Well... I would agree with you that it is difficult to fully Know God at this time here on Earth.
And I can understand not believing in something without proof.
Have you studied and looked at natures design at all?
it sure shows a lot of evidence for a master blueprint.
Many mathematical fundamentals integrated.
Balance, velocity, gravity, etc.
The earth the perfect distance from the sun.
Our Body regulating itself to within 1/10th of a 1 degree at a constant 98.6
Colder than that problems can arise.
If we need to kill a virus, body raises its temp.
Hydrogen the most flammable gas,
oxygen which feeds it to sustain a chain reaction of heat we see as fire.
In a clean burning flame which is invisible is there still a fire?
If you can't see the heat is it still hot?
Yet...what puts out fire but those same two elements combined in the right state of being.

You can also know God, if you seek him and spend time with his word, this is how he communicates with us.
Some time down the road, he may even communicate with you one on one personally.
Then there is no questioning God any longer my friend.

Any god could have created the world. An unknown god. or even a creation of a god who have somehow achieved god-like power.

Ok. stuff with the same probability as a god.
Could be he just found an object thay gave him prophecies... and said they were from god cuz it was more inspiring... or they just popped into his head and he assumed they were from the god of the bible... maybe they came from a different god... or a telecommunication from an advanced alien race...
There are so many possibilities... And i said all this before... but you just wanna stick with your one unproven possibility... well there are lots of unproven possibilities... but where are all the proven ones? Exactly.
I could make up an unproven possibility. oh it was my god, Spintoofy, that made the prophecies! Can you prove Spintoofy does not exist? Can you prove he did not make the prophecies? No. but its very unlikely. same goes for your god.
Just cuz many people claim to have experienced your god means nothing... they had a strange experience and subconciously decided it was your god cuz that made the most sense to them.

This is 100% incorrect about Christianity, Read Job, Acts, Revelations, or even Jesus... If you live for Christ the bible promises you will be persecuted... That seems like the ratio increases on the bad side...

On a side note, I am really disheartned that modern books create straw-man of Christianity by grouping it with other religions...
Let me give you an example... If we have a car that truly works, it can run and won't break down... But a man dislikes the idea of a car and gathers every attempt at building one to show how ludicrous this idea is... All he has to do is show a few similarities between the working car and the nonworking cars, and the audience is oblivious to the fact 1 of the cars really works...

How has your belief helped you? Or how has your own logic benefited you in your time of need, time of loneliness, time of brokenness? If it were just a psychological illusion, why didn't drugs alter that for people? Why does everyone in the world suffer?

Im not confident in wether there is a god or not. but if other people are well thats their problem. it is possible to be confident as either atheist or believer. not wise but possible.

What's the possibilities to believe in God before death. I mean you won't lose anything in the process. You might actually gain something. Let's say you did give into the notion of God, in the end whether there is an afterlife or not, whether God will see you or not, what losses have you scattered by believing? It seems to give hope to people.
The poor, the broken, the lost, they all turn to Him when nothing else works, and it keeps them strong. You can even witness that here on this site, there is always someone who joins that seeks help from seasoned Christians who know God. Some turn away from addiction, some from horrible habits of life, the list goes on. Christianity is a ministry to the lost, that's what the world is, is lost.

God has sent you help. These brothers and sisters from CC are helping you out because God sent them to help you. If you leave this chat God will send other people to help you in your city. If you still refuse He will talk to your heart by other means. If you do not want, He will still help you.
Long ago, there was a man who hated God. He hated Him because He was not fair at all. He decided to spend the rest of his life swearing himself the following...I will demonstrate that God is nothing but just a liar. He made my life miserable. He does not deserve my respect.
So He went to libraries all around US and England to prove his point. And he started writing a book about it. He was progressing and He was content about it. He laughed at Christians the time....Why do you believe in God? How pathetic.....Ha....hope He saves you when problems arises...Ha.
He made fun of everyone and said that Jesus was nothing more but an ignorant carpenter....And meanwhile He kept studying and getting more results.... His goal was to publish His book to make Christianity the most pathetic philosophy invented by men.
One day He was in college and saw a group of people united and He asked them why they look so united from other foolish religious groups. One girl said....Jesus....
Ha..Jesus.....Stop with that stupidity......Do not come to me with that garbage of Jesus...I am fed up with the same dumb answer
The girl snapped back....I did not say religion I said Jesus....
They said....We want you to keep investigating this time about Jesus...We believe He is the Son of God......
He then started investigating with the goal of denying that..but He found himself in a battlefield...for the first time in his life, all the historical events were correct and all history pointed out at Him. The whole Bible He believed trash was actually pointing out Jesus. But what left him thunderstruck is that Jesus affirmed clearly that He was God.
One night...with tears in His eyes, He prayed to Jesus to save His life....nothing incredible happened...no angels...no fire....but rather a strong conviction.....he was still shaking....but He felt He was alive....
From that moment He became a fierce Christian and got a zeal to demonstrate Jesus is real.
Why...others asked...why....
He, with tears answered......Because He was real for me....for me....He changed me....
