Yeah. Well. A bit about the devil too.

Is satan as equally as powerful as god? If not then why does god let him get away with so much?

satan wanted to be worshiped like God and was very prideful, therefore he was cast down to the earth. He is bitter
because he only has a short time before he will be thrown in the lake of fire. He hasn't got away with anything,
judgement has already been made on him. He was the one who caused sin and all to begin with. When Jesus returns it is all over for him.
God did not create him that way, he chose to rebel.

Thank you

How do you know God is omniscient?

How do you know God is eternal?

How do you know there are not other Gods?

If God is everywhere, does God take up space?

How do we know God is good? Is goodness an objective truth outside of God or is it arbitrary as in whatever God does is defined as good?

Thank you for considering these questions.

How do you know God is omniscient? He is all knowing because he he is God

How do you know God is eternal? He was in the beginning and he decided to create us

How do you know there are not other Gods? Why would there be any other, he is the one true God, the IAm.

If God is everywhere, does God take up space? He is a Spirit and his spirit is everywhere. He does not take up space, only on his throne but his spirit is everywhere, or presence

How do we know God is good? Is goodness an objective truth outside of God or is it arbitrary as in whatever God does is defined as good? Whatever he does is just and right, his ways are perfect

Thank you for considering these questions.
Your welcome

Have you never read the bible?

I have read the bible yes.

No I never asked god. That would be a pointless endeavour because when I don't get a response you'll no doubt put it down as my fault.

James ch1:4-5…4And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. 5But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
I would never put it down as your fault. I am not here to condemn anyone, but if possible, just discuss for the purpose of
turning someone to the Lord

I too used to wonder if their was a God why would he let all these things happen to me. I figured there was a God, but I never knew him. When i hit rock bottom and got sick of my life, people not being real , letting you down, is when i cried out
to him, and he answered me back more than i expected. All he ever wanted was a relationship with me. He is amazing!

I don't doubt your sincerity my friend. But I don't wonder about it at all. I simply cannot believe it to be true.

I can believe it to be true because he has proved himself to be true. Only for the asking, i chose to listen to him, he speaks
a small still voice, sometimes an audible voice, through his word, through preaching, through others.
He has put you here for a reason to know him

Did you really expect anything different? I only posed the questions to expose the circular reasoning, there are no reasons, only assertions.

All we know about God is written in the Bible, the book tells us what to believe. In my opinion the mind, accepting what we read as truth, creates the framework in our subconscious to have experiences with God through prayer and meditation.

This seems more probable to me than "God" physically existing with all the qualities described in the Bible mainly because no satisfactory answers to my before mentioned questions are given.

Therefore say to them, Thus declares the LORD of hosts: Return to me, says the LORD of hosts, and I will return to you, says the LORD of hosts.
Zechariah 1:3

2 things I want to point out.

1. Well, the Bible says that Jesus will return some time after every household has heard the Gospel and made a decision to repent or reject. The way I see it, there's still people that can and will be saved. If Jesus were to come back right now, some of those people would not be saved. Thus, we wait.

2. Satan (and other evil spirits) only have as much power as we give them. If we don't use our athority in Christ over them, well, then that's when the evil spirits start getting their way. God gave us the athority over demons, but we have to excercise that athority.

And god realistically expects modern man to accept the word as quickly as the primitive farmers 2000 years ago?

In an era now where so many alternative (not saying correct) explanations are available for mans common questions, does god still expect man to accept him so quickly when we have much more information at our fingertips than we did back then?

People are under the misapprehension that the bible is evidence for a claim. But in reality it's the bible that's making the claim with no evidence to support it.

How do you know God is omniscient?.
The book of Job
Psalm 139

How do you know God is eternal?
Deuteronomy 33:27 The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Destroy them.

Psalm 90:2 Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.

How do you know there are not other Gods?
John 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

If God is everywhere, does God take up space?
John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

How do we know God is good? Is goodness an objective truth outside of God or is it arbitrary as in whatever God does is defined as good?
Mark 10:18 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God.

Thank you for considering these questions.
John 14:26 [SUP] [/SUP]But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
