Besides the three that I picked, and I'm still shocked to learn there are guys with the name Amanda out there, I would aso add a guy's writing. If he writes like he is texting, and he texts like he is in kindergarten, it's a turn off. I don't know why, but it just bothers me so much.

"Who cares if you disagree, you are not me, who made you king of anything" - I hate that song.

Anyways, you wouldn't have to worry about that with me. hahaha

I agree!

;)

Seriously, though, I love playful debates and new perspectives, so if someone got offended or annoyed when I wanted to talk about stuff, we wouldn't go well together. I don't want us to be exactly the same.

Unless it's country music. Then he can feel the same about it as I do, in that I really, really don't like it.

I couldn't date a woman who was arrogant & thought she's cornered the market on pretty much everything, that only her way of seeing thing's is "right" no matter what.

I couldn't date a woman who was non-communicative. I've been down that road, and it's just a waste of precious time. I am sensitive to the needs, desires & wants of the woman I am with, but I'm also not a mind reader. I like communication.

I couldn't date a woman who would constantly push my love for her away, someone who cannot accept or believe that when I tell them I love them, would fight me at every turn,no matter if I showed them in word or action. If a woman is that insecure or feels she is so unloveable, how can I change her mind or heart? The answer is I can't. Also, been there done that.

Looks are of no importance to me. I have dated all different shapes & sizes,ages...looks are very secondary to me.
If I had to zero in on something completely flesh - based that is a deal breaker but still is a "preference" for me looks wise,I have to be attracted to her face. For me,that's the most attractive, beautiful, sexy part of a woman. From the neck up is all I need to know...it holds her tongue from which her words flow to my heart, mind & ears...her lips for which I will spend forever kissing (yeah,'cause I really enjoy kissing, sue me.lol) ...her eyes, which say so much about someone and show so much expression...her smile that can light up my heart...and last but surely not least...her brain...her wonderful mind, which hopefully if she's a well rounded, wonderful person it will contain amazing thing's & idea's for her to desire to share with me.

Ummm..well ok..I didn't vote in the poll, but I hope my answers made some sense.

I really need to get back to packing now. My 5 min break has spilled into a half hour. lol

Country music is the worst! A bit of folk rock/ballad is good though.

Ha ha, That reminds me of a girl I used to go out with. We're still close and we keep in touch. When we first got together though, she always loved to argue. Didn't matter what it was about, she just liked to needle me to try and get under my skin. This lasted about 4-5 days into the relationship......then I started just agreeing with everything she said. lol, she didn't know what to do. She was like "Well it's not fair, you say you agree but your doing it all sarcastic like so it's not really true."

I replied "I agree completely dear, your 100% right all the time". That's when she gave up, lol. We're still really good friends an I haven't ever had an argument with her since then

I'm glad that Aussies don't like country. Could you imagine an Australian country song?

"My wife left me yes it's true, she took away my mongoose and my kangaroo. She took away my kids and everything else I had. Now I'm all alone drinking way out in the outback"

Wouldn't date someone that couldn't talk. That wouldn't talk. That couldn't share from his heart or "gut." Likewise, I wouldn't date someone that couldn't listen with his heart, that didn't or wouldn't take the time to understand and really know me and why or how I became who I am today.

Wouldn't date someone that was uncomfortable praying with me or for me or sharing/discussing about the Word of God.

Wouldn't date someone that couldn't show his feelings or his tenderness. Like a soft touch, gentle caress, hold hands, a certain look across the room, that sort of thing.

Couldn't date someone that would hide his faults, his failures, his pain, his loss, his fears. Need to know those to understand the person. That explains the whys and the how come for behaviors.

Wouldn't date a man who lies or is deceptive or has hidden motives. That's an end it now type of thing for me.

Wouldn't date someone that couldn't lead. I so don't want to be a leader. I want to follow. Side by side, yes. Ahead of? No.

Couldn't date someone that wasn't patient or longsuffering or someone that couldn't share with why I enjoyed doing the things I do (see it as a ministry to others).

Lastly honest communication is so very important. Black, white, concrete, no grays, tell it like it is. Good, bad or indifferent.

I couldn't date a woman who who just doesn't get things. Having to explain concepts all the time or wishing she had something to talk about is such a bummer.

Monicat wins a hojillion internets for this one line alone. I will be laughing at this for days.
I understood the 'lexicon' bit, but it took me a few seconds to realise she was playing on the usual Lexus bollocks. :p
