Chubbena, sounds like you daily read "Mein Kampf" as your daily "bible" reading along with the philosophies and "teachings" of Queen Isabella of Spain in 1492....a Nazi wanna-be you are...so ridiculous! Jesus is Jew you fool!
The OP is against anything Jews and I'm merely helping her out by quoting what Martin Luther has written.

Not all Messianic Congregations are this way. A great deal of them are. The one I attend on occasion says both Yeshua and Jesus in a service. Yeshua is the correct way, and orthodox Jews who don't believe in Jesus as Messiah will say Yeshu, which is a derogatory term indicating that they spurn the very thought that Jesus is the Messiah and it's a mocking term. The Messianic congregation that I attend is very balanced and there are some actual Jews who go there, and in addition both of the Rabbis are Jewish, so the GET IT. Not all Messianic congregations are "cultish" in nature. However, one does have to have discernment, and be well versed in the Bible, and have their "identity" in Christ,, not in Jewish ways, culture, etc. Jesus wants us to love HIM. Just as Deuteronomy 6:4-5 says, [SUP]4 [/SUP]“Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one! [SUP]5 [/SUP]You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. "

Messianic Hebrew Roots Cult 2005-2007, details of their worship

Here is how a typical worship meeting (Friday Evenings at Sunset) would be, at least in our little group of around ten people.

A and the others would set the table (I would help sometimes), and she would light Shabbat Candles. Remember she was mixing Orthodox Judaism with her form of “Christianity”.

She would wear a head covering and all the men and boys would have to wear kippas/yamulkas. Some of the men even wore Tefillum. Sorry for my misspelling of Jewish words. They loved the Hebrew Language. If they could sing in Hebrew (which I DO NOT know) they would DO so. They were OBSESSED with Israel, Hebrew, and anything Jewish in fact, but of course they mixed their belief in “Yashua” (Jesus, but they say the name “Jesus” is pagan, so they only use the Hebrew form). They consider the Torah to be superior to the New Testament too. They are focused on the First Five Books of Moses. In fact they re-read the Law over and over again. They believe you are not “saved” unless you believe in “Yashaua” and KEEP THE MOSAIC LAWS and Jewish Feasts and Sabbath and keep Kosher....

When I was taking Hebrew in a Baptist Seminary, we had to visit a Jewish church (of any of the streams of Judiasm) and write a report on it. We were NOT allowed to visit a Messianic church, because in the words of the professor, "It is made up of Gentiles, not Jews, and we want to see how real Jews worship."

I chose an Orthodox Jewish Synagogue, and although the Old Testament was the same, it was a very different form of worship than any Messianic or Christian church I have ever been too. I learned that true Judaism is a very different religion than Christianity.

The Hebrew Roots Movement is for people who are not walking in the joy of the salvation Jesus brings, or they would not be seeking the bondage that following the laws of the Old Testament, like clothing, feasts and festivals that Christ fulfilled.

My exposure to the Hebrew Roots Movement has been the absolute opposite to yours! Their goal was to expose the joy of the salvation Jesus brings in the deepest way possible. If they used the clothing, feasts and festivals as reminders of what Jesus stood for, it was never for anything but everyday reminders of that. It was never about the ritual, it was about what the ritual meant in relation to Christ. It made my regular church seem lukewarm for Christ as if Christ meant everything to them and my church was rather ho hum about Christ. How strange the same experience would mean something so different to different people!

Hebrew roots movement (HRM) Considers:
1) The New Testament to be inferior to the Old testament.
2) The old covenant laws are still in effect. So the death of Christ changed nothing.
3) They place importance on keeping the law and side line the grace of Christ. (i.e. law trumps grace)
4) The Christian new Testament includes books and writings which are not scripture.
5) Keeping old testament law is more important than having a relationship with Jesus.

Bottom line:

Those snared in the HRM idolize the law. They are legalistic judaizers who down play the effects of the cross.

Beware/Stay away from of the HRM

down with the Talmud!

Yahweh's Scripture ONLY!

Romans 3:31, "Are we then doing away with the Law through the faith? By no means! Rather, we establish the Law!"

the word Law is: 3551. nomos
nomos: that which is assigned, hence usage, law
Original Word: νόμος, ου, ὁ
Part of Speech: Noun, Masculine
Transliteration: nomos
Phonetic Spelling: (nom'-os)
Short Definition: a law, the Mosaic Law
Definition: usage, custom, law; in NT: of law in general, plur: of divine laws; of a force or influence impelling to action; of the Mosaic law; meton: of the books which contain the law, the Pentateuch, the Old Testament scriptures in general.

