Brother Home, has all the prophesies been fulfilled? Has all the feasts been fulfilled? Jesus said...Think not...that I have come to destroy the Torah...for I have not
This regurgitated law-cultist talking point needs to stop. The law itself has not been destroyed, but its authority has been rendered void in those who believe in Christ.

Scripture that law-cultists use to try to make it look like we in Christ are under the law of Moses

Matthew 5:17-18 (KJV)
17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill.
18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

A scripture that shows the authority of the law has been rendered powerless

For [Christ] is our peace, who has made both [Jew and gentile] one, destroying the middle wall of the barrier, the enmity, in his flesh; having abolished the law (nomos) of commandments (entoles) contained in ordinances (dogmas); that of the two he should make in himself one new man, so making peace. I really liked Isdaniel. He was the first to reach out to me when I came to this site. It upsets me that he is gone. He will be missed, and for what reason, cuz he was pushed to the limit. I would walk away before I caused anyone to to gone. I'd hate to have that on my conscience. That don't sound like love to me at all.
isdaniel was troll and thorn in the side of this forum with his unending inane comments. Even having him on ignore, he was irritating. It is so much more peaceful here now with him gone. Thank GOD.

The law worshipers can't see that it has been changed. I think they are under a delusion about the law.

Does disobeying the 10 commandments nullify the grace of God?
I think you have that backwards.

You have been severed from Christ, you who are seeking to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace.
Gal. 5:4
Seeking to be justified by the law one can be severed fro Christ and salvation. The law can not save a single person.

Law worshipers? regurgitating? No authority from what is holy, just, good, and spiritual? If the law is God's Word, how are we all suppose to esteem it?
John 1:1 (KJV)
[SUP]1 [/SUP]In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

When the law was put in your heart did it change, or did your heart change the law when it was put there?
Jeremiah 31:33b (KJV)
[SUP]33b [/SUP]I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

It is irritating to spar back and forth in a never ending conversation trying to convince people that we have it right, when you know very will within your heart that others will never be in aw of your great knowledge, and will never have the incentive to see the truth because we are so busy to get people to listen to us rather than God's word. One last question concerning this scripture in Daniel. Who is wearing out the saints and thinking to change times, and laws?
Daniel 7:25 (KJV)
[SUP]25 [/SUP]And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

If a person cannot understand the spiritual relevance to the law, there should develop in the heart a fear. Hebrews mentions “a change,” in the Priesthood, and that High Priest said nothing else would be taken from it. You who are against the law only see the physical, and carnal aspects of the law, or a least that’s the way it comes across to those that read your comments. If one can’t see this, there should be a fear inside us that becomes very prevalent. Wisdom is lacking here.
Proverbs 9:10 (KJV)
[SUP]10 [/SUP]The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.

You are not stupid - we all have to start somewhere to learn and you are wise to ask questions of your elders, which just about everyone in here is since you are so young.

The sabbath was originally given to man by God for the purpose of the people taking a day off from servile work and gathering together to talk about the things God has done for them during the past week. The word sabbath means intermission and has evolved into what we call a day of rest. We need rest but the important part of that rest is to ponder God's graciousness and our anticipation of continued fellowship with Him. Obviously, things have deteriorated in that respect.

The fact is that people like yourself don't care what the bible says. They pretend that they do, and think that they do; but when shown over and over exactly what the bible says, they go into denial and reject it because it conflicts with the indoctrination they've received from law-cultist and Hebrew Poser websites. In these people are fulfilled these words:

I have come in my Father’s name, and you do not receive me. If another should come in his own name, you will receive that one. How are you able to believe, if you accept glory from one another, and do not seek the glory which is from the only God? Do not think that I will accuse you before the Father. The one who accuses you is Moses, in whom you have put your hope. For if you had believed Moses, you would believe me, for that one wrote about me. But if you do not believe that one’s writings, how will you believe my words?” John 5:43-47

Do yourself a favor, step away from what you think is true. Open your heart to see if there is anything you have overlooked. You have probably been taught that we are free to be as we see fit as long as we love as Christ did. Well my friend, Christ was faithful to His Father, not contrary to Father. Why in the world would anyone be on a mission to discourage anyone from loving and obeying God's Law. Messiah's grace does not mean license to throw Torah into the garbage heap brother. But if you can never see clear to see the truth, then why are you on a mission to dissuade anyone else? Aren't we all supposed to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling? Beating someone over the head with what you think truth is it's just not right.

