Let's just say you won the lottery what's the one thing you would buy? The item you have always dreamt of? OR should I say items? What else would you do with the money? Mine would be:

-Edgar Allan Poe's writing desk.
- I would love to build my own library filled with all the books a girl could ever want.
- Open orphanages and shelters.
- Perhaps start my own business- It couldn't hurt to invest some of the cash.

After donating 15% to Jesus, I would buy a fully furnished two bedroom condo, new car and visit Israel every year and pray.

I'd give a large chunk to church/ministry - I'd have to do some research and praying about how to go about spreading it out in the best way.

I'd buy a home right outside of town and get horses.

I'd pay for a couple of college educations.

I'd invest the rest and live off the dividends.

What a fun question.

First, I'd tithe.

Second, I'd give to missions specifically in an area related to China and Chinese children.

Third, I would build my dream home with a fully equipped sewing room where I could teach sewing and a room with tutoring related materials for tutoring elementary aged school children who struggle with homework.

Fourth, I would travel. I enjoy history, especially the American Civil War, the Westward Expansion and WW2 and would love to visit sites and places connected with those eras. I would also like to travel to the countries of my ancestry - Norway, Russia, England and Holland. I would also like to visit the area in China where my great paternal aunt and her husband did missionary work. He preached and taught. She taught elementary aged school children in a church related mission school.

I'd buy a huge, old Victorian style house to fix up and turn into a home for me and my kids.

...actually, right now, I would just settle for being able to purchase a phone.
And some chocolate cake.

1. Tithe.

2. Pay off debt. (It had better be a big jackpot.)

3. Set aside tuition for my son's school.

4. Set aside money for both of us to go to college.

5. Make home/auto repairs.

6. Road trip to visit our friends and relatives, historical sites, and cheesy tourist traps.

7. Divide the remaining funds: half to charity and half in an investment portfolio.

this is easy for me.

after tithing and squaring with the taxes, i'd:

+adopt my woefully inadequate/poor k-12 school i attended when i lived in NW MT, set them up better. nutritious lunches, and better programming funds. create a college fund for those who graduate.

+move to a place where i had the space to set up an equine therapy program, focusing on traumatized, neglected and otherwise abused kids of all ages. horses are amazing teachers when it comes to confidence, acceptance, overcoming fear, communication, and learning how to be part a team.

+invest in some good community driven organic gardens, and use them to help people to have access to better food sources who otherwise can't afford it

+take a trip to the one place i most want to go -- the holy land.

+set up current driven or lap pool so that i don't have the smell of chlorine in my nose 24/7, no matter how many showers i take. equip a gym with my favorite stuff, a reformer and various pilates stuff and the like.

how much money do i have left?

+create college funds for my nieces and nephews

+help some of my family out so that they're better off financially. pay debts.

+buy a high end juicer (norwalk) for all of my friends/family

+invest the rest

I would invest it. Not sure how, but I would research and find something that generates more money. That way I'd have a constant source of income.

I would buy a home for my parents and pay off their debts.
I would help with my grandparents' contant medical expenses.
I would give a portion to my church so that they pay the new building's loan, and also to other ministries.
I would donate to charity. A couple of organizations come to mind, but I would like to pick one or two that I could constantly give to.
I would pay my education, and finally go shopping and eat tons and tons of sushi every day :)

I'd send it to TBN so they won't have to do all their irritating telethons. Maybe it would help them to buy some new gold plated furniture to decorate their stages...or one of the other "Christian" tv channels are always have a "faith seed" drive...every other week..or so it seems.

1. Tithe
2. Get a law degree (I've been thinking about doing this anyway)
3. Spend a lot of time in prayer as to what to do after that

I would give 95% of it away. I don't need anything.

I would be more worried about Camels and Needles than, "Doing it Right."

goats? how random.

dairy goats?
No just regular goats. Goats are funny and cute. My Brother has goats, they're awesome.

When I was a little girl I went with my friend to visit her Grandparents on their farm. They had a goat, he would chase us, then let us pet him, then chase us again. He was a funny little guy.
