Story floating around online: "A Pastor was traveling last week, he saw an old man...

https://www.facebook.com/continuemng/posts/183608208441694

A pastor was traveling Last week, he saw an old man, and gave him a lift. While they were going, the old man said; my son, do you know what happened in Heaven last night? The pastor was so terrified and hurriedly parked and asked; Sir, are you sleeping? How did you get the information about Heaven? The Old man said; last night in Heaven God became very angry with man and asked the Angels to blow the trumpet. The angels picked up the trumpets and as they were about to blow it Jesus fell down and began to plead in tears.

The blood that came out of His hands and body were very fresh. He told God that His death shouldn't be in vain. God couldn't stand the pains of the saint and the wickedness of the evil ones. So He said; "AM GIVING THEM THEIR LAST CHANCE.". Jesus then turned to the angels and told them to move down in their numerous numbers to tell the world that "THE END IS NEAR, JESUS IS COMING VERY SOON".

The pastor (sweating and crying) asked; sir, how did you know this?. The OLD MAN replied; I am one of the Angels sent to the World. Please use every medium of communication to send this message. No time to waste, Please! And the old man disappeared. Brethren, this story is real, Christ
is coming Soon. Please REPENT.

So, questions: Have you come across this yet? What are your initial thoughts regarding the truthfulness of this story. What about in the sense of scripture- could this story have any merit? I have my own thoughts and opinions, but I definitely what to get some perspective on this! I think it was first posted in 2012. Thanks and enjoy!

I don't believe Jesus would plead before his angels. Before God the Father, yes (ala the Garden of Gethsemane) but not before his heavenly creations.

He could be pleading to God, and not the angels. That's what it sounds like to me.
He is talking to God after He falls down and pleads. Or while He is pleading.
Anyway, I believe strongly that our Lord is coming soon.

The story has zero credibility in my opinion. Religious attention seekers love to come up with eerie extra-biblical revelations, and false claims of visiting heaven and hell. These things happen all the time.

This is MBFM. Christ and the Father NEVER disagree, nor does the Father EVER do anything in which the Son is not in full agreement. Christ NEVER tries to talk the Father into another path, He is in complete subjection to the Father...

Joh 10:30 I and my Father are one.

And the Father is greater than the Son...

Joh 14:28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.

1Co 15:27 For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.
1Co 15:28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.

Christ Himself, laid out the definite steps that must occur up to His return and this is not a last chance, it is the beginning of the Millenium when all will come to the Father through the Son. This story is just wrong on many different levels.

Couldn't help it, especially when I read the supposed quote about the angel who I assume is supposed to warn the world by trumpets instead came and said for man to warn the world via social media. Wonder upon wonders what do you know, I found the scripture this new revelation came from.

"And Saint Attila raised up the social media, outlook, facebook, twitter and print on high, saying, 'O Lord, bless this Thy media outlets that, with it, Thou mayest warn thy enemies before you blow Thine enemies to tiny bits in Thy mercy.' And the Lord did grin, and the people did feast upon the lambs and sloths and carp and anchovies and orangutans and breakfast cereals and fruit bats and large chu--

Brother Maynard (Eric Idle): Skip a bit, Brother...

And the Lord spake, saying, "Before blowing the trumpets thou shalt enter thy user name and password, then shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shalt be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shalt be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, press thy enter key sending thou thy social media of Antioch towards thou foe, who being naughty in My sight, shall snuff it.

Brother Maynard: Amen.

King Arthur (Graham Chapman): Right."

Re: Story floating around online: "A Pastor was traveling last week, he saw an old ma

I think it's ridiculous

why is Jesus bleeding, is he eternally in a state of crucifiction, and why he seemingly also at odds with God the father even though everything is already to be done at the appointed time.

I sometimes get stories like this email to me, best to just delete them, the "christian fiction" is more harmful than good, someone with a vivid imagination, anyone can write something on the internet and say it's true

Not to mention that the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the SON..it is Jesus that initiates the seals and the trumpets by cracking the 7th seal.

do you take everything literally in revelations, do you think Jesus is actually a lamb.

anyway if christians are going to just believe everything written on the internet as long as the person just has to claim they are christians they are going to be mislead by anyone and everyone.

'A paster was traveling last week' Paster who? from what church? from where? A true story would include these details I say ;) lol

Sounds like an atheist troll making up stories to sit back and watch some of the online Christian communities wig out, flail their arms about saying the Lord is coming!

That's also a distinct possibility. Similar things have happened before. Sane Christians in the faith would not fabricate a lie about God.

Re: Story floating around online: "A Pastor was traveling last week, he saw an old ma

Think we need further revelations as to who the father is and who the Son is?
If the Son is the father in the form of flesh?
If the Father is God in the form of Spirit?
But if they are one as the bible says God is one and there is no other besides him then the story is false but presented in good light in sense that it is meant to motivated rather than to deceive.

Re: Story floating around online: "A Pastor was traveling last week, he saw an old ma

If the were a true story the angel would have said fear not when the pastor was afraid. 2nd why would Jesus be bleeding in heaven, also why would God become angry with man? It does not say He is angry with the wicked but with man. God does not get angry, God has no pleasure in the death of a sinner.

Re: Story floating around online: "A Pastor was traveling last week, he saw an old ma

I see nothing in the article to give it credibility, but what it should do is get us to asking ourselves, "What are the signs we should be looking for?" We are given lots of warning signs in the Bible and we need to rightly interpret them.
Revelation 3:6 (NAS) "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches."