I come to this thread to share with other people who are like minded, instead I have tuned in to preacher Home. Please. Please I entreat you, leave it be man. I really liked Isdaniel. He was the first to reach out to me when I came to this site. It upsets me that he is gone. He will be missed, and for what reason, cuz he was pushed to the limit. Are you blaming me for his being gone? what did I or have I had to do with his being banned? where have I said the Law is not good?
Rightly dividing the Law is what is at stake here is it not?
Thanks I will ask Father to show me and tell me where I have not loved anyone as Father has loved me through Son/
And please if there is anywhere that I have posted hate for, please show this to me and I will repent when shown me
Just as Christ said to the who? Who boasted in the Law while not rightly dividing it out for self over love for all.
Thanks, I as well am searching, For God is my life, everyday Christ is my Sabbath rest fro eternity

I have shown clearly that the bible says the law has been rendered powerless. Yet you are unable to believe GOD's words.

The comments were regarding the CHANGING of the law - not whether the law is powerless through Christ. If you feel compelled to derail or change the topic of discussion, I suggest starting a new thread without the personal attacks on other posters, which is probably quite difficult for you judging from what I have seen for the past several months. I will no longer have a battle of wits with someone whose powder is wet. Ignore button!

Ephesians 2:15 (KJV)
[SUP]15 [/SUP]Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;

Matthew 5:17-18 (KJV)
[SUP]17 [/SUP]Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
[SUP]18 [/SUP]For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

So how do we reconcile these two scriptures seeing that they seem to contradict each other?

Ephesians seems to refute Matthew and some will say, “all is fulfilled according to Matthew chapter 5 verse 18, because Jesus fulfilled the law, and fulfill means to abolish.”

Then someone else will say, “Heaven and earth have not passed away yet.” Which person are we to believe? We all know the answer to that. Believe God’s Word, not each other’s interpretations of God’s Word. One of the hardest things for a carnal nature to overcome is the pride that is manifested because “WE” are right!

Let’s take it step by step. In Ephesians it says, “Having abolished in his flesh the enmity.”
From the Strong’s Concordance the word “abolished” means entirely idle, inactive, as not in motion. “Enmity” is the hostility that gives way for opposition.

For more detail, the first part of Ephesians 2:15 could read “Having stopped the motion by carrying the opposition that leads to hostility.” So far we are good. Where the problem arises is this next phrase. “Even the law of commandments contained in ordinances.”
Now we have proven the point that the law has been abolished, but oopsy-daisy, Jesus says it isn’t.

Where we can reconcile these scriptures, is to incorporate the next verse in Ephesians.

Ephesians 2:16 (KJV)
[SUP]16 [/SUP]And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:

So, instead of connecting the phrase “even the law of commandments contained in ordinances;” with the word “abolished,” we must connect the word “abolished” to “enmity.”

To summarize:
The law no longer reveals enmity/a division between God and those who are saved. Scripture tells us that the enmity or division, is gone, and the law which is still relevant, can only reveal a division between God and those who are not saved.
Jesus Christ has reconciled this past division by putting God and His children together.

Keeping every day holy is awesome Homewardbound, in that post i was just saying what God says, i'm not speaking my own words, not adding to, not taking from. The title of the thread is ( How to keep the sabbath). my answer is what God told us to do, to keep it holy.

Your explanation might work for you, but it's not what the Greek says. The enmity hasn't been rendered powerless; it has been destroyed through the death of Christ's flesh. The law delineated sin that constituted the enmity separating GOD and man. Christ destroyed this enmity in his flesh by rendering the law of commandments powerless to accuse us. The strength of sin is the law.

For [Christ] is our peace, who has made both [Jew and gentile] one, destroying the middle wall of the barrier, the enmity, in his flesh;

Preserving God's Word in our hearts destroys the enmity. Change the originality of the Word and create the enmity. Your choice. "Abolished" is the word, and I repeat…. "abolished" is the word. The word "powerless" is not in the KJV that I read, and I quoted the KJV. Now the word "powerful" is.

Hebrews 4:12 (KJV)
[SUP]12 [/SUP]For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

I think that the writer of Hebrews was referring to the scrolls that were available at that time. Let the Word of God cut down the enmity in your heart by having it revealed by the Mosaic Law as it was originally written and not "changed."

Don't be like the Mercedes Benz that verbalizes that your door is ajar when it's still a door. Open the door and get in, then consume what is in the jar. Could be the jar holds wine, and the old wine is really good.

Leviticus 26:10-11 (KJV)
[SUP]10 [/SUP]And ye shall eat old store, and bring forth the old because of the new.
[SUP]11 [/SUP]And I will set my tabernacle among you: and my soul shall not abhor you.
This describes “the abolishing of the enmity”, and lo and behold, it is written in the Mosaic Law for Christ’s sake for it to be fulfilled as intended.

Ephesians 2:15 (KJV)
[SUP]15 [/SUP]Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, “even is an added word, better understood as “revealed by”)the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
[SUP]16 [/SUP]And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:

Quote the scripture correctly by adding the 16th verse so as to understand the 15th verse. "Enmity" is abolished. If the law were abolished then that which our Lord and Savior fulfilled is also gone, and the fulfillment of something that doesn't exist makes that fulfillment grounded on nothing. Fulfill is not to abolish, and "end" is to complete the entire plan, and all the materials it took to make it work.
