so basically you are calling the Cmmands that come from the mouth of Yahweh or those that teach and follow them are Babylon, you are on dangerous ground here.
You have to ask, in respect of every command, what is the reason for it?

If the only purpose is for justification, then it's not obligatory. If the purpose is sanctification, then OK.

Your failure to distinguish the outward rituals of the law, from the spiritual command to work out salvation, is your issue.

We can all appreciate that a 7th day of rest is good, without going overboard about it.

Are your you sure that by keeping Sabbath glorifies God or yourself. It is a fine line. Well I go to church and these heathen don't, but Christ died for them as well. What happens to your theology when an evil and vile man who never set foot in church, but on his death bed a preacher visits and he accepts Christ the moment before he dies, no baptism, no new beginners class. Solely on the cross. Where does he go?
Well, I certainly don't see how defiling the Sabbath glorifies God..

Because it is works and work of the flesh. But if your faith is in the cross, then it is a work of the Spirit and not your own. Not by might, nor by power, but, by My Spirit saith the Lord.
Make the same comments about the first day of the week do you?

So how exactly is quoting the apostle Paul a false characterization?

Or are you just arguing for the sake of it?
I assumed by your comment that you were categorizing those who oppose those who try to bring GOD's children under bondage to the law of Moses as opposing those same people's choice to observe the sabbath.

Not so. The Sabbath can be any day, and it's primary signification in the law is a "day of rest." It just so happens that the regular Sabbath was the seventh day but there were other Sabbaths also. So I guess you seventh day sabbatarians must be 7th day Adventists? Of course there's nothing wrong with a national government instituting seventh day sabbaths - indeed its probably a good thing, but all this focus on individual responsibility to observe it, even where circumstances preclude it, is not good.

You are quoting from the command to keep the Day of Atonement here. At least get the story straight.

You're far out man, completely on another planet. Go re-read Galatians and Col 2;16.

Just because someone believes in GOD's Sabbath doesn't mean they're a 7th Day Adventist or Jewish. It means they're obey God's Word as is as a Christian. This is such an awesome day God made for us to simply rest. It is a Commandment too u know ;)
I am certainly not an SDA. SDAs teach many things I don't believe. We do have the Sabbath in common though.

The sabbath is NOT saturday. That was only pattern to be taught through repitition. Or do you all believe that man is given ANOTHER 6 days to work after the sabbath? NO! The 24 literal 7th day is also A CREATED THING DICTATED BY THE SUN, MOON AND THE STARS!

PLEASE LISTEN! I love you all and wish no ill will. I used to worry over this when I thought as a man. But now upon knowing that I am a son, such worry holds no power over me! He is love and mercy everyday of the week, 24 hours a day!

I have stated what the true sabbath is, not according to a pattern in which work begins again, but according to a God who has layed out the ending from the beginning!

In terms of Christian doctrine, SDA or Hebrew roots will cover most of the sabbath keepers. In terms of law keeping that is a distinction without a difference because they both believe they are still under the law of Moses.
I am neither and I would think there are many like me that have discovered the truth about the Sabbath.

spending the 7th day with Yahweh helps one to know Yahweh and grow in His truth and will.

people who calim "to keep every day holy" usually keep NO day holy, we are so busy throughout the week it is impossible to spend evey day 100% focused on Yahweh, and those who say they do are lying. If one has a wife or husband, does your spouse get mad when you watch football and look at the TV while talking to them? Not giving them your full attention.

But this is ok to do to Yahweh?

I have heard that the ten commandments, and only the ten commandments describe the essence of love, which is the fulfillment of the love commandment taught by Christ Jesus. I would never say that this is far from the truth. Nevertheless, that isn't the complete picture, taking into account the chronology of how God gave the law to Moses. It is very true that the commandment to keep the Sabbath day holy is a substantial necessity for us to appreciate the bigger picture of our God's beauty. The Bible says that the law will be written on our hearts instead of tablets of stone, so let's look at the love commandments, and the commandments written on stones as seen in the Bible.

1. Moses wrote the Ten Commandments. They were not written on stone. The stones were offered later.

Exodus 20:8 (KJV)
[SUP]8 [/SUP]Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.

Exodus 24:4 (KJV)
[SUP]4 [/SUP]And Moses wrote all the words of the LORD, and rose up early in the morning, and builded an altar under the hill, and twelve pillars, according to the twelve tribes of Israel.

2. The Commandments written by God on stone pertained to the building of the Temple, and the duties of the Priesthood. This is after the Ten Commandments, plus much more as you will read in chapters 20 through 23. The first things written in stone were directions for the making of the ark of the covenant.

Exodus 24:12 (KJV)
[SUP]12 [/SUP]And the LORD said unto Moses, Come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give thee tables of stone, and a law, and commandments which I have written; that thou mayest teach them.

Exodus 25:10 (KJV)

[SUP]10 [/SUP]And they shall make an ark of shittim wood: two cubits and a half shall be the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof.

Shittim wood is the wood that was used to build Noah's ark. The word "gopher" in the Hebrew language means the directions of what wood is to be used and how to cut it for the purpose of constructing the boat enabling it to be worthy and fit for what its purpose was. You might want to use the time off that God gave us to meditate on that concept. That's what the Sabbath is for.

