At the second coming when the Messiah returns, when every eye shall see him, either all will bend the knee and be saved....OR, all will bend the knee and face Judgment.

WOW! If I'd of known that 35 years ago,
I could have had a mega Church too!?
A shot to the heart, how did I miss it?
Grammar police:

That's "I would have". . .not "I would of," or "I'd of."

This error is getting to be quite common.

Still a good post, though.

At the second coming when the Messiah returns, when every eye shall see him, what do you think the people of Israel (the Jews) will do and how will they respond to him? Will Christ bring salvation with him for Israel or will he reject them because they rejected him? Is God going to extend his goodness to them and turn ungodliness away from Jacob? Is the Lord qualified to take away their sins and give them salvation when he comes a second time or have they forfeited it through unbelief and are not granted repentance? Christ does not have to be crucified again and when he comes a second time he will reveal that to Israel and they will see it and repent and the blindness shall be taken away and ungodliness turned away.
I'll give you your version.

"At the second coming when the Messiah returns, when every eye shall see him, what do you think the people of Israel (the Jews) will do and how will they respond to him?"

They will weep and mourn, as will the rest of mankind that rejected Christ's sacrifice on the cross. But fortunately for them (those alive in Israel at Christ's return), accepting Christ as Lord and Messiah prior to Christ's return doesn't apply. That judgement is reserved for the rest of humanity that aren't Jews by blood. The bible might say there is neither Jew nor Gentile in Christ ... and those that deny Christ before men, them also will He deny before His Father ... but the Jews will acknowledge Christ eventually (after looking upon Him) ... so them being God's chosen race means they are exempt. Well ... those living when He returns are anyways. Those who don't understand this can only be jealous Jew haters.

"Will Christ bring salvation with him for Israel or will he reject them because they rejected him? Is God going to extend his goodness to them and turn ungodliness away from Jacob?"

Christ won't reject you for rejecting Him .... IF ... 1) You're a Jew by blood ... and 2) You're alive and you live in Israel when he returns to judge the rest of humanity. *Disclaimer ... You need both to qualify. You won't be included in "all Israel" if you're not living there.* God didn't "extend His goodness to them" (the Jews) or "bring salvation" (again, to the Jews) when Christ died on the cross for the sins of the world. He's saving that for His second of three advents.

"Is the Lord qualified to take away their sins and give them salvation when he comes a second time or have they forfeited it through unbelief and are not granted repentance? Christ does not have to be crucified again and when he comes a second time he will reveal that to Israel and they will see it and repent and the blindness shall be taken away and ungodliness turned away."

Annnnnd .... we'll sacrifice more animals to God once again during His one-thousand year reign on earth as a remembrance of His great sacrifice for the Gentiles .... and those fortunate Jews by blood that didn't require it during their pre-millennial sojourn.

My comment(s) : If the above doesn't make you shake your head in wondrous amazement and disbelief, I honestly don't know what else there is to say on the matter .... except this. Blindness.

"Christians are the True Israel" (Justin Martyr, Dialogues, Chapter CXXIII, 130 AD)

"As therefore from the one man Jacob, who was surnamed Israel, all your nation has been called Jacob and Israel; so we from Christ, who begat us unto God, (like Jacob, and Israel, and Judah, and Joseph, and David,) are called and are the true sons of God, and keep the commandments of Christ" (Justin Martyr, Dialogues, Chapter CXXIII, 130 AD)

"Christ is King of Israel, and Christians are the Israelitic Race. (Justin Martyr, Dialogues, Chapter CXXXV, 130 AD)

"As, therefore, Christ is the Israel and the Jacob, even so we, who have been quarried out from the bowels of Christ, are the true Israelitic race." (Justin Martyr, Dialogues, Chapter CXXXV, 130 AD)

"For all the nations are uncircumcised, and all the house of Israel are uncircumcised in their hearts.' ... But though a man be a Scythian or a Persian, if he has the knowledge of God and of His Christ, and keeps the everlasting righteous decrees, he is circumcised with the good and useful circumcision, and is a friend of God, and God rejoices in his gifts and offerings." (Justin Martyr, Dialogues, Chapter XXVIII, 130 AD)

I can't speak for the others on here who are "real" Christians, who don't propagate satan's "doctrines from the pit" like you guys do, but I, for one, am not angry in the least. God will deal with you like He deals with ALL heathens. Truth be told, I pity YOU more than I do the atheists. They are simply in denial and at least have a "chance" to get "saved". YOU people on the other hand, mistakenly believe you ARE "saved" and will therefore "never" make ANY effort to get right with God and will be very surprised on judgment day when Jesus tells you, "Depart from me cursed. I never knew you..."
Bummer for you. Oh, and "Notprofitable", stop "blessing" us "Christians", it's an insult to us AND Christ...Thanks \o/

You both are forgetting the longsuffering and forbearance of God. Israel and many of the Jews right up until the time of second coming will remain in unbelief but when he appears and they shall see him, they will believe in the one they have rejected and pierced. Is not that a good thing that the Lord will do through his promise of mercy? Do not the Gentiles have the same hope in the one who the Jews had pierced and rejected? Is there no hope of restoration in your faith for the rest of the Jews who live in unbelief? Do we turn a blind eye to their Redeemer who will come again and be their Deliverer, who they rejected the first time, except for a remnant?

