I'll be honest, I don't fully understand why they're classified as metal. I keep hearing people swear up and down that they started as an extreme blackish styled metal band, but I've yet to hear any of their music that sounded even remotely like that. I do like what of heard though. Gorgeous sounding music, and solid lyrics.

Kekal is under-rated in my opinion. They have done some awesome unique stuff. Its the first 4 albums that are the heaviest, but the first one had more of an unblack sound.

Best of all, you can get some of their albums for free at their site Free Download 4 Kekal Albums - KEKAL Official Website totally worth it.

anyway, i dig them. "narrow avenue" is a favorite. their newer stuff is a weird industrial and lyrically they're crazy; "learning to love the future" is really good from their newest - can't find a vid to post.
