Fond memories include, but are not limited to:
My daughter being born
Painting junk
Making some new friends

Not so fond memories include, but are not limited to:
Realizing things I've been purposely blinding myself to
Losing my dad without ever having tried to reconcile things with him
Many, many tiny but stupid things I've done when I knew better

Fond memories:

- I had my first "real" valentine's day.
- My best friend got engaged.
- I joined a bible study/small group that has proved to be such a nurturing environment for my spirit and my relationship with Christ.
- I made a lot of new Christian friends at school, church, and here on CC
- I joined CC! :D
- I got to go on a family trip down to the southern USA to visit my dad's side of the family... for the first time in 7 years. I also met my uncle in person for the first time ever on that trip.
- During the aforementioned family trip, I got to hug my favorite cousin, whom we almost lost in a horrific car wreck 7 months earlier.
- I went on an incredible Christian retreat with my closest friends. It was also my first-ever trip to seattle.

Memories that are both fond and not-so-fond:

- My dad left for an extended trip to the Philippines. I miss him terribly but he's there for an amazing purpose and I'm in awe at how God is using him.
- During his stay, he was hit head-on by the Typhoon Haiyan, and survived. Immediately following the typhoon, he was nearly killed by an entire hive of deadly hornet, but he survived.
- He's tired and stressed, which breaks my heart, but he's working so hard to help bring relief to children affected by the typhoon.
-Last semester was the toughest one I've had in my entire college experience. It was rough and I had complication after complication, including injuries, professors making huge mistakes and letting me take the fall for it, and incredibly annoying changes in the music program thanks to the college administrators. I was pretty discouraged for most of the semester and thought I'd fail everything but I ended up passing everything with flying colors. :)
