I was reading along when a bright thought came to me

watch this

Rev 22:8 And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which showed me these things.
Rev 22:9 Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.

What did the spirit whow me?
he drew attention to some words

Rev 22:8 And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which showed me these things.
Rev 22:9 Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.

Did you catch that?
To worship God you must fall down!

this proves the Barak praise

fall on your knees pray and recieve the holy spirit on the Sabbath day

that is true worship/

Amen Praise the Lord.

When something is inspired, everything clicks
everything fits
all these thoughts rush my mind here are some.. just a few...

John kneeled fbefore an ANGEL and the angel said NO!
Not appropriate!
kneel ONLY BEFORE GOD!

so the antichrist would have you KNEEL before him and STAND before God.
Then you know you are in the wrong church
He is the antichrist with no scars in his hands and no scar in his side who would have you stand in prayer.

more

Even a prophet (angel was a prophet, he said so)
we do not worship or bow down to
so when there is a prophet that you kneel before,
that is a false prophet.

more

The angel himself told John KNEEL TO God alone!
DO what?
KNEEL DOWN!

see?

John didnt even say anything he fell to his knees and the angel said NO
dont do it JOHN!
I am like you
I dont deserve to be kneeled to!

ONLY kneel to God!

so to stand in front of Gods throne and pray is abominable....
disrespect

Barak (the word the monks substituted PRAISE instead of KNEELING is in bible 300 times

we are to KNEEL and pray and you SHALL BE FILLED WITH the holy spirit

if someone would have told you to climb some mountain to be filled with the holy spirit, would you?

Moses asked them to simply look at the braxzen serpent but that is too easy for some they died

so how easy is it to kneel in prayer on the Sabbath day and claim the holy spirit?
hard if you are proud
easy if you are sealed with the truth

Happy kneeling Sabbath to you...

Since this thread is called the truth about Sabbath, i thought i'd post what i find to be the truth about Sabbath. (1) There is abundant truth that the fourth commandment, that the Bible Sabbath is on Saturday, while Sunday is "first day of the week". (2) The Sabbath is not Jewish. It belongs to Yahweh. (3) Jesus Christ kept the Sabbath, taught much about it, and clearly stated that He is " Lord even of the Sabbath day". Luke 4:16, Matthew 12:8. (4) Jesus Christ never mentioned "the first day of the week" even one time He taught nothing about it! (5) The New Testament itself says nothing about Sunday being set aside in honor of the resurrection. (6) The Sabbath continues after the cross and was kept in the book of Acts, by both Jews and Gentiles. Luke 23:54-56; Matthew 24-20; Acts 13:42-44; 16:13. (7) There is no Biblical authorization for the change of the fourth Commandment from Saturday to Sunday. (8) Bible prophesy and history both testify to the fact that the Roman Catholic church changed the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday. Daniel 7:25. (9) Yahweh made the day to be a blessing to all people. It is His special sign that He is The Creator of Heaven and Earth. Isaiah 56:2, 6-7; 66:23-23; Ezekiel 20:12. (10) Rediscovering the Sabbath of Jesus Christ is part of Bible prophesy in the end- times.

Luke 23:54-56, And that day was the preparation, and the Sabbath drew on. And the woman also, which came with him from Galilee, followed after, and beheld the sepulchre, and how his body was laid. And they returned, and prepared spices and ointments; and rested the Sabbath day according to the commandment.

God is so amazing... he predestined this to happen in the last days, 14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
20Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

can you imagine that.. this is so sad.. these people thinking they doing the right thing with what ever works they are doing... NOT KNOWING that they are wretched...miserable... poor....BLIND.... and naked... it's sooo sad in other words... they have not the holy spirit.. and are walking blindly in the flesh not knowing the truth believe they are doing the right thing... and yet still don't know.. that they are completely blind... wanna know the WORST PART? normally God knocks at the door of a sinner who has no clue about him or what this life means... but look at who he is knocking at... these people " righteous people " following laws perfectly and what not... and they not knowing they are completely blind to the truth but going about their own business.. can you believe that... God is calling for them to receive the holy spirit.. but they just keep letting RELIGION get into the way.. and pushing themselves further away... oh what a sad story... Lord God... i pray that you can atleast take out some of them with a genuine heart... seek God people.. with all of your heart, do not use your understandings you will never survive from your understandings.. just allow God into your heart and let him live the life for you... we never know when death calls, make sure... your doing the right thing in the eyes of God that in the eyes of man

Luke 4:15-16, And He taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all. And He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up: and, as His custom was, He went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.

