Not in the least. Why you ask? Are you trying to build hate in me?

I hate evil, but I do not hate the person.

Did you not notice in that verse: hate evil....evil way.....DO I HATE.....notice these are wicked manners and not the person itself.

Stop justifying hatred, when your Lord Himself says to love.

DOES GOD HATE SATAN OR SATAN SINS ?

DOES GOD HATE SATAN OR SATAN SINS ?
Does God keep His Word which comes out of His mouth?

....

I simply ask for a yes or a no.

And you will not do it.

So, I will.

Yes. God keeps the words which comes out of His mouth. No words will ever come back to Him void.

If I say no. Then pray for my soul, for I just called God a lair.

Now, I am going to go on the edge here and say that you would have said, "Yes. God keeps His word. Period."

So, God said from His lips, "Love your enemy".

[h=2]SEALING TIME VS MARKING TIME[/h]

The Seal of the United States

The seal of the United States, as in the fore going diagram, gives the name of the first President, his office, and the territory over which he presides.

The Seal of God

Elohim - Creator - Heaven and earth. The seal of God, is the same. It gives the one in authority, His office and also the territory over which He presides. This seal is found in the law of God. A seal is inseparable from law. You remove the fourth commandment from the ten, and there is no authority left in the code of law.

The Seal of God in the Forehead

Asthe saved ones are being sealed with the seal of God in their foreheads, those traveling the broad way of the world are receiving the mark of the beast in their foreheads. This angel saying with a "LOUD VOICE," having the seal of God, is spoken of also as the - "Loud Voice Angel" - in Revelation 14:9, the third angel, who also gives the warning against beast worship, and receiving his mark in their foreheads and their hands to drink of the wine of the wrath of God, the seven last plagues (Rev. 15:1, and 16:1).

The Holy Spirit is the power that does the sealing, by placing the "Seal of God" in the foreheads of the pure in heart. The Holy Spirit is not the seal, but it is the power by which the sealing is done. Just as the seal of state or nation is placed on a document to make it legal by the one who transacts the business, so is "The Seal of God" placed in the forehead, or in the mind of the person, by the Holy Spirit. The seal of state is placed on the document by a machine operated by the man. The seal is not the machine or the manand so is also the seal of God something different from the Holy Spirit that does the work of sealing.

Josh the OP has misunderstood the whole concept of the Sabbath and God's rest. The Sabbath and entering into God's rest are two entirely different subjects.

Originally the Sabbath day was inaugurated by God as the fourth of the Ten Commandments. There is argument whether they are relevant anymore. Some say no as they are all fulfilled in Christ. Some say yes except the fourth commandment and some say yes all are still relevant.

If they are fulfilled in Christ that means we have to live a life that fulfils the law and more so we are set a higher standard.

If they are relevant except the fourth, you have to find scripture that says this and you can’t.

If you believe they are all still relevant you have to work out how to apply them as a promise rather than a command.

The word ‘Sabbath’ as in the Sabbath day appears 60 times in the New Testament (NT). It is the same Greek word in every reference and means a day of repose from secular activity. There is not one case of meaning us entering a permanent Sabbath rest.

This means that the Sabbath Day in the NT is a day, not a permanent fixture.

As far as Hebrews is concerned, we are not talking about a Sabbath day but a Sabbath rest which every believer enters into. In Hebrews 4:9 it says….So, then, there remains a Sabbath rest to the people of God. This Sabbath rest in Greek is a repose of Christianity and it is something that we enter into.

You don’t enter into a Sabbath Day. You observe it.

The previous chapter of Hebrews explains this rest using Moses and the children of Israel as an example. They spent 40 years in the wilderness and as a result did not enter into God’s rest in the Promised Land because of their unbelief.

Belief or unbelief will not and does not make any difference to the keeping of the Sabbath (seventh) day so it is obvious that Hebrews does not refer to the Sabbath (seventh) day.

In Hebrews 4:1 it says….Therefore, let us fear lest perhaps a promise having been left to enter into His rest, any of you may seem to come short.

The Hebrews rest was a promise, not a command and it talks about coming short of it as the Children of Israel did. One does not come short of a Sabbath day because there is no mention anywhere in scripture of coming short of a Sabbath day.

A believer can fall short of entering into God’s rest by continuing in their own works, not by meeting on Sunday. When you do not acknowledge his Lordship in your life and allow him to be Lord of all, you do not enter into rest. That means whether you meet on Saturday or Sunday, you are striving to please God (or your church or church leadership).

And just to throw a spanner in the works, the New Testament Church met every day, not one day a week.

So can you show me some scripture that says this please? And just to throw a spanner in the works, the New Testament Church met every day, not one day a week.

Acts 16:12 And from thence to Philippi, which is the chief city of that part of Macedonia, and a colony: and we were in that city abiding certain days.
Acts 16:13 And on the sabbath we went out of the city by a river side, where prayer was wont to be made; and we sat down, and spake unto the women which resorted thither.

Acts 17:2 And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three sabbath days reasoned with them out of the scriptures,
Acts 17:3 Opening and alleging, that Christ must needs have suffered, and risen again from the dead; and that this Jesus, whom I preach unto you, is Christ.
Acts 17:4 And some of them believed, and consorted with Paul and Silas; and of the devout Greeks a great multitude, and of the chief women not a few.

You got me there bud, but it only says Paul said on the first day of the week when you get together bring your offering with, ...it don't give a time....does it matter?...It's Sunday regardless.................

Since he said
that we should establish the law

then it is either the ten commanments which were placed on the inside of the Ark or the covenant of sacrifices which were placed outsid the ark

Paul said we should establish the law

which one you think he was talking about?

I think it was the Ten commandments since Jesus took care of the animal sacrifices.

1 Cor 16:2 Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.

if you read the whole verse you will see PAul was not there on the first day
he was there on the Sabbath
he said to get the banking done on sunday so when he arrives on the Sabbath he can collect it

You think the Jews who kept the Sabbath for 4000 years, will suddenly change to sunday without a word mentioned in the Bible?
Where does it say
Jesus says to worship on the first day of the week?

it isnt there
but even PAul until he died kept the seventh day Sabbath.

The catholic catechism says
"The early christians all kept the Sabbath
seventh day
and the pope ruler of the world constantine changed that sabbath day to sunday in 321 AD

if you are catholic and reject the Bible you would keep sunday

the pope himself said
the protestants dont even keep their Bibles, they keep our day...
:)
