I assumed you were poking fun, but I took advantage to show that in reality not "showtime at the Apollo" that the Pharisees are the one behind all these people that dont and wont speak the name of Yahweh. Before they banned it the name was spoken by believers. They were even responsible for the replacement of YHWH in Scripture with Lord.
The thing the Pharisees have in common with the Sacred Namers is their meticulousness about exact names, dates, clothing etc., straining at gnats while swallowing camels.

Bundling every one that uses the name of Yahweh (or a version of it) into a sacred name movement is err imo.

Also we could easily say every christian church in America is like the Pharisee in that they all make/pick and choose their own laws, rules, and ordinances.

Fact is the Pharisees replaced Yahweh with Lord, and most of the world follows that.

Surely there are SNM who go their own route Pharisee style.

but these things you apply to SNM,are Scriptual, again SNM may take it in their own direction, just as all man made religions do.

exact names, "there is only one name under heaven by which men are saved." I dont see any one having a problem with this verse? (Acts 4:12)

dates, Daniyl 70 weeks prophecy, Sabbath, Feasts days (no matter if you reject these or believe they are done away, they are Scriptual)

clothing, I assume you are talking about Tzitzit, these are a "tassel" that Messiah wore that reminds the wearer of Yahweh, there were actually Commanded by Yahweh, and are men and women not to have modest dress? or Is Shaul a SNM pharisee evil, lost soul?

AGAIN SNM, prosperity gospel, grace perversion, and every "group" of type of denominations can take Scriptual principle and wrongly implement them.

If we are fair well will point the finger toward every group that partakes in these practices even if we are included in that group and that particular group taeaches what we a comfortable with.

Bottom line truth is and sould be number 1, if it is not, there is a problem.

SO in dealing with the name, it is pharisee law not to say it, Yahweh Himself says He wants us to use His name, why is it most will not use His name and even fight against those who do and throw them in the group with people who twist these things?

Tradition has trumped truth in religion ancient and modern, its very sad. Again, why is it we can say, "ohhh those evil old bad bad Pharisees." But when we do the exact same thing they did there is nothing wrong with it. (I am not exempting myself, we all need 1000% truth and no compromise)

Mattithyah 15:2-3, "Why do Your disciples transgress the traditions of the elders? For they do not wash their hands when they eat. But He answered, and said to them: And why do you transgress the Laws of Yahweh by your traditions?"

God cares about the inner you. God is watching your attiudes. God wants to know if you have given all of your heart to Him.

"For the eyes of the LORD move to and fro throughout the earth that He may strongly support those whose heart is completely His." 2 Chronicles 16:9
Nothing in scripture states we must say a particular name of God and say it in Hebrew. The sacred name movement is an extremist group that is focusing on the wrong things.

Malakyah 2:2, "If you will not hear, if you will not take this to heart--to give glory to My Name, says Yahweh of hosts: I will send a curse upon you! I will curse your blessings; yes, I have cursed them already, because you do not take this to heart."

Yeremyah 16:19-21, "O Yahweh, my strength and my fortress, my refuge in athe day of affliction, the Gentiles will come to You from the ends of the earth, and will say: Surely our fathers have inherited nothing but lies and vanity; worthless, powerless gods, of no use at all! Do men make gods for themselves? Yes, but they are powerless! Therefore behold, I will make them to know--this time I will teach them My power and might; and they will know that My Name is Yahweh!"

Proverbs 30:4, "Who has ascended into heaven, or descended? Who has gathered the wind in His fists? Who has bound up the waters in His garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is His Name? And what is the Name of His Son? Tell me, if you know!"

Mattithyah 23:39, "For I say to you: From this moment you will not see Me, until you say: Blessed is He Who comes in the Name of Yahweh!" (Ps 118:26)

Yahyl 2:32, "And whoever will call with the Name of Yahweh will be delivered; for in Mount Zion in Yerusalem there will be deliverance, as Yahweh has said, among the remnant who has escaped of those whom Yahweh calls."

