I am 99% sure that I broke my nail biting/picking habit!!

My nails are long now! Not absurdly so, but I actually have to clip them now!

I've been trying for a long time to kick the habit. I'd always make it 2-3 weeks in, and then fail, but it's been...I can't even remember the last time I messed with them. :D

to KayEM - I think, the boy you like having met your parents is a big plus, parents know us better than anyone, besides God, and, sometimes, even, they know us better than we know ourselves. God's implanted MUCH wisdom in our parents, milady, and, there is a reason in Scripture it says, 'Honor your parents,' that being one of the 10 commandments, no less :) His being in your church, and, better yet, in a worship band. But, guard your heart, and, you ASK God for that protection, that ability to rebuke temptation; He will be there for you WHEN you ask Him to :)

"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and, lean not on your own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy paths."

God says the word 'acknowledge,' in this Psalm 3 , and, that means that we are to listen to what He is telling us, like He's allowing you on this date, and, though, you hear a small voice you say in you, maybe, telling you to say 'no,' you've received confirmation from mistysevens and others, myself, too, that you're acknowledging His small voice inside you, His Spirit in yours in your heart :)

But, yeah, that's about it, just wanted to say that, I said MC to everyone in a thread but, God bless your holiday time however God has you all spending it ! The Lord leads , and , this time of year is a great time to just reflect on the past year and think about the next year and how you want to do everything you do in it as perfect as you can, and, of course, we all know that means one thing......

Follow Him. Bring all the glory to God in whatever you do in life that He blesses you of doing, being, seeing, acting, touching, hearing, even, eating. Doing things in this way, let's call it 'being,' will be such a blessing to you, bringing every thing to His glory will be soo sweet and wonderful feeling for your life.

Don't just live in the moment, but, live in His moments for you, for that will be monumental for living a life that's momentous and 'now,' as, He always IS leading you . Be blessed all :)

I bit my nails growing up, all the time. Mom's Sloane liniment was horrible tasting as mom would dip my fingers in it and that was supposed to stop me at my ripe age of 8. Nope. I kept biting and just thought that the Sloane's taste was a little bitter and was yucky but my biting my fingernails (and don't forget the luscious cuticles :D ) was sooo more important, littleC :D

Thankfully, I quit biting my nails eventually. High school or so , not sure why either. I must've just prayed. God can nix a habit quite quickly when we do, like His time, which can be faster than fast can be fast, of course. :)

Glad yer feeling better, yes, indeed, peppermint tea and lemon in it, that's the combo that will eliminate what ails you. Bioflavonoids in both items and antibacterial stock full of dem properties too; that drink tonic is especially enhanced, for me, anyway, when you drink it like I do, by puncturing the
Stash tea bag and letting all those leaves soak into the tea water. Green tea, too, it's fabulous to drink the raw leaves, and, potent antibacterial properties in that drink too for colds, sore throats, sickness :)

Successful shop at IKEA. I bought another wooden 4 cube bookshelf thingy and stacked it on the one I already have and now have a decent bookshelf in my room :) I bought an old-style desk clock with Roman numeral, stylish boxes to put in the cube thingy and a small table lamp. Satisfied :)

You had to wait three weeks to trim your nails?! From March to November, mine need weekly trimming!

(It is a scientifically proven fact that nails grow faster in warm months.)

It's December, almost January, and I STILL need to trim mine weekly. -_- Though I haven't been able to keep my nails very long for the past 7 years (since I started playing guitar).

Ha, unfortunate for me, or maybe fortunate this time around, I don't have any internet access on my phone. :p Though sleepiness is starting to kick in for me....so I think I shall sleep now. >.< I got a slightly busy day ahead of me, anyways. Praise and worship practice and all.

Goodnight, everyone. :)

When I was little, and watched The Muppets Christmas Carol with my mom, I always thought there was a "Ghost of Christmas Presents".
Maybe tonight I won't have super weird dreams.
Maybe tomorrow I'll go spend money I don't have on stuff I don't really need.
I don't know why I'm not asleep yet.

I love at the beginning when someone steals a vegetable off the cart, and the vegetable is like, 'help, I'm being stolen!!' Hehe

These things are always viewed about being all about weight loss, as if to indicate you're fat. Perhaps it had less to do with that and more to do with taking care of yourself and being healthy.
That may be, except my mom calls me fat all the time.

Oh, but since she's Filipino she doesn't say "fat" she says "healthy". I know that seems backwards to most people, but trust me, to my mom and most of my Filipino relatives, "healthy" = "fat".

"Oh, anak (child), are you sure you want to eat that? You are already too..healthy"

messing with co-workers is bad. (if being serious might want to check the company rules. dating in the workplace *could* equal loss of job, I know some places are like that)
