To all that think I am endorsing something incorrect I have some questions.
If we do not endeavor to study the laws of the old covenant temple, seeing that it was according to God's plan, how are we ever to know how it is supposed to work within ourselves now that we are the temple of the new covenant, according to the same God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ who gave both?
Would you think it was for a reason according to the complete plan from the beginning, or do you think Jesus represents an afterthought, even though He created all things?
Do we claim the salvation of the new by rejecting the old, or do we accept the beauty of the new with joy and peace because the old?
Are we not suppose to see the relationship, seeing that both are the plan of the same God and Father of of Lord Jesus Christ?
The apostles saw this relationship, why is it wrong to follow suit with their example, and their insight that came via the Holy Spirit reminding them of the truth spoken by Jesus, and His Father?
By not understanding this are we subconsciously separating Jesus from the Almighty God, or do you think that was God's intent to be permanently separated from His own son?
A permanent separation would make us think of only this verse. Mark 15:34 (KJV)
[SUP]34 [/SUP]And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is, being interpreted, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
If we purposefully separate, are we not purposefully denying this following truth in the scripture?
John 14:1-9 (KJV)
[SUP]1 [/SUP]Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
[SUP]2 [/SUP]In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
[SUP]3 [/SUP]And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
[SUP]4 [/SUP]And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.
[SUP]5 [/SUP]Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?
[SUP]6 [/SUP]Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
[SUP]7 [/SUP]If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
[SUP]8 [/SUP]Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
[SUP]9 [/SUP]Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?