Exodus 20:7, "You shall not take the Name of Yahweh your strength to bring it to nothing, for Yahweh will not hold him guiltless who brings it to nothing."

Sorry, but if you do not use or reference standard biblical nomenclature, I am no interested in reading your post as I can't understand the source. You post things with Hebrew words but this site states posts must be in English. Why not add the English names so we can know what it is we are looking at?

You are being dishonest.

1. I did write English

2. you cant tell the difference between:

Malakyah and Malachi

Yeremyah and Jeremiah

Mattithyah and Matthew

?

No wonder you hold the doctrine you do. (ok just messin with you on that one)

How do you ever use a concordance?

but seriously, we both know you can read the post, that is just an excuse to deny what is written.

I thought Milayakyah was Leviticus or maybe Amos.

You say true. You cannot go take a look at those scriptures easily. It takes much effort. Effort that most do not care to excert. Hizikyah is VERY deep into not only Scripture but Biblical history and has many tools with which to study.

Be careful what you blindly mock.

To say what two groups have in common is not bundling. It's simply pointing out the commonalities of the two groups. You claim the pharisees did some changing of God's name. There are some Messianics that assert that Paul being a pharisee was a good thing...

it's not about whatever the Name happens to be in your language--

it's the Person behind the Name that matters.

I agree the one behind the name is what is most important.

But what I dont understand is why names are important until the Creators real name is used, then all of the sudden there is every excuse know why it is not important?

When people confess Yahshua Messiah as their ruler and savior, they use His name.

Commonly done as "Jesus Christ as my Lord and savior."

I dont see anyone at church saying ohh the name you confess doesnt matter, you can confess scooby-doo as you lord and savior.

So not being literal with the scooby-doo thing but I am trying to illustrate my point here.

Why is it as soon as one wants to use the real name there is a problem?

Why don't you agree with the first sentence in her reply?

You do understand, but once again you ignore what common sense and reason dictate. The bible in this country is written in english. All of it. If it is so important to you, as has been suggested, why don't you put all scripture you quote in hebrew? Oh, that's right...I beg your pardon. You are special because you use a hebrew word.

Common sense tells me to follow truth not tradition.

My avatar, that is hebrew, Yahweh that is english.

Its not impossible, Yah.....Weh.

It is His name, He says to use it, I care about what the Creator wants, He says to use His name thats enough for me.

PS words translate and keep meaning, names lose meaning when you translate.

Yahshua means Yahweh's Salvation.

What does Jesus mean?

There is no small argument among Sacred Namers on which is or are the sacred name(s).Most agree it should be a hebrew name but some do not hold to this at all. I think your observation is key. Do why hold sacred a certain name or do we respect the name because it represents God?

Its crazy how people freak out when you use the Creators name, why not be glad someone is using it?

Im not forcing you to use it, I choose to use it.

Why is this such a problem?

Reminds me of the Sanhedrin Pharisees, look what the Pharisee did when he heard a man use the name Yahweh:

"HE DID SO, [USING THE DIVINE NAME]. THE JUDGES THEN AROSE AND RENT THEIR GARMENTS, WHICH RENT WAS NOT TO BE RESEWN" (Talmud - Mas. Sanhedrin 56a)

Psalm 135:13, "Your Name, O Yahweh, endures forever! Your memorial, O Yahweh, is for all generations!"

Does Scripture even matter to those here?

To clarify, I have no problem with you using the names you do. I'd only have a problem with someone saying that if a sinner receives salvation in the Name of the Savior in their own language they cannot be saved.
I don't think that's what you're saying. :)

The ancient Israelites already had a language when God began His dealings with them.
There wasn't anything inherently holy in that language; God spoke to them in their language because He was speaking to them, and He wanted them to understand Him, right? :)

My post is saying just what it appears to be...that God won't refuse a sinner for saying the Lord Jesus' Name in their language because, as we agree, it's the Person of Messiah to whom they're appealing.

indeed, dan!

(not to get all hokey pokey about it but) that's what it's all about! :)
