I drove 2.5 hours away to visit a college friend. My GPS got me lost towards the end (thankfully only about 15 minutes out of the way), BUT, because of that, I got to see one of the most GORGEOUS sunsets I've seen in my life, AND I got to stand under one of those giant, electric windmills. I don't know if I was supposed to...but there was a gravel road right up to it and I couldn't resist. They are gigantic. My heart just pounded being so close to something so huge.
It was great. It definitely made my night, which is good because I was meeting my friend's boyfriend, and he's great, but I got that pang of "When will this happen for me?" but it was still a good night.

Someone please tell me what's going on with Alexis/Buckets, because I'm very confused. How did people find out the truth about them being trolls?
That's one of the many things about this that makes me sad. Do you know how excited I was to see Alaskan girls on this forum? I never see Alaskans online O_O I was delighted to receive a message from Alexis saying "hey! We're neighbors!!"
Then we all had lovely little chats about Alaska and lots of people wanted to come visit..
Then this drama happens, and now I know that the next time someone comes here and says "Hi guys! My name is ______ and I'm from Alaska" everyone is going to cringe at least a little bit on the inside. And some wannabe comedian won't be able to resist saying "here we go again.."
I'll understand if no one wants to visit me anymore because they're afraid Alaska is full of internet frauds.

Feeling so emotionally drained. I was unexpectedly given an opportunity to visit a cousin that my judgmental relatives have practically shunned for the drama she causes. Granted, that is a valid reason; but she isn't a believer. And all the family knows she and her mom have lived through a lot of stuff. Only my parents have consistently shown her grace.
When I told her about how far The Lord has brought us, my cousin told be about the beatings she had survived as a kid from her parents and confided in me that her husband is continuing the cycle. That broken my heart, and stirred up a lot of stuff so I cried the whole way home. I'm praying that she finds The Lord and finds freedom from the abuse in her marriage and in her past.

I'm not gonna lie. I find you attractive. Sadly, nothing can be done about it. I was told to guard my heart. My eyes may wander, but I'm always fighting with myself to stay faithful to the only one that I'm lead to believe is my God. You probably wouldn't understand that, nor care to see why I pursue such an odd lifestyle. But, I find that this type of suffering is lighter and a lot less troublesome then violating my conscience. I don't think I'm capable of the type of love you got playing in your head. As sweet as it sounds, it still seems a little superficial. But then again, what do I know?