2 Corinthians 3:3 (KJV)
[SUP]3 [/SUP]Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.

Jeremiah 31:33 (KJV)
[SUP]33 [/SUP]But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

3. The heartfelt love for God and our brothers and sisters in Christ is defined in principle in the Old Testament.

Matthew 22:37-40 (KJV)
[SUP]37 [/SUP]Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
[SUP]38 [/SUP]This is the first and great commandment.
[SUP]39 [/SUP]And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
[SUP]40 [/SUP]On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Deuteronomy 6:1-5 (KJV)
[SUP]1 [/SUP]Now these are the commandments, the statutes, and the judgments, which the LORD your God commanded to teach you, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go to possess it:
[SUP]2 [/SUP]That thou mightest fear the LORD thy God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command thee, thou, and thy son, and thy son's son, all the days of thy life; and that thy days may be prolonged.
[SUP]3 [/SUP]Hear therefore, O Israel, and observe to do it; that it may be well with thee, and that ye may increase mightily, as the LORD God of thy fathers hath promised thee, in the land that floweth with milk and honey.
[SUP]4 [/SUP]Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:
[SUP]5 [/SUP]And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

Luke 10:26-28 (KJV)
[SUP]26 [/SUP]He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?
[SUP]27 [/SUP]And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.
[SUP]28 [/SUP]And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.

Leviticus 19:15-18 (KJV)
[SUP]15 [/SUP]Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honour the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour.
[SUP]16 [/SUP]Thou shalt not go up and down as a talebearer among thy people: neither shalt thou stand against the blood of thy neighbour: I am the LORD.
[SUP]17 [/SUP]Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him.
[SUP]18 [/SUP]Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD.

4. So why is the seventh day of the week, or the Sabbath so important for us, and why would we want to neglect what God made for us?

Mark 2:27-28 (KJV)
[SUP]27 [/SUP]And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath:
[SUP]28 [/SUP]Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.

1 Thessalonians 1:2-3 (KJV)
[SUP]2 [/SUP]We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers;
[SUP]3 [/SUP]Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father;

At the end of the week, or the end of God seeing us through a difficult circumstance, to glorify God by sharing what we see in the grandeur of our Creator is the substantial purpose of setting all other things aside, and remembering the grace of God, and loving our brothers and sisters enough to share this truth in our lives with them.

Romans 10:4 (KJV)
[SUP]4 [/SUP]For Christ is the end of the law [Sabbath] for righteousness to every one that believeth.

Why did God rest on the seventh day? Because all that He had done the previous 6 days were perfect and good. He wanted to witness His works, and He wants us to witness His works with Him. So He made the seventh day for us to see the same things, and even more, by His Spirit of truth, and security. Let us not degrade this day, for the gift of the Sabbath day is very important for the gift of faith. Is Saturday always the Sabbath? Not really, and neither is Sunday, but we can use either day to do the same thing. Seven is the key number, and it claims the finishing of good things from God. The end.

2 Corinthians 10:15-18 (KJV)
[SUP]15 [/SUP]Not boasting of things without our measure, that is, of other men's labours; but having hope, when your faith is increased, that we shall be enlarged by you according to our rule abundantly,
[SUP]16 [/SUP]To preach the gospel in the regions beyond you, and not to boast in another man's line of things made ready to our hand.
[SUP]17 [/SUP]But he that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.
[SUP]18 [/SUP]For not he that commendeth himself is approved, but whom the Lord commendeth.

Father forgive those that mock and ridicule the day you have sanctified and made holy, they have been so brain washed they are afraid to obey, thinking if they obey, they are disobeying. Father you warned us of this, calling good bad, and bad good. Only you can open there eyes Father, in your Son Christ Jesus name i ask, Thank You.
Isayah 5:20, "Woe to those who call evil righteous, and righteous evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!"

You're far out man, completely on another planet. Go re-read Galatians and Col 2;16.
I have read it and analyzed it many times. Galatians speaks of the schoolmaster, the Laws of sacrifices that pictured Christ. Col 1:16-17 says not to let anyone judge me for KEEPING the Sabbath. I have also read Hebrews 4:9.

This is an example of how the carnal mind simply cannot understand the spiritual things of GOD.
Here is what is said of the carnal mind

Rom 8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be.

It simply says it is the CARNAL mind that is not subject to God's Law.

Again, another false characterization. We do not mock and ridicule the sabbath. I personally do mock and ridicule the teaching that GOD's children are under bondage to the law of Moses (which includes the requirement to observe the sabbath).

Jesus did what His Father commanded, Jesus wasn't a rebellious child period.
Just simply answer my question. We all know the law is embedded in Christ, He is the only 100% righteous one.

bottom line Yahweh ordained the 7th day Sabbath, anyone who changes that is:

Mattihtyah 15:7-9, "Hypocrites! Well did Isayah prophesy of you, saying: These people draw near to Me with their mouth and honor Me with their lips, but have removed their hearts far from Me. But in vain they do worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men."

and I know this is true because:

Daniyl 7:25, "And he will speak great words against Yahweh, and will wear out; mentally attack to cause to fall away, the saints of Yahweh, and think to change times and Laws..."

"Times" is word # 2166 - Hebrew Word Study (Transliteration-Pronunciation Etymology & Grammar - 1) a set time, time, season

If you that dont believe in keeping 7th day Sabbath could explain your view on this verse, that I am wrong about it I may be open to something else you have to say, but as it stands truth is truth, ignoring verses doesnt make it invalid.
