Been doing 40 minutes on the treadmill in the evening. It's a slow pace, but it's a start. I'd rather do racquetball but I am thankful that we do have a treadmill in the house. :) On a side note, I probably shouldn't listen to my music as loudly as I do when I exercise. But it gets me so pumped!
Music must be LOUD. I truly believe that the thump of the bass physically moves my body for me.

In grade school creative writing class, I remember so many stories ending with everyone dying. They say that's a sign of immature writing skills, unable to tie up loose ends into a good conclusion. Thinking back on that, it dawned on me, Shakespeare ends his stuff with death....*ponders*....Does that mean his writing style is immature and under developed?

Bro, are you inferring my writing style is "immature and under developed?" Cuz if they is, I will stop. I sure don't want to bore the populous on the forums.

Hmm I'm not familiar with your creative writing. So no it's not a reference to you. Just a general observation about Shakespeare considering so many consider his writing the best in the world.

Thank you for clearing that up for me. Appreciate it.

Wait... Why would you even consider he was inferring this? Or are you Shakespeare?

People in pain, especially if they feel justified in having that pain, will hold on it to and hang it around their neck. If in dealing with them you can get them to go inward and start to strip away the layers and excuses and justifications and get to the bare bones of the issue, they will see that "wow, I got myself here, I need to fix this mess and I need to change." Ask questions in such a way as the answers they give shed light on their problem. Probe gently and pray like crazy (picture the duck with the legs paddling for all it's worth under the water) when spending quality time with them.
great advice, i especially agree with the above. thanks abbie.

You know how you can have 500 channels on TV but can't find anything to watch? I just caught myself whining that there is nothing interesting on the internet. =P

There's something to be said for using the correct word.

I just can't let anyone in. I don't fit into anyone's world, clique, and or beliefs. Apparently, I'm only good for working, giving without question, and to be the guy that just listens to other people's problems... Whoop-dee-doo.

Let people in. You may find that you fit in perfectly with someone, once you really get to know one another.

I liked this because I can relate... Not because I like that you feel that way.

I think I'm trying to replace my lack of human intimacy by staying online a lot. Unfortunately, you can't snuggle with the interwebs.

Tintin, I'm not Shakespeare. I just made an error. I posted, the other person posted and I failed to realize the other person was probably referring to something someone else said.

I will work on making a consciousness effort to read carefully, connect the dots/posts and respond using correct grammar and punctuation. I can be all business and put my quirky personality on the shelf.

I probably should ask first before responding in the future. In doing that it might elevate hiccups or should I say errors?

I'mma be scarce for this week, FYI. Not because I need to be, but it's just a crazy week at work, paired with a symphony cycle to boot.

Come Saturday, after 6pm, I may be drinking a taller-than-usual ration of 15-year-old something-or-other just to ease down from the craziness of the week. You guys have fun. ^_^
