Playing the best of both angles huh?

Group all together then pick em apart for not agreeing.

There are hundreds of denominations of Christianity, that in itself does not prove or disprove anything, other than all can not be right, doesnt mean all of them are wrong.

Also Scripture says to call upon a particular name many times.

Right, you assume I just invented this. LOL, look at the pic below. Notice all the symbols and names. Care to guess what it is?

This "Sacred Magick" diagram is painted on a floor. Spelling Magick with a K denotes it is ceremonial magick not David Copperfield magic. By invoking the correct sacred names, in the proper order, while standing in the circle facing east, dressed in proper attire and hands in the proper place, it is believed one can gain power when done on the correct dates. It even includes Hebrew writing which I assume is scripture. This is the circle which Aleister Crowley came up with and used.

So when you professed your salvation did it matter what name you professed as your "Lord and savior?"

So when you professed your salvation did it matter what name you professed as your "Lord and savior?"

would you be kind enough to answer your own question?
i admit i'm a bit disturbed you place those words in quotation marks...

so, please will you tell us if it matters what Name is used, and what Name you believe should be used, and what happens to people who don't use the Name you believe must be used?

thanks very much.

Will do.

I put Lord and savior" in quotation marks because I use "Ruler and Savior"

So I prayed in the name of Jesus, Lord and God for many years and had prayers answered, while I can prove those are not correct name and titles, the Spirit can make "moan and groans" we can not know, I believe this to mean interpret.

With that said I do believe it to be important to use the proper names because Scripture makes this an issue literally 100s of times. (I will post 2)

Acts 4:12, "Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other Name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."

Yahyl 2:32, "And whoever will call with the Name of Yahweh will be delivered; for in Mount Zion in Yerusalem there will be deliverance, as Yahweh has said, among the remnant who has escaped of those whom Yahweh calls."

These verses are normally cherished, yet as soon as Yahweh and Yahshua are used they are trashed.

Why is it that it is only a problem if the real names are used?

The letter "J" did not exist until the 16th century, so if I can change Yahshua, why cant I change it to anything? For example: "Confess Bob as Lord and Savior."

Of course that would be wrong, so it can only be a "new" name if its traditionally accepted?

I dont claim to say this or that will happen to anyone for not using Yahweh's or Yahshua's name, but I do believe their names will be revealed to His servants.

Isayah 52:6, "Therefore My people will know My Name; Therefore they will know in that day that I am He Who speaks. Behold, it is I!"

Malakyah 1:11, "For from the rising of the sun, to the going down of the same, My Name will be great among the Gentiles. In every place incense will be offered to My Name, with a pure offering; for My Name will be great among the Gentiles, says Yahweh of hosts."

Revelation 14:1, "And I looked, and behold, the Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with Him 144,000, having His Name and His Father's Name written in their foreheads."

Proverbs 30:4, "Who has ascended into heaven, or descended? Who has gathered the wind in His fists? Who has bound up the waters in His garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is His Name? And what is the Name of His Son? Tell me, if you know!"

Psalm 45:17, "I will make Your Name to be remembered in all generations! Therefore shall the nations praise You for ever and ever!"

Here is why I dont use "Lord" or "God"

BAAL [BAY uhl] (lord, master) — the name of one or more false gods, a place, and two people in the Old Testament:
1. A fertility and nature god of the Canaanites and Phoenicians. Also see Gods, Pagan.
Youngblood, Ronald F. ; Bruce, F. F. ; Harrison, R. K. ; Thomas Nelson Publishers: Nelson's New Illustrated Bible Dictionary. Nashville : T. Nelson, 1995

Isayah 65:11, "But you are those who forsake Yahweh, who forget My holy mountain, who prepare a table for gad (troop) and who furnish a drink offering for that destiny."

1409. gad
gad: fortune, good fortune - Original Word: גָּד - Part of Speech: Noun Masculine - Transliteration: gad - Phonetic Spelling: (gawd) - Short Definition: fortunate

1409. gad
Brown-Driver-Briggs 1. noun [masculine] fortune, good fortune - 2. proper name, masculine god of fortune (named often in Phoenician & Aramaic inscriptions, & found in Phoenician & Aramaic proper name)

BOTTOM LINE:

The pharisees are the ones who started removing Yahweh name, after how bad Messiah spoke of the pharisee traditions and laws I would think most would reject that pharisee tradition, but the vast majority defend this particular pharisee tradition tooth and nail.

We are to worship in truth and Spirit correct?

Why not actually do it and call upon their real names?

Tradition, comfort, habit?

I left all of those behind after serious study. (ps the more I learn the more I realize I dont know!)

Exodus 20:7, "You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not leave him unpunished who takes His name in vain." NASB

The word vain is the Hebrew word shav meaning: emptiness, vanity. Is it possible that removing Yahweh's name and replace it with Lord is making it empty?

Exodus 20:7, ""You shall not take the name of Yahweh your God in vain, for Yahweh will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain." WEB

Exodus 20:7, "You shall not take the Name of Yahweh your strength to bring it to nothing, for Yahweh will not hold him guiltless who brings it to nothing."

shav: emptiness, vanity - Original Word: שָׁוְא - Part of Speech: Noun Masculine - Transliteration: shav - Phonetic Spelling: (shawv) - Short Definition: vain

NAS Exhaustive Concordance - Word Origin from an unused word - Definition: emptiness, vanity

Psalm 135:13, "Your Name, O Yahweh, endures forever! Your memorial, O Yahweh, is for all generations!"

Psalm 116:13, "We will take the cup of salvation, and we will call upon Your Name, O Yahweh."

name calling again? calling people that want to give our Lord Savior, the utmost reverence He deserves, sacred name nutters. Sounds more like a demon than Holy Spirit. i want to give our Lord Salvation the utmost reverence, and i would be using Hebrew name, but i've been typing, and saying Christ Jesus so long, i'm not even sure how to spell His Hebrew name, and i'm afraid of not getting it right. Revelation 3:14 says, And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;

our Lord said when He returns, He will have a new name, could the new name be The Amen. i don't know, but thats what Revelation 3:14 is calling Him.

Did you profess a certain name when you accepted Messaih?

Actually it is the Holy Spirit that "wrote" Scripture

and Scripture says:

Isayah 42:8, "I am Yahweh, that is MY NAME; and My glory I will not give to another, nor My praise to graven images."

Psalm 103:1, "Bless You Yahweh, O our souls! And all that is within us bless Your holy Name!"

Psalm 105:1, "Give thanks to Yahweh! Call upon His Name! Make known what He has done among the nations!"

our Lord said when He returns, He will have a new name, could the new name be The Amen. i don't know, but thats what Revelation 3:14 is calling Him.

This is true, and none will know that name UNTIL the resurrection, so until then I will call Him but His real name.

and the name of the Father will never change:

Psalm 135:13, "Your Name, O Yahweh, endures forever! Your memorial, O Yahweh, is for all generations!"

There are hundreds of denominations, and the bible says
that means they are ALL wrong.

There is one gospel one faith one Baptism and one Lord, the word of God is his will

you can do what you wwant Jesus wont drag you into heavn and beat you everytime you dont want to do sometthing
He wont take you at all.

Goats stay here.

Be a sheep
obey
love
like a good bride
swooning over every word Jesus says.

You err, not knowing seeing, beholding, understanding, or being aware of the scriptures nor the moral ten commanment keeping miraculous power works, force, resources, and influences of YAHweh.
Matt 22:29
