I got to visit with my very good friend and her family today. Visiting them is like being home. I thank.God that they are in our lives. Also they don't think .It's weird when I sing the Yo Gabba Gabba song, there's a party in my tummy.

My sweet Rachel:

Remember our Lord's promise:

"I go to prepare a place for YOU. ...I will come again and receive YOU to Myself; that where I am, there YOU may be also" (John 14:3). :)

Hugs in Christ,
BananaPie

Rachel, here is a video I put together for a worship song from my youth group days (a long time ago), that has always given me an encouraging spiritual lift when I was down and feeling somewhat lost and confused. I hope it can give you a little lift as well.

I remember listening to this song when I was a little girl (like 3-5 years old). :) We would sing it in church all the time, and it would play in our tape player. I haven't listened to it in over 9 years, but I still remembered that chorus, and even a bit of the first verse. Thanks for posting. It brought back one of my favorite childhood memories - singing like no one was listening and listening to praise and worship songs like that ("Shout to the Lord" was actually my favorite song when I was a little girl. :))

That's awesome, lil_christian, thank you for letting me know this song was an important part of your childhood and that you enjoy hearing it again now.

And thank you for making me feel even older than I thought I was. I guess I'll be getting a room in the CC's Senior's Home quicker than I thought - lol.

Soon enough I'll be feeling old when/if I have kids they'll be asking me why I listen to all these old songs, and I'll reply, "They were just made in 2013! Wait....that was 15 years ago! o_O"

Fenner, do you eat the same ice cream I eat? It's called "Youth-Be-Gone" - And You'll Never Get It Back!!!

And now Youth-Be-Gone comes in mint chocolate, strawberry, and caramel (just to spite us!!!).

Ugly, I'm sorry if you have been hurt by someone. But please don't generalize and makes it hard on yourself!

Words are meaningless. People use words all the time they never mean. And this is all we do here is words.

Ever so often I have the desire to get dreads. Today I have that desire, tomorrow that desire will be gone.

Thats very true, point taken. Shouldn't complain.
Not really my point, but... :) Being in a wheelchair actually can be kind of fun as long as you don't HAVE to be. I had fun with wheelchairs... right up until I had to be in one. Then it was just a burden.

I found a car I want to buy, will have to go down and check it out with my father, but low km reasonable price, a 2003 Hyundai. Says it runs well, will have to see. It's about 600 above my price range but hopefully it will still be around so I can save a few more hundred.

Hope it can brake without breaking.
