notification should go to the person whose message was quoted
 
Good idea. I assume you know that you can subscribe to a thread, but yah I understand your suggestion is a little different, and it is a good idea.

( Yes - I know that 'detection' and 'display' are separable; it could be done even if the quote bubble were messed up. )
