Began wondering about that yesterday when the PMing innocent-minded people thing started, BananaPie. My cop brain hit tilt, thus the "And please keep in mind that not everyone who says they are a teen online truly is." post. It bugged me all afternoon and I had to come back and create that post. Asking a question like that is exactly what an online predator will do when looking for vulnerable innocents, so I was not comfortable answering the question, but gave the benefit of the doubt.

Good job admins.

Oh, I ran on Nascar Turbo when I read your post.

I picked up the trail before Thing 2 came on the scene. I have normal teens here training me, but them whatchamacallits worn't [sic] (Pardon me French LOL).

Nonetheless, something good has come out of this because now the Teens Forum can be remodeled to favor Christian Teens. Perhaps those "regular CCers" (young and younger LOL) can get together night in Singles chatroom to discuss these matters among ourselves.

Our goal in forums should be reaching Thing 1 & Thing 2 for Christ as well as exercising our faith in fellowship together regardless of where we hang-out. :)

I think I have all I need for the upcoming snowpacalypse / snowmageddon on Sunday.

My back hurts. Maybe it's broken. I don't think I could walk if it was. Then again...

I'm finding it very hard today to focus on anything super serious in nature.
I'm also finding that the older I get,when I come home I really have the need to immediately change into comfy clothes.

Thank God it hasn't gotten to the point of a silk robe,slippers & a pipe yet.

I posted on here a few months ago that I thought I had the chance to get full time. Well, 2 months passed, and that possibility seemed gone. But now, some things have happened that may open up that chance again! I'll hopefully know within the next few weeks.

I really hope so! I'd finally have a job that had benefits (I've never had that before) and I could pay off my debts quicker! I've been working part time for over a year, so this would be great!

Earlier this week I was stressing about it, and even started picking up some applications to other jobs to see if I could get some extra hours. But, it looks like I won't need to do that. :) Unfortunately, I'd have to change branches so I'd definitely miss the people I work with now. But I need full time, badly.
 
hmmm...starting to think less of CC in 2014 might not be such a bad idea. This place is getting stranger by the day.
 
Okay, quick funny story time. (Then I'm going to make sure I stay out of here until everything has been decided.)


Today, I had to clean the living room TWICE, no thanks to the dogs who trashed it not TWO hours after I just cleaned it. So I vacuumed the floor again, and told the dog to stay out of it. As I was bringing the vacuum into another room, Spice (one of two dogs) comes into the living room, sits down, and looks right at me. At the same time, my mom goes into the living room to water the plants.

I look at Spice and said to her, "You think you look adorable doing that, don't you?" and my mom replies, "Why, yes, I do think I look adorable, watering these plants!" She didn't know the dog had come into the living room. So she didn't know I was talking to Spice, and not her. :p
 
God is not your co-pilot. God is your GPS. You get into your car, enters heaven. You have control of your steering wheel. He's showing you the right way to heaven. You keep taking other directions. He keeps recalculating cuz He wants you to get to heaven. However, we have to ask ourselves, till when are we gonna go against the GPS?

Ordering pizza tonight. We're in the midst of a winter storm :S Pizza movie night :)

Other news, I really hope that guy at work asks me out. He's Christian, knows some of my friends from Uni, is compassionate, has spacers in his ears, has the kind of style that I like. He's younger than me tho, didn't seem like it tho, I thought he was age. He's tall, maybe thats why. I think we would be good together. Has two more shifts left at the house I work at, not sure if I'll get the chance to see him again. Here's hoping. Time to turn on the PersNickety charm ;)
