also it appears we couldnt even make it 15mins into 2014 before we got a shooting call.

This may be hard for some of you to understand, but I miss crying. I've been on anti-depressants for 5 months now. Cried once while watching Jane Eyre in that time. I need that release, that moment of melancholy. To feel and appreciate the sadness of this song:

I get close to the edge of choking up- but nothing. Crying is what makes us human. I just miss that deep sadness.

I'm really hoping for some good things this year. I always hear that the second year of losing someone is the hardest; I pray that this won't be true.

We think one of the guys we support at the house is beginning to go downhill with his severe seizure condition. He's 30 and already doubled his life expectancy, he had to go to the ER yesterday, my boss said he and the guy's parents thought he might die last night, because of the intensity and prolonged seizures. He was unresponsive for the longest time. It was hard to get him up today. It's all so very sad that he might be getting closer to death and may not even be aware of it.