THIS IS NOT a second chance to make things right, it is an opportunity through the sovereign plan of God to be faithful to his promises concerning Israel and he will redeem them through the blood of the Lamb that was sacrificed on the cross by the one who they pierced the first time he came. They will see him and those nail prints and they will mourn and their sorrow will lead them to repentance because they will acknowledge the goodness of God that has returned in the person of Jesus Christ to deliver them from all their sin and unbelief through the blood he shed the first time he came. He will not forsake them and will deliver them from all their enemies. He will judge the nations and establish his righteousness in them.

This is not emotional but it is too objective for some to comprehend for some reason. Anyone should be able to understand it when they have the right frame of reference and the Spirit of God in their lives teaching them. God loves Israel and he is going to deliver them as promised and those who do not believe that can do nothing to change it and it will be fulfilled just as God has said, it will come to past and every knee will bow to the Lord when he establishes himself with and among his people Israel. For those who believe it they will have rest and will look forward with hope having assurance of God's faithfulness to his people. Documentation is not needed because many on this site have already done so and you do not believe what they have to say concerning the scriptures. That is your loss and how you learn amiss.

No one is bolstering Israel's unbelief because the issue is God's faithfulness to his promise to an elect nation and people despite their unbelief and wickedness. God has concluded them all in unbelief that he might have mercy on all. Only a remnant has believed up until now but when he comes again all of Israel (that are left on earth) will be saved and Paul was not talking about the church or the Gentiles. You can't apply the term 'Israel' as the church when it is referring to Israel as a nation and people and it is the goodness of God that will lead them to their day of repentance. The second coming of Christ is the goodness of God and his faithfulness to the nation and people of Israel and when they see him, the one who they and their people rejected and pierced (crucified), they will mourn and repent and salvation will have come to them who were in unbelief (Heb 9:28). The very fact of seeing him pierced represents the cross and the shed blood but Zone and her crowd take away any future reference of this event happening with Israel and by doing that take away their hope in the cross of Christ.

Zone and others do not believe that is possible because they have a wrong premise and they are the ones who mock and scoff at the promise of God and any future salvation for Israel. Now is the day of salvation for those in unbelief and when he comes again that will be the day of their salvation who remained in unbelief. Zone and her crowd are the ones who reject the promises of God for Israel and its people (the Jews) and Gods plan to graff them in again to the olive tree at the second coming. They are the ones who see no hope and future for the nation and people of Israel and do not see the goodness of God and his mercy bringing them restoration. They are blinded by their own understanding and doctrine and it translates into them hating the very thought of Israel being a nation and people again, who has and will continue to have God's favor once again. If you reject God's goodness and favor toward them as a nation and people, then love, hope and faith is missing and when these things are missing you are left with the opposite of these things and most importantly no fruit.
BradC that is not true!
I've heard Zone and her crowd, say over and over, Jesus is the fulfillment of the promises to Israel!

The promise to Israel to eternal life, up to Messiah, (or Jesus)
was bringing forth a first born unto the resurrection of the dead! Have you ever read this?

You indeed bolster Israel's unbelief with this foolishness of another kind salvation?

I now what bothers a lot of you is the scriptures of God bringing Israel and Judah back unto their land;
their land is no longer here, but it is in heaven in New Jerusalem!
Jesus in bringing the faithful of Israel into their eternal resurrection, fulfilled all of these promises.

Why did Jesus stop midsentence? If this was to be fulfilled in His life or in the early church? YOu mock my understanding of OT prophecy but I'm just trying to understand why Jesus did what He did. Nothing you said actually interacts with this.

You have a misunderstanding yourself if you believe that Western knowledge is entirely chronological while the Eastern (Semitic) mindset was non-chronological. There is no doubt that the prophets spoke with gaps in their prophecies. You believe in this yourself, so if you want to have an intelligent conversation, please do so. The Semitic mindset was oftentimes chronological and often topical. They had a psychological understanding of time and its progression.

Dispensationalism does not suppose a hidden meaning or knowledge like Gnosticism does. Stop caricaturing.

