What is the longest you've stayed up?

What's the longest you've stayed up?

The longest I've stayed up so far is about 33 hours...and it was because I went on a road trip for the first time EVER and I wanted to stay up and see the mountains and everything haha!

How long have you stayed? and whyyyy?
 
I once stayed awake over 24 hours at a church lock in. It wasn't easy, but I did it.
 
about 30 hours. - We were competing, but everyone else fell asleep :(
 
It was me. I had a painful medical condition that wouldn't let me rest. Eventually, I wound up in an emergency room and got shot full of some manner of morphine derivative. I passed out for around 18 hours.

Thanks for giving me an medium through which to complain about my tapestry of ailments. Now, brace yourself against the floor and pull out your decoder rings as I discuss my swollen, dislocated...er...I'll save that gem for another time. You'll have to tune in next week to find out!

I have pretty bad insomnia. I stayed up for 2 nights. It was horrible.
Like, the second night, I just started bawling. Because I wanted sleep...and I tried falling asleep but just couldn't!
 
I have NO idea how many hours that 4 and 1/2 days equals out to... But, I've done that.. I had an abcessed tooth, and couldn't saleep because I was in so much pain... It REALLY sucked.
 
I think we need to see the flip-side to this argument also,and ask...

What is the longest you have ever slept?
 
Oh!!!! 23 hours straight when I got home from my missions trip to Belize when I was 15.
 
I was young at the time, about 17 yrs. I was working a fundraiser for childrens charities. It was alot of fun but when done and we all were going home I was seeing dancing animals on the highway. I stopped after that and let another drive. Yikes never did that again. Smiles and God bless, pickles

Haha, yeah, it sucks. Sometimes I only get like, 2 hours of sleep. And I LOVE TO SLEEP. So it doesn't make sense why I have insomnia, haha. But I could probably stay awake for 3-4 days and not be tired. I may make myself sick, but yeah lol.

Probably like, 23 hours? I'm not sure.
 
I've never clocked it, but I sleep for a really long time after along trip or whn I'm sick.
 
One time when I deployed to thenmiddle east, we had to unload set up, etc. It came out to about 37 hours or so. As long as you kept busy, didn't really notice being tired. And lots of coffee of course!