Mattithyah 7:23, "But then I will declare to them; I never knew you. Get away from Me, you who practice iniquity."

iniquity is:#0458 ἀνομία anomia {an-om-ee'-ah} from G0459

Greek Word Study (Transliteration-Pronunciation Etymology & Grammar)
1) the condition of without law
1a) because ignorant of it
1b) because of violating it
2) contempt and violation of law, iniquity, wickedness

it's not even jews doing it - it's "others".
i shudder to think what Paul would say were he to send a new letter (since these ppl won't read Galatians)
I shudder to think of the treatment Paul would receive from today's Judaizers if he happened into one of their Shuls.

Paul wrote this:

Acts 24"14, "But I confess this to you, that after the way which they call heresy--so I worship the Father of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the Law and in the Prophets."

a "judaizer" is one who pushes judaisim, which is Talmudic, NOT YAHWEH"S LAW

You're comparing apples and artichokes. It's one thing to have a love for the Jewish people and pray for their salvation and also despise the "Judaizing" of our faith. Because one holds to the latter doesn't mean one is anti Semitic nor holds to the former.
Reread Telchin's comments they were great and he is a Jewish believer.
I am comparing the promises of God toward Israel and its people in the future at the second coming and what Zone believes has already happened to them having no future in this life or the next to come. She does not pray for their future salvation because she does not believe they have a future. Let her express here what future she believes Israel and her people will have at the second coming and in the kingdom to come. Are you ready?

Strange, the HRM you went to. The one I went to taught:
1. The NT completed the OT
2. Law was established at creation and the principles like love and justice remain the same, but Christ changed lots about it. We need to learn exactly what Christ changed.
3. Grace always was, sin without Christ affects grace, but no work we do can result in grace.
4. All scripture is God breathed.
5. A relationship with Christ has always been most important of anything.

If we say our actions result in God's grace it is as bad as saying we are Gods. Only God has power to give grace.

I got these teachings at a church that called itself "Messianic Synagogue". Where did you find your teachings?

A Judaizer is a person who stresses adherence to OT law that has been obsolete. Such as Circumcision or observing the Sabbath.

Sounds like you do not understand grace. Grace is the unmerited favor of God given freely to sinners who believe in Jesus so they can go to Heaven.

seems you have forged my post by adding a word to it.

that is very dishonest. your fruits show who you are. (you added the word in red)

and irrelavant to what most think or say a "judaizer" is its in the name its about Judaism, which is in opposition to Scripture, even OT only Scripture, Judaism called one a heretic who only believes in Scripture and not their oral law that Yahshua condemned.

Did I say it was different? Although maybe we differ in that you think such as liars and drunkards can have grace while hanging tight to their sinfulness. If you say that, our understanding is different, and I think you don't understand. I go by scripture.

You didn't answer about where you got your information about the HRM, and do you think yours is superior to my information gotten from the church I went to?

could you show me from scripture where this is said to happen please?

incidentally:

Galatians 3:28
There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

there`s that little book again - like nails on a chalkboard for some.

Clearly Messiah condemned Talmudic Judaism, for right reason, yet there is truth in what most people call Jew things.

Possibly the Instructions of Yahweh? Yahweh appointed times?

Zecharyah 8:23, "This is what Yahweh of hosts says: In those days ten men, out of all languages of the nations, will take hold of the tzitzit on the tallit of him who is a Yahdai, saying; We will go with you, for we have heard that Yahweh is with you."

Yeremyah 16:19, "O Yahweh, my strength and my fortress, my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles will come to You from the ends of the earth, and will say: Surely our fathers have inherited nothing but lies and vanity no use at all!"

A LIE.

She does not pray for their future salvation because she does not believe they have a future.
A DAMNABLE LIE.

Let her express here what future she believes Israel and her people will have at the second coming and in the kingdom to come
if anyone - including Jews receive the new birth, through the Gospel, and are transferred to the eternal kingdom (which was their promise), they will have eternal life, just as the prophets foretold.

if they reject Christ, at the second coming - like all unbelievers they will face judgment and damnation.

are you going to argue with Jesus Christ, who said that....yes, you are.
you do every day.

Zone what do you think happens to people who accept or think they accept the Messiah yet do not do what He says?
