The issue of these three scriptures that are used to say the Sabbath was abolished revolve around the inability to tell the difference between laws. There are even some who say the Mosaic Law and the Ten Commandments are the same law

. Yet only one of these laws was written in stone by God and stored on the
inside of the Ark of the Covenant, (Exodus 20:1, 22; Exodus 32:16; Exodus 31:18;Deuteronomy 10:5) while the other was written in a book by Moses and stored on the outside of the Ark. (Deuteronomy 31:24; Deuteronomy 31:25-26)

Scripture also says that the Mosaic Law was added until the seed (Jesus) should come because the law or
ten commandments was transgressed. (Galatians 3:19) So what other law was transgressed?

The Mosaic Law contained all the sacrifices that were introduced because God's Ten Commandment law was transgressed (broken).

To say that the Mosaic Law and the Ten Commandments are the same is like saying that when one sinned they had to go and commit adultery to make reconciliation for their sin which is obviously wrong

You think the Jews who kept the Sabbath for 4000 years, will suddenly change to sunday without a word mentioned in the Bible?
Where does it say
Jesus says to worship on the first day of the week?

it isnt there
but even PAul until he died kept the seventh day Sabbath.

The catholic catechism says
"The early christians all kept the Sabbath
seventh day
and the pope ruler of the world constantine changed that sabbath day to sunday in 321 AD

if you are catholic and reject the Bible you would keep sunday

the pope himself said
the protestants dont even keep their Bibles, they keep our day...
:)
hmmm sound like they follow the beast and do not know

Compare below Moses Law vs.
God's Ten Commandment Law
MANY people often confuse Moses Law with God's Ten Commandment Law, but they are very different.
Moses' law was the temporary, ceremonial law of the Old Testament. It regulated the priesthood, sacrifices, rituals, meat and drink offerings, etc., all of which foreshadowed the cross. This law was added "till the seed should come," and that seed was Christ (Galatians 3:16, 19). The ritual and ceremony of Moses' law pointed forward to Christ's sacrifice. When He died, this law came to an end, but the Ten Commandments (God's law) "stand fast for ever and ever." Psalm 111:7,8.
There are two laws that are made crystal clear in the following verses below. Daniel 9:10 is talking about God's law and verse 11 is talking about Moses' law:
"Neither have we obeyed the voice of the LORD our God, to walk in his laws, which he set before us by his servants the prophets."
"Yea, all Israel have transgressed thy law, even by departing, that they might not obey thy voice; therefore the curse is poured upon us, and the oath that is written in the law of Moses the servant of God, because we have sinned against him." Daniel 9:10,11

Special Note: Please note that God's law also called the 10 Commandments has existed at least as long as sin has existed. The Bible says, "Where no law is, there is no transgression [or sin].

"
Romans 4:15. So God's TenCommandment law existed from the beginning. Men broke that law."Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law." 1 John 3:4Because of sin (or breaking God's law), Moses law was given (or "added" Galatians 3:16, 19) till Christ should come and die. Two separate laws involved: God's law or 10 Commandments and Moses law.

the first day starts at evening thus when they met it was night after sabbath

It is customary for Jews to meet after sabbath to break bread in each other HOUSES HMMM

As usual after chuch as we all do wheather sunday or saturday we will talk about the sermon etc

This was such a case

7 And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.
8And there were many lights in the upper chamber, where they were gathered together.
9 And there sat in a window a certain young man named Eutychus, being fallen into a deep sleep: and as Paul was long preaching, he sunk down with sleep, and fell down from the third loft, and was taken up dead.
10 And Paul went down, and fell on him, and embracing him said, Trouble not yourselves; for his life is in him.
11 When he therefore was come up again, and had broken bread, and eaten, and talked a long while, even till break of day, so he departed.
12 And they brought the young man alive, and were not a little comforted.

Was this in the night or morning the preaching started ?
Apparently the early evening but the original question you asked was what time and I said it don't say and it don't unless you want to conclude the words "upon" meaning the moment of the first day. And it don't matter, all I said was we worship God on SunDAY which starts Saturday evening and ends Sunday evening.

The prophet Daniel foresaw that in our time, some people would wish others a happy new year at a wrong time. Daniel 7:25 speaks about some fourth gentile empire that was to rule over the world. This empire was to take it upon itself to, among other evils, try to change the ‘times…’ of the people of God. Have you ever wondered for example why we begin our days from midnight to midnight? Are you aware for example, that the word ‘dawn’ comes from the Hebrew word ‘dowr’, which means to ‘draw towards’? Would it be far-fetched if one were to assert that the day should begin from sunset to sunset the following day? (Genesis 1:5, 14)

Dan 7:25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

Gen 1:5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
Gen 1:14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

The children of Israel were taught how to count time, dates and months included. In Exodus chapter 12, God tells the children of Israel, “This month shall be the beginning of the year to you; this shall be the first month…” (Exodus 12:1-6).

Ya and Jesus taught the Apostles and the Apostles taught us that in loving God and Neighbor as oneself we fulfill the 10 commandments and Sunday Monday Tuesday Wednsday Thrusday Friday and Saturday are all fine to Worship God. And as far as the Sabbath day made for man that's up to the individual to rest on or not and God is fine with either. If you work all week and burn out cause you don't take a rest, don't blame God ....

