[Act 19:26] ISV You also see and hear that, not only in Ephesus, but almost all over Asia, this man Paul has won over and taken away a large crowd by telling them that gods made by human hands are not gods at all.
If you teach that God Son Jesus was born on winter, and the other say He was born during the feast of the Jews who do you think is right? And who do you think is the true Jesus.
The one born on winter or on Jewish Feast day?
Certainly one is false and the other is true.
Islam believes in the miracle birth of Jesus but is not the Son of God.
Christian believes both.

Yes I agree it is not a good thing to sacrifice children by burning them alive at Christmas.
That is not the ONLY point if that passage, Yah says "they even" as if to say they go this far.
and modern christmas has a counterpart...
so they used to place thier 1st born in the glowing red hot hands of a statue of Molech, and then would place a evergreen branch beneath their nose, to not smell the burning flesh. Ezekiyl 8:17, "...For they have filled the land with violence, and they have returned to provoke Me to anger; for truly, they put the branch to their nose."
in modern times we hav an adaptation, the parent set their child in santas lap, he wears red because of Molech glow red hot... santa the gods childern pray to for presents, and are lied to about from their parents...
not to mention all the other things but we could go through each piece of christmas and expose it pagan origins.

Who said I teach that Jesus was born in the winter, it certainly was not I. I said, tell me when the heavy snows came that year, and I will know His birth happened prior to that, because the shepherds were still in the field with their flocks. No one knows for sure when His birth actually happened. Dec. 25th was NOT proclaiming this is the day He was born, it only proclaimed this is the day we will choose to celebrate whatever Day He was born.
I SAID THE DAY DOES NOT MATTER, IT IS THE REASON FOR CELEBRATING THAT MATTERS,
AND THAT THE WORSHIP AND CELEBRATION PURELY COMES FROM THE HEART.
Our entire focus and motive is on Jesus Christ, and the Good News that GOD created the baby in Mary's womb so that part of HIMSELF could enter that body, live a sinless life, and then die as the Ultimate Sacrifice for the sins of the World. THAT is what all of us genuine Christians are Celebrating at Christmas.

I am going to the shopping centre to see if Santa bursts into flames while speaking to a child. In this day and age children are not allow to touch Santa to prevent allegations of child molestation and paedophilia.

If Christmas fell on any other day, chances are there is going to be a pagan or occult ritual or event associated with it.
Christmas is a wonderful time of the year and a superb time to share the Gospel with people who may not be so ready to listen at other times of the year.
Put Christ back into Christmas, if every Christian abandond and rejected 25th December like you propose, then Christ would really be removed from Christmas, no more nativity, no more reading from the Bible about Christs birth, no more singing hymns about Christs birth, no more Christ, just commercialism and thats it.

I think we just found a point we can totally agree on. I think the Church should celebrate the 7 Feasts of Israel. Because Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of ALL SEVEN FEASTS. Messianic Christians and few other Congregations do celebrate them. But I think both should be celebrated, because like Paul we are to become all things for all men, so that we CAN reach out to the LOST and call them to Christ. Have you never seen a Christmas Contada with the Choir and Orchestra in a large Church that invites the Public to attend. WHAT A POWERFUL WITNESSING TOOL. And our Pastor always gave a short sermonette at the end explaining GOD's plan of Salvation in simple terms, because he knew a lot of People were in Church for the first time in their lives just to hear the music. Oh how I miss those Contadas, we had them on Resurrection Sunday too. We attend a much smaller church now. But we do have other outreach ministries, such as Caroling at the Senior Homes and Hospitals, and giving to the needy. You will not find any sour, grim faces at our Church at Christmas time, we see it as an opportunity to witness all the more, to make a few more disciples.

The Democrats want to remove Christianity from the Public eye and all public places. They take to the extreme something that Thomas Jefferson our Third President once said in a letter to a Church that wanted him to name a national Religion, where he stated that there was written into the Constitution an implied separation of Church and State. So the modern day Democrats take that and try to force the Removal of anything Christian from public places using it as a two way barrier. They took down the ten commandments from our school walls, banned prayer in schools, sue towns that put up Nativity Scenes on Public property, etc., etc. The Republicans who are mostly pro-Christians, and some Christian Lawyers are fighting to get back our Christian rights. I had heard a Pastor teach one time that they are anxious to take this fight back to the US Supreme Court, in another case, mainly because since that first loss they have found where Thomas Jefferson explained what he meant by that barrier. "While it is obvious that there is an implied barrier between Church and State, it is equally obvious that the barrier is a one way barrier forbidding government from becoming involved in the running of Churches, while protecting the rights of Christians to be involved in the running of government." So American Politics (Democrats vs. Republicans) can get a little volatile at times. But hey, I have watched the British Government in Session a few times on BBC, and it too can get quite entertaining. LOL.