6"But as for Me, I have installed My King Upon Zion, My holy mountain." The question would be, to what is this referring? Does the NT ever quote this as being fulfilled? No. Yes, Jesus is on God's right hand, and He has a kingdom, but the context of Psalm 1 and 2 is God being God over the nations of earth. There is a heavenly dimension, we just disagree as to whether Jesus ruling the nations with a rod of iron is occurring now spiritually, or will occur in the future both physically and spiritually.
The gap theory of Dispensationalism is absolutely Gnosticism!
This was taught to you by men who have special knowledge that no one else can know.
You do not have ONE original thought in your;
Tim Lahay, Left Behind 21st Century, rapture of the Church!

The foundation was being laid out in the 60s; 70s; 80s; 90s;
I remember reading this garbage back in the 70s and was speechless!

People are ushered into this trance, with hook in nose and spoon in mouth;
You cannot question these Gnostic's books or movies;
Yet you do not have one original thought in this whole process!?
That fascinates me!

No matter if it's called, pre; mid; or post trib.
These evil men could not interpret most of these prophecies, in their rightful place with Jesus and Early Church.
So they create 7 yrs in the unknown future (there's your Gnosticism)! Their Gnostic Gap!
They roll all the prophecies of the New Testament together in these 7 yrs;
and they tell you a story of a 21 Century rapture.
I'm sorry the 18th; 19th and 20th Century Dispensationalist did this also!

You believe every word of it, and you will fight without regard for it.
BUT: You do not have one single thought in this whole process!
Either you read the books and movies,
family members told you, or heard of it somewhere,
or was taught in your churches by those who subscribed to these monsters.

I do not have anything against people who believe this, it was shoveled down my throat too!

My only point is: This was not taught to you out of the Word of God!
It was taught to you from books and movies.
If you do not Heave To, and claim some theory of this Gnostic Gap,
you will be shunned or cast out of your church.
Look at the hell you people raise, if someone questions you!!!

Brought to you by men who have created for themselves million and billion dollar industries.

So Dispensationalism does suppose a hidden knowledge, in it's Gnostic Gap!

'gnostic gap'? Do you know the meaning of 'gnostic'? I don't see any relevance. All of the above could relate to any 'Christian denomination' - all were taught by men, family members told you, or you heard of it somewhere, or was taught in your churches.
What do you consider the 'mystery' of the Church? The mystery is the 'body of Christ' and how all who believe make up that 'body' with Christ as the 'head'. The mystery is the Church and if it was kept secret then no one knew about it until Paul received revelation from Jesus Christ. . . which is what is said in Romans. The Church, the body of Christ, Christ in each born again believer. . . . Israel is kept in blindness until the

For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. Romans 11:25

Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began. Romans 16:25

But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom (the hidden), which God ordained before the world unto our glory. . . 1 Cor. 2:7

But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by revelation of Jesus Christ . . . .Galatians 1:12 But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which would afterward be revealed. (shut up - sunklao - 1. to shut up together, a. of a shoal of fishes in a net) 2. to shut up on all sides, shut up completely (ummm - shut up on all sides; isn't a 'gap' shut up on all sides? but I prefer to call it not a 'gap' - just a 'mystery' which is more scriptural)

Ephesians 3:3,5 How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words, . . .(Gal. 1:12) Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy prophets by the Spirit.

Even
the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: Colossians 1:26,27

Her problem as with many others of her ilk do not see the second coming of Christ having any restoration effect upon Israel and her people. She does not see the faithfulness of God upon his chosen and elect nation at the second coming. She rejects any teaching that the second coming is to bring salvation and deliverance to Israel and to judge the nations and to set up a kingdom that will rule and reign for 1,000 years upon the earth. She only sees the church and the promises of God to Israel relating to the first coming and does not recognize any of God's promises to Israel and what takes place for them at the second coming. She has obstinately rejected any dispensational truth that recognizes Israel as a people and nation and she demonized those who teach anything about it. She has the church reigning with Christ from heaven in the kingdom now as the 1,000 reign of Rev 20:1-6 and sees no future millennial kingdom reigning for that 1,000 years period on earth. She claims we are in a time of tribulation with many of the seals having already taken place. She does not see the 144,000 of (Rev 7) as those who are raised up from a people who represent the twelve tribes of the children of Israel.

She only sees one resurrection for all people taking place prior to the new heaven and earth in a simultaneous manner of the just and unjust and relates that to the white throne judgment. She claims that Israel is not a true nation and any goodness that is showed Israel and its people presently is supporting criminals, false Jews and a false religion called Judaism. She has no hope and sees no mercy and deliverance for Israel as a nation and people who have rejected Christ at his first coming. She sees all of God promises being fulfilled to Israel at his first coming and disqualifies the fulfillment of any those promises that relate to his second coming. She is one messed up individual who has lots of knowledge based upon the wrong premise concerning Israel as a nation and people and it distorts her entire view of things to come as end time events prophesied concerning Christ, his church and the people and nation of Israel.

