Shoud a woman be a pastor overseeing men?

the only vers I found for women not to preach was women not to talk in churhc
when in other places they were

so I think that the KJV word that contradicts was a different meaning...

monks like the idea of women not being in the church so they pick a unclear word
original word was
Women should not have a Bible study while the preacher is preaching
men either
so I think the evidence iw good enough for me

Go ye all into the world and preach the gospel is not a men only thing

back then the cultures didnt like it, but some did anyway.

SHOW ME FROM THE BIBLE WHERE WOMEN MAY NOT PREACH AND MAY NOT TEACH AND MAY NOT MINISTER

I dont think the women speaking in church applies, I think the monks polished over that one...

so clear enough.
and the spirit tells me now
women may preach
and they may preach in their church if they home church
and they may baptize
and that is basically that.

In face it is clear that it is a messenger not a leader by the definition of herald.

I don't think a women will be killed or damned if they are pastors, we are debating if they should, which God's word says they shouldn't. I don't think it is a needed thing for salvation but the goal is to follow God's word.
 
So
Do what the spirit tells you
soon things get clear

soon very few will remain alive

and when women are one or two in a home church
they will have to preach...

I agree men have messed up, and obviously in a group of women, like the women lead, because there isn't another option. The holy spirit you think is talking to could very easily be your own brain telling you what you want to hear. Read the bible. It says what is says and stop trying to change it to fit your view. I truly pray for you and hope God shows you the truth whatever it may be.
 
There are two ways to understand that verse

pick not the way you want that contradicts all the other verses

pick the understanding that matches all the other verses.

Any doctrine that stands on ONE verse is incorrect usually

so see what else it can mean

weight of evidence points to not having womme n interupt the service with talking.

pray and ask yourself.
 
find me a verse that says women should be allowed to lead a church.

There isn't one.

They can preach, not be a pastor.
THERE IS A DIFFERENCE.
One leads a church, one is spreading the good news.
 
Valuing and honouring females or males in Christ - regardless of gift / service / position pretty much sums it up for me. We are a body - not a scattering of limbs. I meet some amazing pastorally gifted people ( in 'positions' and not - who said it had to be a position? ) and I cant get enough of what they have to offer, Im thankful we have them! :) Precious.

If I remember what and who I was - especially before I 'found' Christ and experienced his grace - How could I ever point a finger and say NO! Especially when it comes to People. Not sin - POEPLE.

People who have genuinely received Christ are awesome beings - filled with the Holy Spirit himself? - wouldn't want to disregard that - that's worthy of honor :)

Sometimes we are so good at loving the lost. But we sometimes just neglect the awesome family we are born-again into :(
 
Any christian who wishes to dent woman the same rights as any man denies the teachings of Jesus!!!!

There are many churches in the world with one or two members.
The eldest member with the most Bible experience should be the pastor.

in Burma, 98 percent of the churches that are christian are women.

Men do not become christian

seriously, women can be pastors.

God will bless them and give them the holy spirit too

You are a pastor when the holy spirit tells you to be one.
No rules

The woman at the well was a wonderful pastor, she was the first preacher and evangelist in the history of the Bible.
 
Lets not worry about it
lets jsut rest in knowing it is the holy spirit that works
really
we dont have to worry about it

the vocanoes are coming
the meteors are coming

the owner of the house is the pastor until God sends them another, as the group grows,

God knows how to save.

It is ok, If a church wants a man pastor let them choose, I know some women who are very inspired.

but whoever is the pastor
on the Sabbath
God promises to inspre that person and it is as God is talking when inspired

he inspires women too
that is the point
 
There won't be churches soon, just little groups of survivores
the point is soon moot. read Amos and Zephania
get ready.