Resting is not what keeping the Sabbath is about
Communion with Jesus on the wedding day is what it is about.
If you are not his bride it doesnt matter

if you are his bride it certainly does matter wether you are with the bridegroom on a certain day or not.

But God rests on the Sabbath and will bless all those with the Sabbath barak blessing who do also

those who dont cannot overcome sin

God says
REmember, to keep your appointment with me
and the lady says
Oh it doesnt matter where thebridegroom is, wether he is there or not, because I am just worshipping myself anyway

yes, for her it doesnt matte.
She isnt worshipping God anyway
likely she is having a coffe social event and clothes check-out and updating the latest gossip
no, then it doesnt matter
sunday is a fine day for irreverance.

No, fulfilling the ten commandments is loving God you have it backwards
"If you love me, keep my commandments"

Monday Tuesday Wednsday Thrusday Friday and Saturday are all fine to Worship God.

No it is not fine to worship God on another day when he told you to... that is called disobedience

And as far as the Sabbath day made for man that's up to the individual to rest on or not

that is true it is up to you wether you obey God or not'

and God is fine with either.

no you will not be fine at all in disobedience

If you work all week and burn out cause you don't take a rest, don't blame God ....
it is nothing about burnout
it is about marriage realtionship

Isa 56:1 Thus saith the LORD, Keep ye judgment, and do justice: for my salvation is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed.
Isa 56:2 Blessed is the man that doeth this, and the son of man that layeth hold on it; that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil.
Isa 56:3 Neither let the son of the stranger, that hath joined himself to the LORD, speak, saying, The LORD hath utterly separated me from his people: neither let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree.
Isa 56:4 For thus saith the LORD unto the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and take hold of my covenant;
Isa 56:5 Even unto them will I give in mine house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.
Isa 56:6 Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the LORD, to serve him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant;
Isa 56:7 Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.
Isa 56:8 The Lord GOD which gathereth the outcasts of Israel saith, Yet will I gather others to him, beside those that are gathered unto him.

So it is your choice if you want:

1. written in Gods house and within his walls a place and a name better than of sons
2. an everlasting name
3. never to be cut off.
4. to be made joyful in my house of prayer
5. Be brought to God's holy mountain,

Keeping Sunday wont do it
Keeping Monday wont do it
Keeping Tuesday wont do it
Keeping Wednesday wont do it
Keeping Thursday wont do it
Keeping Friday wont do it

Why would you not want to follow the Word of God and invent your own religion?
If God is God, and this man you will have to rule over you
then you would obey

but

But his citizens hated him, and sent a message after him, saying, We will not have this man to reign over us. Luke 19:14

The problem with all people who dont see what is in the Sabbath
is
you need to be born again
of the spirit
we all do
every day
when youhav the holy spirit in side of you
then your conscience will say
"It DOES matter, it matters a lot! It is the seal of GOd to seal you for eternity"

when you hear another spirit, then you need to be born again

Go to jJEsus
go to the word of God

see if it matters to keep the Sabbath
go read
tel me what you find
tell me any verse that says
oh it doesnt really matter what day you keep

anywhere in the Bible show me

That is like saying

I handed the real estate broker 450,000 dollar check to buy the house
it doesnt really matter if I sign the Title

everyone knows I paid the money

well,
it does matter.
it is the seal

2 Tim 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity (transgression of the ten commandments)

and Sabbath is #4

nice chart

The ONLY commandment JEsus said to REMEMBER
REMEMBER
REMEMBER

they say it dont matter.

just plain unbelief in the word of God.

those who do not believe in the Sabbath also usually believe i evolution

evolution acceptance is rejection of your eternal crown
no one with that much unbelief in the word of God is going into his kingdom.

That made me think of Jeremiah.

So I took the evidence of the purchase, both that which was sealed according to the law and custom, and that which was open:.........

...Thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Take these evidences, this evidence of the purchase, both which is sealed, and this evidence which is open; and put them in an earthen vessel, that they may continue many days. [SUP]15 [/SUP]For thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Houses and fields and vineyards shall be possessed again in this land.

"So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon or sabbaths, which are a shadow of things to come, but the substance is of Christ." Col. 2:16-17.

This was from post #14 but other posts talk about the shadow of things also - so I guess my question is If people who refer to this shadow seem to be talking about things being done away with from the Old Testament - Why does this verse above from the New Testament talking about different issues such as food, drink, festivals, new moons or Sabbaths say ARE a shadow of things to come instead of WERE a shadow of things to come? From that verse my understanding is that all items mentioned are still of importance in the New Testament?? Just wondering.

Josh all the people whole who are keeping the Sabaath day are keeping the SHADOW of the Sabaath.
Once the real thing has come, the shadow is worthless. It's like continuing to sacrifice lambs after the LAMB OF GOD has already come... the shadow is worthless!

Heb 4:10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.

Sabaath day keepers have not ceased from their own works... they are still WORKING trying pleasing God by keeping the Sabaath day.

Sabbath keepers aren't working to keep the Sabbath - They are just Remembering to keep it like God asked them to.
