guy or not a nice guy, well, a Christian girl is going to consult God, this should be your hope and prayer for them, artyiste.
They will, but, admittedly, many will consult their flesh; what they consider to be the voice of God is actually their female intuition, which is as lustful and carnal as the way we think, GreenNnice. This, I've managed to catch from experience; I have not been in a cave, willingly separate from woman for the past 24 years; I know how they think and consider men. Again, not all, but many.

Your words can be a little edgy , as that is OK for a POST OR TWO, it shows girls on here that you care. But, when you become accusatory and saying that you 'hate' that trait in women of liking nice guys for friends over and over, it's nothing more than disparaging.
I'm sorry you feel that way, but I don't. And of course there's nothing wrong in them being friends; that was not my point-- my point was in pointing out a wrongful view of nice guys among women, in particular Christian women, who carry over the traits of their worldly counterparts and see it as fine; it is not fine, and a true Christian woman will think and consider with a renewed mind, higher and holier than what worldly females feel.

it is just going to both dismay them, not to mention, turn them off more and more and, pretty soon, you will so much of a troll in their 'book,' that they will see your threads as a bridge with only ugliness underneath and won't dare "cross" into your waters.
Well, if they do that, then that's their problem. I cannot but speak what I feel to be the truth; to what my conscience is grieved with, I must disagree with, and act so, wouldn't you agree? Wouldn't you do the same? I believe you would; and if you wouldn't, then I cannot see eye to eye with you. Then let me follow the intimations of the will of God.

But, be certain, I WILL, and, I will butt you but good, if you continue to disparage miladies on c.c. too much more.
If you do, I will simply Ignore you. Personally, I feel that what the many things that the majority of women have said were not good answer at all, and neither have they purposed to do so (some did, and I am so thankful for them); their purpose was simply to stall the point with useless argumentative answers and complaints, and some with childish remarks and insults. No, I'm not quite done yet.

Again, I am not responsible for their emotions. But your whole view is quite discriminatory; you don't consider what any women do as bad (even if they insult me) but come at me like this? ... sigh. It's so sad that women now how to stick for their own, but men spend the best of their time attacking other men, trying to be the 'knight in shining armor' type to these women. Well, I am no knight; I am no hero, but I am only an adopted son of the living God, and by my Lord I am more than a conqueror. His love is greater than woman's love, and I will forever be faithful to Him in all things, and will never show respect of persons for anything.

I don't think anyone here is defending the actions of anyone who is shallow and vain, not sure where you got that idea from.

Art, what do you hope to accomplish out of all of this?

I didn't post that, Hisservantstriker, bro :) I completely believe that we guys need to stick up for and respect the ladies wishes if a thread's become a tough thing to read for them, with words said to incite ire from them.

That's not what Jesus wants them to have to feel, so, that's not what we guys should want them to feel, regardless of good intentions. And, I don't think artyiste is a troll, he is just speaking of things that are on his heart .

We should want to gain from threads in general is understanding and we are blessed that the ladies help us guys with learning things about ourselves, about them, from threads.

We surely don't want to engender a lack of response from the ladies on c.c. because we hurt their feelings, that means we are not being nice guys at all :)

Before we do anything in life, we should say ,even more so, pray that our words are laced with grace/mercy/ in such a way of WWJD. What Would Jesus Do ? :)

Oh my bad, I quoted him and he must have quoted you.

Sorry about that. No, you never posted that. As for sticking up for the ladies, I don't think I've ever seen someone you would not stick up for, which is showing the love of Christ in action!

Re: "Now Ladies, Make Sure You Put That Nice Guy That's Interested In The Friendzone!

It happens for many reasons... from my own experience, I think the lacks of attraction to someone, may it be physical or having no common interest at all. We are not made for everyone. We have different taste, likes, and desire for someone. And the sad thing about that is when we find that someone who we likes and long for, is either in a relationship or just doesn't find us attractive. The good thing about is, is that, There's many fish in the sea? Just kidding! ;) Well this verse is God's promise for his children, "Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart."

God bless.
