Cat herder gave me an idea for a thread....

This has always been a fantasy that I will never get to live out:

if you were to spend an overnight in a mall or store without getting caught, what would you do?

Everytime I watch ''Where the Heart Is'' I ask myself that question. What I wouldn't do for sure: give birth to a baby.
What I would do: if it's an electronics store, I would play to all the videogames I like, or I would watch movies in a 3D screen. If they had candy and snacks.....well you already know what I would do. :) At bedtime I would pick the most comfortable bed or sleeping bag I find and warm and cozy pjs.

really would never catch me in one in the 1st place. and if somehow I did get stuck in one well it would be one boring night since most of it is empty.

Good Lord!

I'd grab the skates, and breeze the night away playing hymns over the mall's intercom!
I'd be cruisin' peachy sweet, like totally. :D

Break in electronic and music stores and just fill up every back pack I can find. And then torch down hot topic and make my get away in the confusion of all the firefighters. It's a good thing I won't get locked in a mall...

My nose would probably be stopped up the next day from sniffing all of the candles in Yankee Candles and pretty much everything in Bath and Body Works.

I'd be nauseous from helping myself to Godiva chocolates, Cinnabons and Auntie Anne's pretzels. :)

I would have my favorite music playing as loudly as possible while I tried on tons of clothes and shoes.

I would press all of the buttons on the toy airplanes/police cars/firetrucks (but I kinda do that anyway ).

I would check out all of the books I've been wanting to read.

I would wade in the fountain. :D

I would slide down the banisters.

I'd be exhausted...

Yay! I inspired a thread!!

I would need a week, not just overnight. The first night, I would not make it past the bookstore.

I'd go to the bookstore too. I'd also go to the pet store and cuddle with the dogs and cats. Then I'd probably give myself a makeover. Then find a nice comfortable mattress and sleep.

I'd take evvvverything out of two different stores right next door to each other and put evvvverything back in the wrong store, so the employees would show up in the morning, go inside, start work, and be totally confused.
Probably would be most fun to switch like, Hot Topic and somewhere like...I dunno...someplace that sells normal stuff.

That would be fun! I'd switch Victoria's Secret with the Gap.

I'd walk around, look at, or maybe even enjoy the contrast of this lifeless building compared to the exuberant economic organism that the mall is during it's regular hours.

If anything, I'd sing real loud like no one was around. :p

The imaginary mall that I happen to be trapped in has a temporary store set up for horse adoptions so I would take a horse and ride it to the mattress store, where I would then jump across and dance on all the mattresses while singing at the top of my lungs.

I'd do other things...but that'd probably be the first thing I'd do.

Oh boy, I wouldn't be able to control myself, hence the phrase " like a kid in a candy store". I would be on a full blown shopping spree, American Eagle Outfitters here I come. :D

I would go to the All American Cookie Factory and bake and decorate all the cookie cakes then go on the computer and add myself on as an employee. I would find a good book and one of those massaging chairs and relax a little while. Then I'd redress all the mannequins into something modest.... go to the subway and fix a sandwich ...eat it of course.... then walk a few laps in some new shoes I borrowed.... then find somewhere comfy to settle down for the night.

This thread made me smile,'cause a few of my friends & I thought it would be cool to actually try this...hide out in a store in the mall until closing & then once they locked us in & were gone..we'd just have complete reign to do anything & of course take anything we wanted. We could never come up with a way to avoid setting off alarms & cameras so I suppose it's a good thing we never attempted this or I might right now be typing all this to you from Cell Block F,instead of my home. :p

There could be good times in cell block F. Rolling cigarettes, making license plates, talking to people through plate glass windows, celebrity inmates, etc, etc.