Her problem as with many others of her ilk do not see the second coming of Christ having any restoration effect upon Israel and her people.
what about the First Coming? where He was not sent BUT TO the lost sheep of Israel?
epic failure?

She does not see the faithfulness of God upon his chosen and elect nation at the second coming.

She rejects any teaching that the second coming is to bring salvation and deliverance to Israel and to judge the nations and to set up a kingdom that will rule and reign for 1,000 years upon the earth.
because it's not written. you're making it up cuz you read paperbacks and listen to John Hagee.

She only sees the church and the promises of God to Israel relating to the first coming and does not recognize any of God's promises to Israel and what takes place for them at the second coming.
yes, i believe that - but you don't.
according to you they were excluded from their own Messiah and Church.
as for their promise for the Second Coming - any in Christ enter eternity with Him.
so what's ya problim, man?

She has obstinately rejected any dispensational truth that recognizes Israel as a people and nation and she demonized those who teach anything about it.
sowwy...you're on record as them being excluded from everything they were promised. not the other way around.

btw Redster:
i suspect you're secretly in love with me:rolleyes:.
it's the only explanation for such a weird obsession that you'd be banned 3 times for stalking me, and keep coming back.

She has the church reigning with Christ from heaven in the kingdom now as the 1,000 reign of Rev 20:1-6 and sees no future millennial kingdom reigning for that 1,000 years period on earth.
no beloved, the bible declares it.
read it sometime.

She claims we are in a time of tribulation with many of the seals having already taken place.
ha? the tribulation - Jacob's Trouble is long over.
of course the seals have been broken.
read rev - Jesus broke them when He ascended. no one else was found worthy, doooood.

She does not see the 144,000 of (Rev 7) as those who are raised up from a people who represent the twelve tribes of the children of Israel.
of course i do.
that was a long time ago.
if you're going to presume to speak for me, get it right, bad boy.

She only sees one resurrection for all people taking place prior to the new heaven and earth
duh. dat's what da bible says.
read it.

in a simultaneous manner of the just and unjust and relates that to the white throne judgment.
ya. read it.

She claims that Israel is not a true nation and any goodness that is showed Israel and its people presently is supporting criminals, false Jews and a false religion called Judaism.
how creepy of you.
not worthy of an answer.

what you really mean is: she thinks that billions in welfare and military support and unconditional fawning and salivating by Xtian Zionists is wrong and antichrist.

please do get it right.
and represent YOUR views clearly. your deceit is intolerably transparent.

what are ya? Freud? a novelist? drama queen?

and sees no mercy and deliverance for Israel as a nation and people who have rejected Christ at his first coming. She sees all of God promises being fulfilled to Israel at his first coming and disqualifies the fulfillment of any those promises that relate to his second coming.
...and anyone who will be saved must be saved now through the Gospel.

She is one messed up individual who has lots of knowledge based upon the wrong premise concerning Israel as a nation and people and it distorts her entire view of things to come as end time events prophesied concerning Christ, his church and the people and nation of Israel.
and you are a weirdo. get a life.

This was already understood concerning his first coming but he was rejected in large by his own except for a remnant. We all know that as an elementary premise. They were blinded and set aside and it is the time of the Gentiles. Sunday school stuff we learned very early. You just take others and my comments out of context and apply them to satisfy your own desires for truth.

You stop with the first that dealt with sin and don't allow the cross and salvation to continue through to the second coming for the salvation of the nation and people of Israel. A remnant has been saved but then all of Israel will be saved ans what a great day that will be. That is your own shortcoming not mine. Too bad.

It is written in the scriptures, many have showed you and you reject it with unbelief. Your unbelief has gotten the best of your understanding and again that it too bad.

Your best effort to discredit is taken out of context through your wrong premise. A broken record on your part for sure.

Many of us have read and been taught by the Spirit on these things, but that makes no difference to you and that false premise of yours.

When did that happen so long ago and explain how they were sealed on their foreheads by the angels and were not hurt by the locust? If you are referring to Titus and the 70AD destruction of the temple by those Roman locust you have lots of explaining to do historically and otherwise. I would play it safe if I were you before you get all tripped up again.

ya. read it.You have made such a fool of yourself with the resurrections, but go ahead and try again if you want to prove that there is only on resurrection that takes place since the the resurrection of Christ.

Are you telling us that you have never made statements to this effect and documented your evidence of it? Even 'unclefester' knows better.

It is obvious how you think and feel about Israel and its people and you have no hope for them nor do you trust in the promise of God for them as a nation and people now and in the future. To you they are not Israel nor a people unless they are part of the church. Shucks, I thought everyone knew that about you!

Why do you keep falling short with Israel and the second coming? Doesn't the second coming also count for Israel and its people?

God will be faithful to his elect people Israel and you can't do anything about it but try to cause confusion.