We serve an intelligent God so it would be inconsistent for Him to be against education. In fact, he commands teaching, studying, and application of knowledge (which can only follow learning) of scriptures. The entire book of Proverbs contrasts foolish (devoid of understanding) and wise people. Psalm 119 contains references to using scripture in every verse.

Instruction should be consistent with Biblical truths, of course. There is nothing wrong with education; rather, it is important for all believers to be taught how to correctly wield the sword of the Word of the Lord (Heb 4:12).

2 Timothy 2:15 - Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Joshua 1:8 - This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. [meditate=think]

Matthew 28:20 - Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen.

1 Corinthians 12:27-28 - "All of you together are Christ’s body, and each of you is a part of it. Here are some of the parts God has appointed for the church: first are apostles, second are prophets, third are teachers, . . ."

[h=3]1 Corinthians 2:14[/h]King James Version (KJV)

14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

don't get me wrong.. i'm not saying education is a bad thing, i'm saying if we put education into the word of God we will never see the truth, try to understand what i'm trying to say

I and my friend explored this idea for two hours yesterday. It is true that the truth of the gospel is so simple that a three year old can understand it perfectly, and it is possible for a Yale professor to not be able to comprehend any of it. At the same time, if a Christian studies to arm himself with more and better knowledge of the Lord to help with his growth in the Lord, it is a good thing. By a Christian not giving himself spiritual food daily, he can starve his spiritual self.

That spiritual food needs to include looking at the world the Lord is in! If you won't look at history to see God's actions in it, you will be lacking. If you don't study the world as it was at the time a certain scripture was written to see what that scripture was telling us of eternal principles using that timeframe, you can misunderstand the scripture. Education has its place, to be used in Christian growth, and it has to be from a standpoint of scripture first and foremost.

well it's pretty simple without the holy spirit you will view the bible man's way of viewing and never get to understand how God wants us to view it, with the holy spirit you will get the full view of how God wants the bible to be viewed and through the spirit is the only way anyone can see the mysteries of the bible

Read the words in red until you know them without question

Whatever the question Christ is and has the answer :D

I simply follow the good sheperd he promises me love, he knows me, he prepares my place in his Father's mansion, he gives me all I ask, he feeds me when I'm hungry, clothes me, and quenches my thirst

Not saying not to read the rest of God's word

Still the older I get the more I am like I was when I was seven and wouldn't read anything unless it was printed in red :) I told my Dad, "if Jesus didn't say it me don't need it"
Strangely my life has doubled and that hasn't changed

Acts 13:42-44, And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next Sabbath. Now when the congregation was broken up, many of the Jews and proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas: who, speaking to them, persuaded them to continue in the grace of God. And the next Sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God.

Do you have any clue why they met on the sabbath?

...and then, along came a man consumed with power and fame, converted to Christian, became the government and the head of a church, and changed God's law. and the world worshiped the harlot..It was prophesied. It happened, yet that church and many daughters will fight to the death that it is in the new covenant. ..it's not there...Modern day Pharisees...even Jesus in the flesh did not change their hearts. Just like in those days, these new pharisees love their man made church and not Jesus. They are full of empty words, and misuse scripture trying to make it say what they want it to say.

yup.. how can people call themselves christians and reject the word of God, look at this part.. the spirit is the word.. so if anyone is rejecting the word how can they say the spirit of God is in them?

i think some people need to read the whole bible instead of just taking parts of it, and you must stay true to the entire thing, it can't just be, oh i read exodus 20, i will keep this from today and forget every other book in the bible, if you sticking to that part you will miss the part that Jesus came and die for our sins and made a covenant with us of the holy spirit, and because of that righteousness does not come from the law anymore but from the spirit and only the spirit of christ, it's God spirit living inside of you that is where righteousness now comes from, that is why the bible said those who did receive christ, but yet still went back to the law have fallen from grace, because if our righteousness comes from christ there is no need for anything else just focus on God

i think not only reading, but living the bible as well is a good choice. Be ye not hearers only, but be ye also doers of the Word.

we suppose to die and let christ live the life in us not we doing our own things
