Thank you, I use it because the translation I got was "The Lord our righteousness", and "God is right" is also right. We have no righteousness of our own
This video is correct right up until the very end. The last part is wrong because the end of day 14 was day 15. There was no nighttime at the end of a Biblical day. The darkness of night was always at the beginning of each day, or start of the same day and there was no night at the end of any day. When the sun went down on the 14[SUP]th[/SUP], it was actually the 15[SUP]th[/SUP] and so on through day 17 including the beginning of the 18th day. 3 days and 3 nights in the tomb as Jonah was in the big fish. It would be better understood if we would say 3 nights and 3 days. The end of day 14 was day 15.

Third night day 17[SUP]th[/SUP] weekly Sabbath
There you have 3 nights
Last part of the first day 15[SUP]th[/SUP]
Last part of the second day 16[SUP]th[/SUP]

The end of day 17 was day 18 that began at sundown
The way the video ends up says that Jesus rose at the end of day 17[SUP]th[/SUP] day which actually is the beginning of the 18[SUP]th[/SUP] day. There is no “0” hour that lasts for a period of time. If we believe the last part of the video we would have to say that it was 3 complete nights, 2 complete days plus 1 incomplete day that Jesus was in the tomb. Compare these three scripture references,

Yes, their times were different! Our mornings in the USA anyway starts after Mid night, after 12Pm. That would mean that Saturday ends after Mid night and Sunday begins, right after. According to what is written their Sabbath (Saturday) ended round the break of day. But the other scriptures are plain he rose or he risen the third day which is the first day of the week.
Jesus said: "third day I shall be perfected", meaning he would be as he was before he was born of Mary in the flesh.

1. The purchase and preparation of the ointments. We are told in Mark 16:1 that the two Marys and Salome had purchased spices after the Sabbath with which to anoint Jesus’ body. We are told in Luke 23: 56 that they prepared the spices and then rested on the Sabbath with the idea of going to the grave site after the Sabbath was over. How could they have prepared the spices and then rested on the Sabbath if they didn’t even buy them until after the Sabbath was over?
The only answer that makes sense here—and that avoids a contradiction—is that there were two Sabbaths during the crucifixion week: a holyday Sabbath on Thursday and a weekly Sabbath on Saturday. .
The day in between, Friday, was used to both purchase and prepare the spices.
In John 19: 31 we read that Jesus body needed to be taken off the cross before sundown because the Sabbath approaching was an “high day,” or holy day (annual Sabbath). Moreover, we learn in verse 42 that Jesus’ body was placed in the tomb before sundown as well, again due to it being the preparation day for the upcoming Sabbath. Jesus was crucified on the Passover, and at sundown on the Passover (Nissan 14) began the first day of unleavened bread . . . which was a Sabbath.

Jesus was crucified and died on a Wednesday afternoon and His body removed from the cross because the annual Sabbath began at sundown, which was Thursday. After this Sabbath the women purchased and prepared the spices on Friday.
Then they rested on the weekly Sabbath (Saturday) according to the commandment, desiring to go to the tomb after it ended at sundown on Saturday. Remember that Jesus said not only that He would be in the heart of the earth three days and three nights, but that He would rise “on the third day,” which meant before the fourth day started.
From late afternoon on Wednesday to late afternoon on Saturday was “three days and three nights,” and also “on the third day.” Jesus rose from the dead late Saturday afternoon before sundown, that is, shortly before the beginning of the first day of the Hebrew week, and before the beginning of the Roman first day of the week:The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre. (Jn. 20: 1) . . . He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. (Mat. 28: 6)

Can I get saved, healed, delivered on a Tuesday. Yes I agree that we come together to worship God. But, can we do that on any day. Why did the Pharisees jar Jesus about healing on the sabbath. Why is it not repeated in the new and better covenant? Why did Jesus say at the last supper do this as often as you do it in remembrance of and set no date or time for it. I will tell you why, because people would place their faith in keeping that act and not what Jesus did on the cross. People are placing their faith on Sabbath keeping and the real thing and that is the cross. Thats why you have christians drinking and trying to justify it. Thats why you have christians in divorce and justifying it. Thats why you christians killing their babies and justifying it and so on and so on.

What is your reasoning for the scriptures saying, Jesus was risen early the first day of the week?
Mark 16:9. Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils.

This was because of the annual Passover celebration. The next three verse have to do with the weekly Sabbath, and what the women did between the annual Sabbath, and the weekly Sabbath. See post #1228 for calendar days

I get a kick out of people who are advocating the Mosaic Law, and the ones who negate the Mosaic Law. The law people are adamant that Jesus rose on the Sabbath day which wold have profaned the Sabbath, which would not complete 3 days and three nights in the tomb. There seems to be a contradiction in the Bible about that, but then we must rightly divide the Word of truth.

I'm caught, for I believe both are incorrect, yet in the past I have thought that both ways were right at different times in my life. I was never satisfied with either one. Now I am satisfied with the truth, for it makes sense and totally agrees with all scripture that I read from Genesis through Revelation. Even the 2 prophets killed and resurrected in Revelation were raise after three days. The completion of a 3 days period is written time after time throughout scripture, defining many scenarios, yet three days have spiritual meaning in every case. In Hebrew, the number 3, being the letter "gimal" means to gather together, and walk with the Divine completeness of perfection. This can only be done through The Mediator who broke down the division between God and those who believe.

Show me where that is in scripture. Luke 23:50-54 says no such thing, it says that the next day was a Sabbath. The question is what Sabbath?

The high day following the Passover is the First Day of Unleavened Bread...
Lev 23:4 These are the feasts of the LORD, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons.
Lev 23:5 In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is the LORD'S passover.
Lev 23:6 And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread unto the LORD: seven days ye must eat unleavened bread.
Lev 23:7 In the first day ye shall have an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.
This was Thursday, April 26, 31AD, the First Day of Unleavened Bread.
He was already risen...
Joh 20:1 The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre.
Joh 20:2 Then she runneth, and cometh to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and saith unto them, They have taken away the Lord out of the sepulchre, and we know not where they have laid him.
Still dark and He was already gone. He wasn't there. He did not rise on Sunday morning, He rose 72 hours after He was buried in the tomb. Right at/around sunset on the weekly Sabbath.

Are you saying the first day of the week is the sabbath? If you are going to Keep the Law you better be doing the sacrifices too. Galatians 5:1-4.
