What's wrong with you? Putting a Smiley face at the end of talking about your god killing babies?

This is one of the reasons why I'll never be the same as you.

You should be ashamed.

My farther doesn't put sickness on anybody. He loves you me and the world that he sent his son for us. He gave his one sun up so he could have many.. God is love why would be put sickness on you or anybody or baby? Will you put sickness on your on child? I believe not. So why would God do this to us?
[h=3]Exodus 15:26[/h]King James Version (KJV)

26 And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee

It is in the OT He heals and I am sure He also punishes today

[h=3]Deuteronomy 32:39-42[/h]King James Version (KJV)

39 See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.
40 For I lift up my hand to heaven, and say, I live for ever.
41 If I whet my glittering sword, and mine hand take hold on judgment; I will render vengeance to mine enemies, and will reward them that hate me.
42 I will make mine arrows drunk with blood, and my sword shall devour flesh; and that with the blood of the slain and of the captives, from the beginning of revenges upon the enemy.

Ezekiel 18:14-20 (KJV) [SUP]14 [/SUP]Now, lo, if he beget a son, that seeth all his father's sins which he hath done, and considereth, and doeth not such like, [SUP]15 [/SUP]That hath not eaten upon the mountains, neither hath lifted up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, hath not defiled his neighbour's wife, [SUP]16 [/SUP]Neither hath oppressed any, hath not withholden the pledge, neither hath spoiled by violence, but hath given his bread to the hungry, and hath covered the naked with a garment, [SUP]17 [/SUP]That hath taken off his hand from the poor, that hath not received usury nor increase, hath executed my judgments, hath walked in my statutes; he shall not die for the iniquity of his father, he shall surely live. [SUP]18 [/SUP]As for his father, because he cruelly oppressed, spoiled his brother by violence, and did that which is not good among his people, lo, even he shall die in his iniquity. [SUP]19 [/SUP]Yet say ye, Why? doth not the son bear the iniquity of the father? When the son hath done that which is lawful and right, and hath kept all my statutes, and hath done them, he shall surely live. [SUP]20 [/SUP]The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.

[h=3]Deuteronomy 24:16[/h]King James Version (KJV)

16 The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own sin

[h=3]2 Kings 5:25-27[/h]King James Version (KJV)

25 But he went in, and stood before his master. And Elisha said unto him, Whence comest thou, Gehazi? And he said, Thy servant went no whither.
26 And he said unto him, Went not mine heart with thee, when the man turned again from his chariot to meet thee? Is it a time to receive money, and to receive garments, and oliveyards, and vineyards, and sheep, and oxen, and menservants, and maidservants?
27 The leprosy therefore of Naaman shall cleave unto thee, and unto thy seed for ever. And he went out from his presence a leper as white as snow.

He rebuked them because he called them to love. Owe no man but to love..
[h=3]Acts 13:6-12[/h]King James Version (KJV)

6 And when they had gone through the isle unto Paphos, they found a certain sorcerer, a false prophet, a Jew, whose name was Barjesus:
7 Which was with the deputy of the country, Sergius Paulus, a prudent man; who called for Barnabas and Saul, and desired to hear the word of God.
8 But Elymas the sorcerer (for so is his name by interpretation) withstood them, seeking to turn away the deputy from the faith.
9 Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him.
10 And said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?
11 And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand.
12 Then the deputy, when he saw what was done, believed, being astonished at the doctrine of the Lord.

I've yet to see any sort of evidence for miraculous healing. It's also a strange coincidence that god can't heal things that medicine can't either.

Why can't he cure AIDS or Down Syndrome? Or even grow back an amputated limb?

He only seems to have the same healing powers as a Doctor.
Firstly, there are different kinds of 'illnesses' in our world. There are physical illness, mental illness and spiritual illness.
There's also different causes, such as generational iniquity, demonic influence, trauma, accidents, sin.
You mentioned AIDS, this is can be due to physical blood transfusions, or from sexual sin. For all sin has a consequence. Unfortunately sometimes it's the person who has been sinned against that suffers (eg rape victims).
You mentioned Downs Syndrome. This is a genetic, physical thing. It's not a curse of God. I know a guy who was born with the umbilical cord round his neck. The lack of oxygen caused damage to his brain, and though he is physically 29, he is mentally about 5. We don't live in a perfect world. The thing is, that when he gets to Heaven, he will have a new body. Something to look forward to.
Like I mentioned before, rape victims suffer as a consequence of some one else's sin. It's not just a physical thing, but emotional and spiritual. The body heals a lot faster than the spirit and emotions. And (with personal experience) it's a lot of forgiveness, and allowing themself time to grieve and express the emotions involved. God does heal.
It's like the story in the Bible about the lame man. Jesus said to him, 'your sins are forgiven - get up and walk' and he did! Sin is crippling.
Generational sins are real - have you ever met someone who's grandfather was an alcoholic, who's father was an alcoholic, and they were struggling with alcohol as well. In Exodus, it mentions that the sins of the fathers would be passed to the 3rd and 4th generation. This is true for things like witch craft and the occult. The thing is, that we need to forgive our ancestors for the things that they did wrong, and ask God to sever any un-godly ties that run down the generational line - asking that anything that has come through those lines would be taken, and anything stolen from self, to be returned.
It's something that the church (on a whole) doesn't pay a lot of attention to. And those who do, are over-the-top, to the point that they are weird/annoying.
Jesus spent 3 years teaching his disciples. He showed them His power, he taught them to use that power and authority, then told them to go forth, healing the sick and casting out demons. What would've been the point, if it wasn't needed any more? What would be the point if once Jesus died and rose, that everything was fine.
Also, the Bible says to put on the Armour of God (breast plate of righteousness, belt of truth, footgear of readiness from the gospel of peace, helmet of salvation, the shield of faith and the sword of the spirit) for the enemy is not of the flesh, but of the spiritual realm.
We live in physical bodies, which can be injured, and sick. But the real sickness is that of the spirit.

There's people out there that can drink poison and have no affects. There's people who can walk on burning hot plates and not get burned. Why because they know something we don't know. Just like I know I don't have to be sick.. We all grow up into God. . We all excel in areas

This is where God said my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge

Did you see Daniel and them jumping in all kinds of lion den because God would and could protect them

That scripture deals with situations that comes upon us like Paul going for wood and the snakes bite him

let me give and example
2 Kings 4:40So they poured out for the men to eat. And it came to pass, as they wereeating of the pottage, that they cried out, and said, O thou man of God, there is death in the pot. And they could not eat thereof.

not as some baptise and tribes do there rituals and quoting the bible to support their evil deeds
