I saw some posts from a precious person in another thread that seemed almost apologetic for being pure of mind and of heart. There are many of you with these qualities in this forum. I love that about you and I pray that you will cling to your innocence wholeheartedly and never apologize for it. It is a gift. It is as we were intended to be.

Some of us who've bitten the apple understand full well just how precious a gift it is and wish we could have it back. I am thankful that God is in the process of renewing us and giving us the mind of Christ. It's not the same though. At least not at this point in life.

I felt it was important to put this here for several reasons:

1. To lovingly encourage you to cling to your innocence and purity with all of your might;
2. To serve as notice that if you get caught up in all of the sexually related threads that popped up in this forum overnight, you will begin to entertain thoughts you really don't want. Stay out of there. Do what Joseph did. Drop everything and run. Don't test yourself in this regard and don't try to see how close to the fire you can get without being burned. If you do, you are likely to trip over your own feet and fall in. Just....don't. Please.

Encourage one another to remain pure of mind and of heart and do not argue about things that go on in darkness. Don't take your mind there. Please.

Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble,whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.
This is a great post! Thank you for sharing! Jullianna, you have such a such a sweet heart in always "warning" others. This post is something that truly would have helped me when I entered the "world of chatting". It is incredible what the devil will use to take the innocence away from God's people, even here on CC.

Here and in life you can often think you are helping someone or receiving help from others when the enemy finds a way in and twists things. It is increasingly important to be on guard and know that we are not as strong as we may think. Don't test your strength.

Also, Tintin, I hope I wasn't implying that you wished you weren't naive. I just meant that I thought that was a funny story because of the naiveness, not that you shouldn't have been naive. I hope that makes sense. :)

As most are aware we don't normally make ban reasons public, usually the user title just shows as "banned". This is one of the rare cases that the Admin Team decided to make the ban reason public predominantly because we knew that Alexis/Buckets had become fairly popular and the ban would end up creating drama. Simply put both it was the same person behind both nics and the Admin Team here takes catfishing and other forms of fraud on this site seriously and we do not take these decisions lightly.
Wow. That's not cool. You think you find some friends in Christ and then they turn out to be fake. I don't know why I bother trusting anyone. Not cool. Thanks for sorting it out. I'm just disappointed and frustrated by this turn of events.

Yup I resisted. If I did say something the condemnation and hostility would've come pouring in and nobody would've believed me.

To me it was just too good to be true.

The thing is I believed it could be true because I've met a few teens who were very on fire for Christ and great at communicating that unconditional love to all people. That's rare. I believed this was another case of that. I'm rather trusting but I'm not stupid.

You're not alone. I'm a leader for the youth ministry at one of my churches and I know several teens there who could easily speak and love the way Alexis/Buckets did.

FYI, I am who I present myself to be, flaws and all. Never saw a reason to be fake... :) There are a few folks on here I truly respect and like...I hope you know who you are. :)

Me too, Myst. Me too. I don't think I could be anyone else if I tried. Thankfully, I've never tried. Yes, you get crap for it (throughout schooling etc.) but being true to who you are in Christ and who he made you to be is so very worthwhile.

I don't know about false prophets, but yes, to false sisters in Christ and false friendships.

You can learn quite a bit about the truth of scriptures.

2 Tim 4:3-5 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away [their] ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.
